Nice 👍 one oga Obi. You need to scrub clean that crusader view the greater majority have held of you. May be you are a good person after all. You see it's not really hard to convince people that you mean well for them. You only need to downplay your own sentiments. ![]() Your fans too are making your case worse as it appears they have sworn to be anything other than civil. |
Nice gesture from the upper legislative chamber. In there we have muslims and christians and others so this is symbolic of humanity. What if they decide to pay usual lip service, for those criticising them? |
May Allahu ta'ala expose the evil minds behind this dastardly acts. We pray for a better understanding and coordination among the militaries and their relationships with the people. It was sad. ![]() |

Politicking has started now o. We can't see 'those' people now when the ground work is being put in place. They will come last minute and want to use mob mentality to win an election. ![]() |
Muslims don't celebrate Christmas because christians designed it at the council of Nicea to celebrate Isah (a.s.) as the son of God who died for their sin on the cross. Hence the red color that covers everywhere during christmas even though it was meant to be his birthday. So the fine line you are trying to blur is that even though we do not celebrate christmas like the christians do on 25th December, the birth of Isah (a.s.) remains a major sign of Allah certainly that deserves to be honoured and there is no removing that. Because of the birth of Isah (a.s.), our own prophet (s.a.w.) was made to come down from the Burak and offer two rakaah in bethlehem during the same Isra and Miraj you referred to. Hadrat Anas bin Malik (ra) narrates that Prophet (s.a.w.) while mentioning his journey of Miraaj said: Jibril (a.s) asked me to get off from Baraak at Bethlehem and told me to say the prayer there, after which he said: Do you know where you have prayed (0 Messenger of Allah)? You prayed at Bethlehem where Isah (a.s) was born. So it would have been in order to honour or celebrate it if the day of birth of prophet Isah (a.s.) is established by Islam. However, owing to the corruption of this birth celebration, muslims were saved from marking it. Generally however, honouring the birth days of prophets whose birth days were established is highly encouraged. Adam (a.s): Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (s.a.w.) as saying: The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created ... Sahih Muslim Book 7, Hadith 26 And it is ordained an eid day for us all muslims It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'This day is an 'Eid (festival) which Allah has ordained for the Muslims... The holy Prophet (s.a.w.) never limited Eid in Islam to just two days, as someone mentioned here. Similarly, as an important sign of Allah in Islam, the night of Isra and miraj should be honoured as well. The core principle is honouring such days/nights. We should encourage one another to honour and commemorate them with extra worship (e.g. fast, nafil or alms giving) rather than antagonizing them. Observing the limits is what is key so as to not allow sinful practices. But antagonizing and attacking the people who make effort to commemorate these days with some form of goodnesses is in itself anti Islamic. This core principle is established from the hadith of the holy Prophet (s.a.w.) Ibn Abbas "Allah be pleased with him" reported: The Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) came to Madina and saw the Jews fasting on the tenth day of Muharram. They were asked about that. They replied: "This is the day, on which Allah made Moses and the children of Israel emerge victorious over Pharoah. So, we fast on it "OUT OF GLORIFICATION TO IT". The Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "We have more claim over Moses than you." So, he ordered Muslims to fast on it. - In Sahih Muslim What is in focus here is the basis for doing the action: that is, a major sign of Allah occurred and the holy Prophet (s.a.w.) approved the marking and commemoration of it. Mawlid: So if the holy Prophet (s.a.w.) did not do it and some muslims did not do it, then what? |

beardedboy:Command? Must it be about commanded? Here it is about being enjoined, encouraged, prompted to honor the signs of Allah. The evidence is also there. ...And whoever honors the sacred ordinances of Allah, it is best for him in the sight of his Lord. the holy Quran 22 30 So as we all know some things are enjoined and encouraged. And because extra efforts is required to do them, the rewards are huge. And that's what we saw in the earlier quote. ... Whoever respects the sign of Allah, this is surely the outcome of the piety of their hearts. the holy Quran 22:32 Therefore these muslims that got bombed (mistakenly) were honouring the birth of the holy Prophet (s.a.w), the greatest among the signs of Allah. beardedboy:You are arguing without presenting any counter evidence or proof so far but you want to be sounding larger than life. |
beardedboy:Lol the onus lies on you to provide counter evidences or some explanations as to why you disagree with the given verses of the holy Quran as not proofs. You haven't. |
beardedboy:How is that not proof? |
May Allah accept them unconditionally for meeting their death at the point of showing love for the holy Prophet (s.a.w.) |

May Allahu ta'ala seal this love of theirs for the holy prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) as a testament to their faith. Ameen. ... Whoever respects the sign of Allah, this is surely the outcome of the piety of their hearts. Quran 22:23 No sign of Allah is greater than the birth of the holy prophet Muhammad (saw). |

Compared to other religions, a muslim is equivalent to their prophets...because you (muslims) uphold what is right and condemn what is evil - the holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.). Look at the Pope, the head of the christian church, raising his glass to celebrate with gays and lesbians, falling short of preaching to them about their wrong ways and where it will lead them before God Almighty. What a shame! The godless Zionists have already captured Christianity and now dictates to it. The triumph of evil over goodness will never happen over Islam no matter in whatever complexion it appears. |
Any government that is able to control the fx market in Nigeria would have solved more than half of the country's problems. But I doubt if any government is going to be able to achieve that based on how deeply entrenched the parallel market is. I'm scared any policy to stifle the operators might end up having the reverse effect. ![]() |

Holy Qur'an Sura 2 verse 190-191: Fight in the cause of Allah ˹only˺ against those who wage war against you, but do not exceed the limits.1 Allah does not like transgressors. Kill them wherever you come upon them and drive them out of the places from which they have driven you out. For persecution2 is far worse than killing. And do not fight them at the Sacred Mosque unless they attack you there. If they do so, then fight them—that is the reward of the disbelievers. Tafsir: ...those who fight you) applies only to fighting the enemies who are engaged in fighting Islam and its people. So the Ayah means, `Fight those who fight you', ... (And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out.) meaning, `Your energy should be spent on fighting them, just as their energy is spent on fighting you, and on expelling them from the areas from which they have expelled you, as a law of equality in punishment.'... -Ibn Kathir The command in this verse is that Muslims should fight only those disbelievers who come to fight against them. It means that there are other people too who do not take part in fighting, such as, the women, the children, the very old, the priests and monks and others devoting themselves to quiet religious pursuits, and the physically handicapped, and those casual labourers who work for disbelievers and do not go to fight along with them; it is not permissible to kill such people in a Jihad... -Ma'ariful Qur'an Truth is that Islam has clearly established itself against extremism, no matter how anyone tries to paint it. |
Holy Qur'an sura 46 verse 9 Say, "I am not something original among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am not but a clear warner." - Sahih International Tafsir: The sentence, "I do not follow anything but what is revealed to me," has been used here as an 'exception' to the previous sentence, meaning thereby that I do not know anything except what is revealed to me through wahy..." - Ma'ariful Qur'an In order words: ... Except what is revealed to me, I don't know what will be done with me or with you... So the question is why would someone conveniently omit the essential part 'except' that presents the context of usage even if he/she want to present the verse in a redacted form? ![]() |
Wait a minute, I don't get the logic here: So he was Atiku all along. Then on the eve of WAEC exams he realised he should be bearing Siddiq. Then he passed his WAEC exams. Afterwards, he swore an affidavit that he is the same Atiku as before and should be addressed as Atiku once again. And to think that he mentioned Sadiq this time when told to explain himself. I don't understand the logic elder states man Edwin Clark is trying to make me believe that Engr Odoh who was reportedly responsible for the destruction of the PortHarcourt refinery and which Gen. Murtala Muhammed clearly alluded to be rewarded with becoming NNPC MD in the spirit of welcoming back after 5 years. It is like saying that we should make Chinasa Michael commissioner for transportation after 5 years for torching the BRT buses in Lagos, in the spirit of maintaining inclusion. I mean couldn't someone from the same region without a history of violence be considered for that position. Based on this elder states man Edwin Clark is not making sense at all. He should have been acting more responsibly than trying to deepen sentiments. ![]() |
