A nice move that could douse these never ending tendencies to protest is if the government grant workers access to a certain percentage of their pension funds via a special intervention window as a means to alleviate the current economic situation besides the existing one-off off-job window which many people have exhausted already. ![]() |
Unlimitedwords:Sorry o, is that not fraud? Please someone help me explain. |
The biggest losers in the advent of a coup in Nigeria today are the political opponents of this government. They will never have the chance to even dream of that position again ever. It is the collective responsibility of every Nigerian to defend democracy and let these expired old men know that they have no worth anymore because they are the ones who actually failed us when they had the chance to make impacts. Meanwhile "Naira is falling, Naira is falling", is it the fault of the present government? Every sincere person who is current with the state of affairs knew six months ahead of the commencement of the present government that the Naira was going to fall and that its true value would be around N1500 to USD1. What the previous government was doing was simply papering over cracked walls repainting N500 to look like the old N200 and N200 to look like the old N100 etc to prepare everyone for the coming devaluation. There was no way out. The country had been bled and was shutting down from the evil of subsidising forex we didn't have enough of. We were in a vortex to self destruct and someone needed to take the hard decision. It may be tough starting but the developmental projects once they start kicking in will assuage much of these negative feelings. Finally, may I let you know that most of these people who want the present government to go down only play on the peoples' interest while in reality they harbour their own hidden agenda (political, regional, tribal or whatever). Read between their lines. ![]() |
Otti had better be proactive henceforth else the Army steps in, sends him to Abuja and takes over the administration of the state until total and enduring peace is restored to the state. ![]() |
Dino was about to jump out of his skin. Had to compose himself so that GYB will not yab him. ![]() |
I hope she doesn't end up falling in love with the camera more than she claims to be passionate about her job. ![]() |
Her journey to becoming an outright rebel is progressing fine. Her evil intentions were clear to discerning minds in her days of foolish activism and opposition politics. Nonsense. ![]() |
Nice one gov. Though I expected better from him, something proactive. Make e no go learn the hard way, lol. ![]() |
The governor (Otti) should watch it. He gave too much leeway to these outlawed members of the society. Does he need to be reminded that the military can topple even the federal government? ![]() |
According to Righteousness, it is not a mistake. It is a divine injunction that must be fulfilled. He is happy and according to him also his lord and personal saviour is well pleased. ![]() |
Furthermore, the two individuals already arrested have been handed over to the headquarters of the Nigerian Army Corps of Military Police for further action.Omoh! This further action go tell for body . ![]() |
AbujaCitiBlog:This is all shades of wrong and I don't think many Ebira people will agree with you on this despite the political rivalry between the two major tribes in the state. It has always been a case of superior politicking and manoeuvres and has never been about tribal profiling. ![]() |
The agents are the ones in the market. Ask them why property prices around an area is on a steady rise and the charges in double percentages and they will tell you: oga, yahoo boys go pay if you no wan pay. Then, truly, any small delay and the property is gone and you are confronted with a new price regime. Crazy! ![]() |
It's nice to find out that the government followed through on this one. ![]() |

guass:Spain has a fairly large population of Muslims and they even boast of some towering Islamic figures and saints. It is not everything that you view through boko haram lenses which is the only thing NL narrators push about Islam. Pele! ![]() |
Ah! Thank God o, make oil windfall happen, make government no touch our pension please. ![]() |
Nice one. I had personally criticized him for targeting CNG project at the masses only citing its less performant nature as a luxury that the people in the ruling class would not want to forfeit. Up Jagaban! ![]() |
That's massive. More than three times the total reserve in Africa, including Libya's and Nigeria's vast reserves. A huge factor for a shift in international politics. ![]() |
Unrest in the hinterlands and unrest within the city. How will the common man cope with all these in order to enjoy life decently? ![]() |
While he was still at the psychedelic stage of schizophrenia lol ![]() |
The Naira exchange rate also crashed by double going from about 125 to over 250 to a dollar even when we had more oil sales during his tenure. People tend to judge APC unfairly imho. ![]() |
Sinning pastor admits that he is not qualified to be classed as human. Na wa o! ![]() |
I hope this will not take on a manipulative scheme by corrupt officials. Move them to band A when their credit is on red so that they will earn few credits on recharging. Then move them to band C or D days on unnoticed while the new credit remains unchanged. I hope not o. ![]() |
This is the real deal for the Nigerian economy. People in the know use to say that leading automobile companies from around the world would be begging to setup production plants in Nigeria if this complex becomes truly functional. This is for non articulated vehicles alone. But because the complex is located in a politically disadvantages state, no politician has managed to garner enough clout to get the government pull it off. ![]() |
Infrastructure bandit! ![]() |
When you sense that spending your hard earned money is becoming a struggle by itself, change your priorities immediately. Spend it on something else. ![]() |
When honour has gone to the dogs, what do you expect? A receiver of national honours prostrating to a smuggler simply because he has money. She will forever remain classless and will long for that moment to repeat itself again but shall never find it having chosen to disrespect a sitting president, a man who if for nothing else is almost twice the age of her father. Is that also an omoluabi behaviour? Nonsense. ![]() |
Thanks dear prof. Deal with Yahaya Bello however you want, but follow the rule of law. Simple. ![]() |
Politically speaking, they secured the middle-belt for APC leaving nothing else to breathe around there. I hope APC will be able to sustain that tempo going into the next dispensation. Interesting times lie ahead. ![]() |
Na wa o! A country will just wake up and threaten a world body and it will appear like nothing is amiss. ![]() |
It is crass mediocrity flogging an essential services worker. How can people at this level of civilisation think they can have a good government? ![]() |
