dragnet: does it show the initial hp or compact display screen ?

No it dosn't. It is totally blank when booted but the power button light do blink continually.

My compaq presario cq56 screen is blank anytime I boot it on. What could be the cause and possible remedy pls?

This also happened to me in akure on my way to osogbo where I serve. Itwas God that saved me thatday if not I would have been telling a sad story. Please let us inform our friends and relatives cos these men use almost the same script every where.
