Politics / Re: Soludo, Archbishop Okeke In War Of Words Over Burial Of Priest’s Mother by Graceful101: 11:05pm On Jan 22
SmartPolician:
To be clear: the article mentioned that Governor Soludo didn't enact the law. The governor wanted them to abide by an existing law, which, if we are being honest, is very reasonable. I am just wondering the essence of spending a lot of money to bury people who are dead. Sometimes, with the way the so-called clergy behaves, you begin to wonder if they actually have the spirit of God in them.

These are the same people that usually give crazy terms and conditions to bereaved families before they can participate in funeral rites. Throwing a big party for dead people doesn't send them to heaven. The last time I checked: Catholics believe in praying for the dead so that God can accept their souls, not throwing a big party to impress people.

In my humble opinion, the government have bigger problems on their hands. Telling people how to bury their loved ones is utter rubbish.

You are Igbo but a stwepid one. So, you could not see any truth in that guy's submission? The guy is not saying that the criminal should be exonerated, but the reality in Nigeria is that anything that has to do with Igbos is taken to another level.

You are the biggest fool alive. Keep on making excuses for evil. Hope you will be okay with an igbo kidnapper kidnapping your loved one simply because he is igbo. The evil that you protect will one day bite you in the ass.
Crime / Re: Kaduna Police Hand Over Abuja ‘kidnap Kingpin’ To FCT Command by Graceful101: 4:07pm On Jan 21
Dpharisee:
The way Police has turned this guy's story into a sensational one looks suspicious, Fulanis have been the most active in kidnapping to the point of stopping an Abuja to Kaduna bound train, killing many and abducting others and Buhari govt paid hundreds of millions in ransom after many months of holding them hostage, till date we have not heard the names of any of them.
Hundreds have been killed in Plateau and Benue and till date not a single Fulani name mentioned (just imagine the reaction if we could link any Igbo to the massacres)

Just like Evans Okechukwu which the criminal Police officer Abba Kyari used to gain quick promotion from Supol to Commissioner of Police becoming synonymous with kidnapping in Nigeria the moment we realised that Evans is from the same tribe many of us love to castigate just like this Chinaza; during Evans we ignored every other names of criminals including terrorists from Boko Haram and ISWAP whom we even tagged as "repentant terrorists" and released with benefits.

I have observed that crimes involving Igbos becomes heavily sensationalised in Nigeria (I want to be proved wrong).
Till date the Federal Government has refused to release the names of Boko Haram suspects handed over by United Arab Emirates but our gallant Police in this case has handed over Chinaza from the arresting Inspector to DPO to State command and now to Abuja with every one of them calling a press conference cheesy

Kidnappings in Abuja and elsewhere are now being woven around this one guy, I also noticed that after his arrest he was standing on his feet but during the Police Press parade he was lying down on a stretcher with bullet wounds on his two legs (how come) perhaps as usual they Police will claim that "he was shot whilst trying to escape from Police custody' cheesy

Meanwhile, none of the freed kidnapped victims have told us that they were held captive by Igbo speaking bandits including the 5 sisters released yesterday.

While I hope that Chinaza gets deserved punishment if he's found guilty but I am not moved by Police acting as if they have solved the myriad of kidnapping by bandits across the country with the arrest of Chinaza

I am igbo but with all due respect you are stwepid!! Read what you wrote there and tell me if it makes sense to you? You tribal bigots will always find a way to turn things around. Should a criminal be freed just to make you happy? Are you trying to say that an igbo man can never be a kidnapper? Please check yourself very well.

I was laughing here with ur senselessss statement up there. Who CAN help? He decided not to join CAN due to some reason many of u don't know and I'm not here to explain that. Do you know ISRAEL (historical place of Christian) government begged this man to relocate his ministry to their country? Someone the entire world are celebrating including the Muslim countries you are there talking about CAN.

Stupidityyy of urs won't allow you watch past clips of Bisola and others blasphemers begging TB Joshua to forgive them for being led by the devil in the past. All those blasphemers in BBC documentary have their records in Synagogue archive. Many are been circulated on social media but your hatred won't allow u see it.

Now I understand where u coming from. You indomie generation of nowadays don't have respect. You were born in the mid 90's and u are condemning a man of God that has been in the ministry since 80's, is that not foolishnesssss? Tell me your experience so far in life? U stand somewhere using ur pig brain to judge a man of God. Don't your know u are bring courses to urself? Even if he TB Joshua is diabolic who are u to judge him? Have u checked yourself and know ur relationship with Christ? It seems you don't know how the devil operate. This is the work and gang up from the pit of hell trying to bring down the kingdom advancement in Nigeria and Africa at large. Once they succeed with synagogue who knows there next action. BCC that do not condemn bad leadership, ends SARS killing, election manipulation, kidnapping, banditry and many more in Nigeria are busy tarnishing the work of God. A dead man for that matter. Why can't them release the documentary when he was alive?

A word is enough for the wise

Even while he was alive those people were making their claims. Have you bothered to ask while CAN disassociated themselves from him? Your problem is that you are too quick to insult yet you call yourself a christian.
Not all God of men were called by God you know? Your type encourages evil in the society simply because you have been brainwashed. Tueh! ancestor wey dey senseless.

Not only a MUMU but a baby christian. I'm a winners member since 90's. When I joined the commission then all manner of rumours are being spread about Bishop Oyedepo. Many says he buried live cows to gather crowd and also gain fame. But today where are those people? Now today Bishop Oyedepo is building 100,000 capacity stadium ( The Ark) for the kingdom advancement. TB Joshua is a real prophet take it or leave it. You are not God to judge him. The man has done his assignment and gone to rest. You face your journey and see the end

You said you became a member since 90's. I was born mid 90's and i want to neglect your age and call you a FOOL because you lack wisdom. You are an idiot and mentally challenged. Please cry me a river, i will never reply you again ancestor.

I need no one certification on the things I already know. Hope u know the meaning of blasphemer.

You are the one to keep quiet my brother. Nigeria has witnessed all manner of evil and that is because we always choose to look away from the evil that people commit all because of the eye service that they render.
If not for fear of lives, the number of people that would have come out to tell the evil that they experienced in the hands of your revered prophet will shut your mouth for life.
In this same country we have seen cases of human abattoirs been exposed yet when people question people's source of wealth we attack them. How then do we know those committing all these heinous crimes against humanity?
My prayer is that for everyone that tries to shut people up when they speak their truth, may you all experience the same thing that those victims experienced. Tueh!

There is something definitely wrong with Sim Card. How can a man be so weak that he stands in front of another man "knacking" his lovely wife and just watch and walk away. I use this analogy because it's only a man without balls can act this way. Even though he started this fight too early and didn't wait for Wike to manipulate the Supreme court as usual, he should have fought to the last and free himself from the hands of Wike who will NEVER allow such in his time..
There is excess money in Rivers State. Stone each of these assembly members with 2 Billion naira each in foreign currency and see them dump Wike over night. Get at least 12 to 15 members and you're done. That is how Nigeria politics works. Odili did it, Amaechi did it, Wike did it, unfortunately Omehia was naive in politics and allowed Wike to outsmart him and paid Justices of the Supreme Court their dues which gave Amaechi the governorship position.
After God, Money is it.

You might think you are smart until you find yourself in his sheos. What are my saying? Spectators play football better.

Yes a large percentage of girls that goes missing are due to runs. Just visit any university environment in the evening you will understand what I mean better. Some even took prostitution to the just ended COP28.

Can i tell you my life experience?

There was a time in my life when i was very depressed. I will leave my house to visit a married friend who stays in her husband's village. Everytime i plan to go see this my friend i always leave as early as six in the morning justso that i can get to her house on time and spend quality time with her before coming back.
On one of my visit i entered a keke. I was the first person to enter this keke before i knew it four other guys entered and i was in the middle. The bad thing i did was that i was so engrossed in my phone that i didn't bother to look up and see the faces of people that entered. We journeyed until i felt goosebumps all over my body. The sensation was a strong one.
Mind you i only experience goosebumps when i see something irritating but in this case there was nothing irritating and so i waved it off and continued with my phone. The feeling became stronger and so i looked up and the faces i saw in the keke nearly killed me.
How i got down from that keke is a miracle. It is only the women around that saw what happened that can bear me witness.
My thoughts? What would your kind have said if they had succeeded in killing me? Would you not have sharply concluded that i went to visit a man?

Whenever a girl goes missing I don't usually take it seriously or something of importance, because if you see the risks these girls do take because of money you will weep. How can a girl visit a total stranger she met on a hookup website without disclosing where she is going to anyone? they will rather lie about their destination. Some will leave official motor parks and stand by the roadside waiting for a rich guy to carry them for free. Most girls hate to work, all they know is to depend on men in this times of money ritual. Well let the foolish become wise. Anyway I wish her safe return, of which I even doubt because it's been over a month since she went missing.
You must really hate all women including your mother. Men go missing you know? Every time a lady goes missing you people want to link it to runs why?

Sure ..I'm a script writer too but don't know how or where to sell my script ...😢

I will advice you start by reaching out to film makers. It is not easy though, some of them will want to treat you like you do not matter but once you find that person that believes in you it becomes easier and referrals will start coming from there. Please be strong and make that move.
I just got started myself. If i tell you the first amount i got from my script, you will understand why my mother asked me to quit.

How much do they buy a screen play

No two scripts are the same. In other words the prices varies. A high standard movie can go for 600,000 or more. It is true that no story is novel but there are stories that are very exceptional. Those once can sell for millions. I haven't gotten to that point yet.
The highest i have sold is 600,000. I hope i answered your question.

Learning how to write movie script. I made something good from it last month.
I have always been very creative with stories but i never really considered myself as a writer and so i never bothered myself with script writing. I never wrote a screenplay until my father died 2021 and i couldn't rely on anybody for help. I have always been well taken care of by my father and so i didn't know the skill of begging nor have i ever dreamt of having a man solely for the purpose of taking care of my needs.
My father's death almost left me broke. I contacted a movie director with one of my synopsis. He liked it and asked for the screenplay but i told him that i don't script. I called some other directors and i realised that all of them were ok with my synopsis but because i couldn't script, they wouldn't take my story.
Early this year, i contacted a female movie director. She loved my storyline and asked if i could script and i said yes. I didn't plan on saying yes but i did. She told me a story and asked that i write the screenplay. I started with her but she didn't pay me. I even wrote about my bad experience with the said director on nairaland. She called me for a second job which i did. She paid me a paltry sum for the second job. My mom asked me to stop writing but i refused. I wanted to earn from my skill. She called me for a third job and like the first she refused to pay me and i became very angry and told her never to contact me for a job again.
Later i saw the second movie i wrote for her. She already produced it but i was not given credit for my work.
I contacted one of her friends. This friend of hers pacified me and promised to help me. He linked me up to some other movie makers and i started earning. I am grateful to God for this skill he bestowed upon me. I will never beg for money.
