Happy Birthday, wish you heaven's ravishing beauty and joy wish long life and good health.
For your sleep issue, you may not have much issue, Firstly, i think you should reduce your stress level.
Do physical exercise in the evening, not very close to your sleeping time.
You must discipline yourself to avoid using your mobile phone at night, especially when your room is not properly lighted, avoid long chatting at night, and also TV or PC.
Try and sleep early, possibly do not exceed 9pm before going to bed.
Avoid thinking too much, try and reduce anxiety and too many expectations in your life. I know say Nigeria hard.
Eat early enough, and take less water at night to prevent you from been prompted to urinate.
Avoid using medications to induce sleep, you might become so dependent on it. Not so good.
When i was quite younger garri and pear (not avocado pear) used to help me sleep, u soak together, u can try too for a short time, don't depend on it.
I believe these would help, good luck. |

Is it now a competition of counting kills by doctors? Can you even listen to yourself?
Only a very very DUMB person would believe doctors are above criticism.
During the COVID era, people like me risked our lives by providing safety and security for doctors to go to work
Others who do more important work than doctors are not even getting the 3k hazard allowance.
No one is forcing any doctor to go to work and any doctor that is useless should resign instead of killing people he is meant to save
All useless doctors should be sacked immediately and that includes you if you are a useless doctor.
Which of the security department are you? Just read through properly, who said its a competition to count people doctors kill, is that the point here?..... Nigeria is where it is today because we hide the truth, all around the developed world there 3 very respected profession Health, Security and Teachers....they are well paid.....Here in Nigeria how much does a soldier earn, or a police or civil defence, how much.....compare the difference with what your political holders earn. Whether you like it on not, Doctors remain important and essential, they should be taken care of and other sectors as well which include the military. That's how you people praised Ngige who was a minister of labour that said doctor can leave the country if they like that Nigeria had enough doctors, they actually started leaving in drove una begin complain. No, What's your profession? What's the ratio of people doctor save to what they kill? nairalanda1: No it hasn't.
Military rule has been just as bad , and in some instances even worse than democratic rule here.
You don't have to agree with me, and I myself don't like our current political system, regardless of the party, but at least we have choices that we never had under army rule
Also, at the end, we have had the same corruption and looting under army rule that we do under civilian rule. The soldiers take over where the civilians stop.
If you want a better democratic system, we have to get up and do the hard work of participation. No democracy is born perfect. It is always a work in progress
And if we want prosperity we have to develop an industrial economy that exports. Army rule never did that, nor did civilian rule. A coup would just change the nature of the oppressors. It's at the end, still the same mess. You actually think you have choice in your democracy compared to military... let's reason it, your current crop of politicians are same recycled people who would always use power and stolen money to hold power. In Nigeria can someone without money and connection win a primary not to talk of the main election. We are always forced to choose between rubbish always, which is basically selection....circle of cronies n friends ruling......so how's that better than a military govt. A democratic govt that tells it's citizens to ride on bicycles but allocate billions for themselves to acquire bullet proof cars..... |

simplesearch: Very useless advice none should listen to or accept. In life You always get your complementary half, meaning you can't be deceitful, promiscuous, cunning, and expect to get the opposite by chance if such does exist. There are women who will choose never to get marry again after the death of their husband. There are also many who serves as breadwinner for their homes when the going became tough for the man without blowing a trumpet. If you get marry to an ex-hooker, bisexual, serial fornicator or even a leabian or a godless fellow and except to have a good and sincere partner; you're joikng. I don't totally agree with u on this, some of the so called serial fornicator et al. Like u highlighted became best wives and the so called Holy women worse wives, there's no "cast in stone" definition of what would make a good wife...... while we try not to generalize, a man can finance a woman through school, take care of her every need and family for years without d woman working, nobody would hear of it, d moment d man gets indisposed and same woman starts financing the home for just 4 months, the whole world would know..most women behave like this. |

Need i remind you a trader will pay shop rent, pay transport to his/her shop, pay sales gurl/boy, pay his house rent and feed all that expenditure is on a dwindling turnover Salary earner whether oga sell or no sell you go collect salary at month end, you have zeros worries about your office expenditure na the owner headache, If you guyz own a business you won't argue the way una dey argue You are right, but also note that the person that pay you that salary is also a business man or woman.....so loss of jobs might become imminent....thereby adding more frustration, wahala everywhere |

chidiokay: And majority of hausas and yorubas are beggars the igbos feed and cloth abi .. In an hyper inflation economic people who suffer the most are traders cos of eminent low sales, scale of preference and opportunity cost will be the order of the day. Consumers will not only cut down on there consumption, they will prioritized only essential goods, so it going to affect most traders not into essential commodity whether igbo, yoruba or hausa ...let me widen your horizon bro.
With the current economic situation, traders turnover is most likely to drop than increase while monthly pay is prone to remain constant or increase. business life span is not as durable as human, onces business is not making regular turnover naa close down, but salary earners will survive even economic melt underground sef. na lean dem go lean
Economic hardship knows no tribe, we all go to the same market, emeka selling motor part will eat meat/fish, mama chukwudi selling okrikra cloth children will go to school, chinedu selling phone accessories in computer village will pay shop rent, Nnamdi will need kazeem mechanic to fix his highlander ...
As you exploit customers in your business, you also will be a customer somewhere and they will exploit you tew ... its a circle we all are in it. stop fooling yourselves. While you have a point, i don't totally agree, they are essential goods traders or business people, those would sustain well, salary earners are mostly hit, transportation currently has doubled, by this coming week, food and other essential products would likely double or triple, so, me that earn 100k and spend 30k on transport previously would now be spending 60k, also if i spend 20k on feeding, then it becomes 40k, the 100k salary is gone...also if u had savings of 500k, its value would be halved.....also note that while Businesses are affected like you stated, salary cannot be increased up to 200% ( or double), so, now, who would suffer most?....so business may have to lay off staffs to survive. Cost of running business should have doubled or even tripled....so salary worker would be on the receiving end more.....I learnt water is about to increase, would you now stop drinking water or eating food? The president wasn't wise and too hasty....alot should have been made available. At this point our borders need to be opened if that would help reduce prices of essential products especially food, let there be over supply. The coming weeks would be very tough, all of us writing in support of this removal and discouraging a protest would begin to feel the pain, the government needs to provide a cushion, and trust me, if this Govt doesn't get the heat they won't act. |

Politics › Re: Benin Republic Citizens Bemoan Fuel Subsidy Removal, Nigerians React by Greenfusion: 5:40pm On Jun 02, 2023 |
nairalanda1: Fuel in Benin is N489 right now.
And right now, fuel in Nigeria is N488-540 per liter.
At the end of the day, smugglers cannot make a profit at all. Removing subsidy has made it difficult for anyone to smuggle fuel across the border.
And people ask me why I say subsidy must go...well here is one good reason.
Modified
If fuel was still N195, and I was living on the border, I can buy fuel into two 50l jerrycans, at N19500, cross the broder and sell it at dobule the price, and earn a cool N40000. Note that it was not only big cabals involved in the smuggling...it was also small poor boys and gals too. Your analysis doesn't add up, smuggle fuel or not, fuel is mot scarce in Nigeria, i don't think that's the issue here...how many persons live on the border? Ordinarily, fuel subsidy doesn't make sense, why are the refineries not working, this is because people are benefing from it. Now NNPC says even with Dangote refinery, price would not drop, you claim to deregulate something, yet you still control the price. What do Nigerians actually benefit from their Govt and oil they have? Nothing, yet they make them suffer alot. Nigerians have suffer too much for nothing.....the previous APC stooge promised fixing the refineries, yet no success, the present is promising same...audio promises. |
