okefranci: Which problem are you talking about? The problem of amplifying poverty and suffering in the country. In this trying period, how do explain the daily budget of 1.4M naira on food and entertainment when an average Nigerian lives on less than 500 naira daily? If you don't see this as a problem, then, you are either living in self denial or you are among the few benefiting from this government. |

wale2020: I really dont fully agree with your point of view. What can we say about Obasanjo's 8-year rule? was Atiku not part of it? was Atiku not the flag bearer of PDP in 2015?
Osibade in the voice of GMB is a fine politician.. U will agree with me that when he was given oppurtunity when the president was out of the country, he took some bold steps. Lets give this guy a chance... I believe he will deliver as PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA. I also like the former Gov of Anambra state Peter Obi. Fine gentle Man too. I just Pray Nigeria will choose wisely in 2023. Can you exonerate him from the mess created by this government? No, you cannot because he is a major part of this government. Can you equally say he is not benefiting from this unfortunate government when 1.4M naira has been budgeted on food and entertainment daily for him? Every major player in this failed government has failed Nigerians except you want to live in self denial. Because they have failed Nigerians, they should be the least to be considered for the position of the president. |

ItsTutsi: Buhari's presidency is under APC not PDP. So NC have the right to aspire for it I cannot see any difference between the PDP and the APC. Alhaji Baraje clamouring for the North Central once left PDP to the APC before returning to the PDP. During his sojourn in the APC, why did he not call for the North Central presidency ? Like I said earlier, these Northern politicians are capitalizing on the political disunity in the South. |

BigSarah: Each time I see or read people postulate osinbanjo I get confused honestly..
If Nigerians truly want osinbanjo then that means absolutely nothing is wrong with this Buhari's and Osinbajo 8 years of mid-rule. You just hit the nail on the head. How on earth would people be advocating for Osibanjo presidency when he is part of the present government that has increased poverty and suffering in the country? Osibanjo cannot be exonerated from the woes of this government as long as he is benefiting from the government. |

bitbillionaire: I don't support that type of wastage though. Come to think of it, why can't our elected leaders (the president and governors) spend money from their own pocket for food and entertainment? At least, the food and entertainment budget should have reflected frugal appropriations. It is very shameful that some persons, even worse off because of the inhumane policies of this self-serving government, want a principal player and beneficiary of this government of wastage to continue after 2023. This is really sad. |

bitbillionaire:
the op is mischievous. Did you just say 'alarming N508 million'? Common! That's let's than N1 billion, the usual budget for food in aso rock na.
Op where have you been all these while they had been budgeting N1 billion for food and refreshment in aso rock? Should that be the yardstick now? So what is really the difference between the devil and the acclaimed saints who have planned to spend 1.4M naira on food daily? The question is if the money is coming from their personal pockets, would they have budgeted same. Osibanjo's supporters would try as much as possible to downplay this devilish wastage. Those that will manage to condemn it will put all the blame on Buhari. There is certainly a difference between Buhari and Osibanjo. The former does not pretend but the latter does. Infact, it is his stock in trade. |

Meaning they are good in managing things 508M ÷ 365 = 1.4M daily on food. Kindly fear your maker. |
