COdeGenesis: If you dont know and understand what makes up a laptop, how would you repair a faulty one? If as a Governor you do not know your state; the demographics, distribution of wealth, natural resources, tradition and culture, the people and their problems, how would you succeed as a Governor? Where will you start from? It seems you do not understand, the Governor is like the Source, If the Governor doesnt understand the system how will be choose capable hands as commissioners, special assistants? How will he assist the Chairmen and Counsellors if he isnt grounded? You still don't get it. You need to be on ground as a Governor and know what is happening in your state. It is your job as a Governor to set up structures that will drive your agenda to solve the problem of the people. Your examples are very poor ones. When a system becomes complex, one man cannot be Jack of all trades. That is why we have surgeons, engineers and other professioners with people of different areas of expertise. When you say on ground, what do you mean? Ize Iyamu is nothing but a politician. He may not be closer to the people like you believed. If really he is, how has he empowered the people to overcome some of the challenges they are passing through? |

COdeGenesis: My issue here is that if a surgeon doesn't know the body well, how will he successfully operate a patient. Obaseki doesnt even know Edo State, Pastor knows Edo State so well, he knows what the people want. He will do better than Obaseki What then is then is the job of the councillors, chairmen, special assistants and commissioners? Somebody like you will expect the president to know every clan in Nigeria before he can be elected as a president. What a myopic way of reasoning. |

Obaseki doesnt even know Edo State, Pastor knows Edo State so well, he knows what the people want. He will do better than Obaseki How can a surgeon not know the body very well? Then, he is not a surgeon. You question is ill conceived. What we need is not the ancestor of our land who cannot tell us in clear terms how he will make our land good for all of us. In this debate, Ize Iyamu is the ancestor. At least, he should have told us how he intends to achieve his SIMPLE AGENDA else it becomes a beautiful nonsense. |

Miracle1991: how many people have you empower? Btw, this woman is giving free medical retreat to them from her pocket as a civil servant. The present first lady who suppose to empower them, what has she done? Talking about the first lady is another argument. I don't jump from one argument to another. Giving medical retreat is commendable. Having said this, our votes should not be tied to that alone especially when it is only done during campaign in order to win votes. We deserve good governance and our vote should be exchanged for such. |

solmusdesigns: In her capacity as a private citizen she needs not broadcast her empowerment scheme.. just like you the adult behind great2017 moniker as a private citizen you ain't obligated to publicise any good deed you do as a private unelected citizen
But then as a Medical Doctor and a Professor, she has saved countless lives in her hospital, trained many doctors to save lives as a Professor, and since she became a public figure when her husband started campaign she has done Medical outreach on her own testing rural women and kids for free , giving drugs and eye glasses and also building borehole project
. Did she do all that you have mentioned on humanitarian ground? Besides, what has she done differently from a cleaner or a driver that is an employee like her? If she wants us to vote for her, she owes us the obligation to show us why we can trust her and her husband with our votes. Nigeria is in this sorry situation because of people like you who have allowed emotions to becloud logical wisdom. She is paid to train and save lives the same way other persons are paid to work. She is not different from every other employee Must she wait till she needs the votes of Nigeria before she can provide support or help? I cannot be deceived by politicians' gimmick |

Everywhere Ize Iyamu and his wife's campaign train lands always looks like a carnival with happy faces and cheerful people
. Is she serving our interest or her interest? We need someone that will empower Edo people and not this show of funfair |

Yankee101: Let me teach you wisdom, son. Read more books. Study the book of proverbs too in the Bible, no matter your religion.
The 48 Laws of Power
Law 22:
Summary: When you are weaker, never fight for honor's sake; choose surrender instead. Surrender gives you time to recover, time to torment and irritate your conqueror, time to wait for his power to wane. Do not give him the satisfaction of fighting and defeating you – surrender first. Your wisdom is foolishness. You run away because you are weak and not because you want to fight another day. |

A wise man chooses his battles
The sluggishness of the tiger is not a sign of timidity No, you don't run away from a fight because you want to fight another day. Where on earth did you learn that from? You actually have to fight some day when you run away from your fight. |

The Tinubu-Fashola vision for Lagos was a master stroke until ambode with his local government civil service experience came into the show, something am sure both fashola and tinubu regrets till today Master stroke indeed! What vision are you really talking about? A vision that has appropriated the collective good of the people to greedy politicians cannot be serving the interest of the people. Tinubu and Fashola will be receiving the next batch of cars from Lagos State. How many have you and the common man in the streets of Lagos received? |
