I need information and advice about this;
In my i-20 it states that my tuition is $20,950 including housing, tuition and fees, living expenses, miscellenous fees included.
Now the school requests that I bring $8k upon enrollment the remaining balance to be remitted to the 2nd semester, also in my admission letter, they said I should bring additional funds for living expenses as my living expenses is not included in the $8k.
Now my questions are;
Will the school provide meals for me after the deposit of $8k?
What exactly is the $8k for since the school won't feed me?
Do I choose campus housing or off campus?

Your total expenses per academic year is $20,950. The $8k is the payment you'll need to make during orientation and registration.

This journey actually started last year October. US denied me 3 times. Oct 3, Oct 22 and Jan 3 I was placed on administrative processing then finally denied after some weeks.

Ferdimako, I really thank you. You let me develop interest in Canada, so I joined the thread and quickly caught up.

After getting vast experience I decided to apply, which I was denied on May 10, I didn't give up, I re applied a week after my app got refused. I'm glad to let y'all know my Canadian Student VISA has been approved today..

To those who we started this journey together (most now in US) I thank you all.

Hello visa officer, it's good to see you here again. Please if someone got a visa with a university I20 and decided to study in a reputable community college but the community college has refused transfer of SEVIS from the university and insisted the student should get a F-1 visa with their school SEVIS number. Please is it possible to request for a correction of visa so that the community college name will reflect on the visa? Thanks.

If you're looking for computer training schools, you can try NIIT or Aptech.

But if you want Bsc....

Your search should be on schools that offers Computer Science or software Engineering.

Yeah! I agree with you. But he wants to write the waec because he doesn't know what to say to cover up the gap. That means he wants to tell the vo he graduated 2014.

Write the waec if your 2006 result is not good, not because you don't know how to cover up your gaps.

I don't think it will be right to tell the vo he graduated high school 2014 considering his age.

Nope! Your 2006 Waec wont be a problem, you just have to tell the VO what you've been doing since then till now. and make sure you take a standardize test. SAT and IELTS for Undergraduate.

imperiouxx: Well, new people will always be the victims of which embassy to have the interview.

Go to the embassy nearest to your bed....... I always say that.

If denied, it won't take you more than 3 hours (if you're from Lagos) to get back in your bed, sleep to cool off the suicide attempt (for the majority).

If approved, it won't take you more than 3 hours (if you're from Lagos) to get the good news across to your family and friends and begin to shayo.

But all the way to Abuja and at the end you got denied, you will feel like jumping out of the moving vehicle because the journey is too long, boring and you've successfully wasted lot of money.

Best of luck and choose wisely next time.

According to the dictionary, its a document certifying the successful completion of a course of study.

I don't know if it applies to Waec and Testimonial.

But in 9ja, if you say diploma what comes to mind is OND.

To be sure; What exactly is a diploma? Is it the Waec certificate or the testimonial?

To me, it's a 2yrs degree in an higher institution. Dont know if there's any other meaning to it.
