"Ma yakin mu a daji" - Gumi Our foot soldiers in the forest. |
Scholars have proven that the holy Prophet (s.a.w.) did not marry a nine year old girl (or even of lesser age as also insinuated). It is most probably a genuine scholarly error of recording by recorders hundreds of years later, geographies away, that could have been responsible for this likely misinformation. These recordings, though highly trustworthy, are not ordained books of Islam and therefore still reserve a margin of error, no matter how small, getting in on them. The only ordained book of Islam is the holy Qur'an. If the holy prophet (s.a.w.) had married a nine year old girl, it could have been a common practice among his immediate circle who are quick to establish upon his practices. This was however not the case as his immediate circle were not found to be in this practice. It is true that early marriage is encouraged in Islam, and the example was shown by the holy prophet (s.a.w.) when he gave his own daughter in marriage at age 19. This is the example most followed by muslims. If he had taken someone else's daughter at 9, he would have given out his at 9 also. If you were wondering why Sadio Mane married his wife at 19, of which we were here to congratulate him only recently, this was the example that he followed. One of such facts shared by scholars was that historically Aisha (r.a.) could not have been a 9 year old at the time of her marriage having participated in the first battle as a paramilitary nurse, which was before she got married. The holy prophet does not accept children in military expeditions in his army (men, let alone women). Please do not allow frustrated people who do not have standards in their own lives misguide you on a faceless forum to earn the wrath of God on your own lives. God is not an unjust God. First He makes you understand your errors. However, if you continue in your heinous ways, then be ready for His punishments as well, which is sure to come if you continue in your heedlessness of maligning the best of creation, Muhammad al Mustapha (s.a.w). |
State police never start and we are already here. I hope he is not complicit in terrorism though. ![]() |

olisaEze:Mansa Musa is a muslim who used to perform the hajj pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina and so could not have been biblical. |
It is not in the inner mind of most people who snub others in greetings, holding conversations or chatting, to act that way. You'll do well by helping them to come out of their shells, because most of them truly appreciate your warmness. Believe me! ![]() |
May your plans to rebuild Nigeria succeed. Amen |

I believe him. The pattern can be observed on nairaland too. ![]() |
How come it is mostly the people who are claiming to not be affected by the current economic situation that are posting incessantly about the hunger in the land? What paradox? ![]() |
Sincerely, is BAT really the problem of Nigeria? ![]() |

Reading through this thread clearly established that the word 'aza' has etymological origin and usages from among the Benin/Edo people. Contributors have shown various examples of this from time immemorial. However, no such etymological usage can be found with the Igbo people. This was established by @KosiGee. Since etymology is the father of dictionary, it could not probably have been a word of Igbo origin simply because someone decided to type it in there only fairly recently. I have come to learn a thing or two from these Benin people when they lay claim to something: they are always very foundational. imho. ![]() |
the CBN sold the dollars at a rate as low as N1490 per dollarDid I just read 'as low as'...And the banks are still going to add their own margins in order to sell to buyers? Anyway, let the recovery plans begin at least. May God bless your efforts as you begin to set things aright dear Jagaban. |
1 xof = 2.5 naira More than double value for same quantity (or lesser) of export supply. |
The implications of the new VAR assisted rules need to be explained to the people thoroughly in that happiness can turn to gloom within a moment and vice versa. ![]() |
I hope it works but honestly it's a tried and failed approach. People will find new ways to ferry in dollars and they'll become the cash-out merchants of a new market force. |
She should be picked up asap. This is not how to play opposition politics. Her inordinate desire to stay relevant in the public space has made her forget that you can't both be an opposition and an activist at the same time. Once you play opposition politics and you loose in an open contest, you have lost your honour as an activist. But blatant desire to stay relevant in the media won't allow her stay in one place. |
The idea that petrol subsidies had to go because they were riddled with corruption and that they consumed a disproportionate share of our national budget is a mere propagandistic cop-out...I don't agree with above because is it not because of the same subsidy cabal that after the federal government had settled them subsidy money for importing and distributing fuel would then need to borrow money to pay staff salaries? This was common knowledge oga Kperogi. |
A vaccine with only 13% success rate or a speculated 36% success rate, at most, at infancy and you are rolling out across many African countries without consideration for what becomes of these recipients in a decade or couple more thereabout when they would have become adults or adolescent. This is an purely an experiment on African children and may even come with a hidden agenda. It's a pity aids/loans we receive for economic survival have rendered us so silent as not to be able to ask probing questions anymore. ![]() |
The First category: A prohibited intercession, which is not permitted. The zenith of exercising of authority is by Allahu ta'ala on the day of Judgement. Islam has thought us that the holy Propeht (s.a.w.) other prophets (a.s.) and pious people (r.a.) will be permitted by Allah to intercede for others, who are not qualified because all they have of goodness fall short, on that day. So people who are hell bound or who would have otherwise been in hell will be forgiven and given paradise instead. So I am not really understanding how you want me to fit your above conclusion in my head with respect to these occurrences that will happen on the day of Judgement. |
Are we being prepped to accept that even if Dangote refinery goes full steam ahead it may not have so great an impact on economic recovery because the core issue here is the crude oil itself which had been sold in advance to acquire loans? Serious!!! ![]() |
If that is true, then get ready to welcome the new big boys in town. It's going to be a very lucrative outfit. ![]() |
Chai!!! Na so dem wan take package am? "insect-resistant and drought-tolerant" But no longer organic! Worse still, Nigeria with lax systems all over the place, everything will be mixed together in the market place and we may not even have the benefit of making a choice. Na wa o. ![]() |

Like for years the American intelligence and media harassed our brains until we accepted and agreed that Sadam Hosein has built weapons of mass destruction only for the story to change in the end as no wmd was found eventually. Only the target was sacrificed. |
Jaxefij:Righteousness can never understand what you mean let alone his likers whom he has kept in a bubble and consistently fed with innuendoes as long as he is able to throw in an anti Islam sentiment in every writing and not realising that the real truth is buried deep among the very same people he hates. I have never seen anyone more misguided than him. |
Is this how the rebbe prophecy is going to hit the rocks? NLers who love Netanyahu more than the Jews themselves over to you. ![]() |
