Whats code 20 in the manual? Is it the ac or solar or both that wasnt charging the battery? Did u use breakers/spds in installing it? Sorry I'm having to ask this questions and takin u back to the hurt it caused
I've moved on from that Inverter, I just want to get another one with better quality.
Who can suggest a better 24v inverter, I don't even want it to be hybrid.

What happened to the smk? What was the setup like with it in terms of protective devices/panels seeing as its just the inverter that got bad and needs replacement from ur submission. That wud help in advising u further.
Started showing code 20 on the display and wouldn't charge the battery.

Panels
Inverter (standalone)
Charge controller (I'm not a fan hybrid system)
AC n DC cables
Earth rod
MCB SPD n DB
Panel rack
Could you give an estimate and breakdown of what this would cost, more specifically the inverter, cc and panels?

Hey Guys

I'm planning to set up a solar power system to charge two 24V, 150Ah batteries during 8 hours of sunshine.
I intend to use a 24V hybrid inverter. I tried SMK but it packed up in months.
Can you suggest the specific components I'll need to buy, along with their ratings, to achieve this?

So I took the covid vaccine(pfizer) on March 16th, 2022, and my life has been a living hell, I've been plagued by different symptoms but the most noticeable is extreme fatigue, I get so tired that all I want to do is sleep. I also experienced brain fog and various headaches, heart palpitations, shivering at night and all but surprisingly after one month I magically felt better. I went to the hospital to carryout a full blood scan and test for STDs and I came out clean. I relocated to Europe(that was why I even got the vaccine in the first place because normally nothing concern me with that poison and whats hurts even more is that I could have easily bought the covid certificate from the back doors at the airport), and after having some ice-cream and eating some of their food it triggered a relapse and I'm back with extreme fatigue and same old symptoms.

From my research this doesn't happen to everyone who took the vaccine(e dey pain me say my case different) and there is no known cure for the issue just like normal covid.

It just sucks that I'm not able to be as energetic as I was before the vaccine. Its really tough for me right now. The vaccine basically injured me.

I'm hopeful/praying that the body will eventually fight it off or some type of fix would be discovered. Hopefully your case doesn't get worse than it already is.

Hi Guys

So the SMK hybrid 3kva inverter installed at home have developed some weird charging patterns, this started after the main fuse in my junction box burnt. Ive since replaced it but right now when I connect the inverter to mains it starts charging from the set charging current of 25a, but after some 20mins this charging current would weirdly start dropping to 0a even though the battery hasn't gotten enough charge to warrant this current reduction. The typical pattern would be that it'd continuously maintain the set current till the battery has gotten to some 90%+.

Please how do I approach this? my hypothesis is that the inbuilt charging unit is broken but I cannot explain this.

Sir, can the Century 2kva wall stabilizer conveniently power my 1.5hp AC as claimed? My AC has an Input rating of 980w and a Max input of 1100w.
Give enough room for starting power and go for 3kva.

My I run two(and inverter and copper) 1.5hp AC on my 3kva kva inverter and it works.

If OP can charge the 2 packs separately with a 24v charger things may work. After getting the 2 batteries to thesame SoC, you will need to lower your max charge voltage so the battery with higher voltage does not run into error and raise your LVD so that the lower voltage battery is not overdrained. All these if your inverter has flexible config.

Best bet long term is to switch to a 24v inverter or buy 2 units 24v smart chargers so that each battery pack can charge to full as/at 24v - in this scenario you set the 48v inverter max charge voltage at a level below what the 24v chargers will be doing so that the chargers finish the charge process and not the inverter.

All in all this is a case of subpar design from the get-go. I wish the OP luck sorting this one out. For BMSs to work well in series, they will need comms between them.

Omo, I ain't about to do all these DIY shiiiii, I'll call the installer to come replace these batteries with a 48v pack and pay the difference, I guess he doesn't know how inefficient series charging them would be.

The true capacity of your blue carbon is actually 24v 130ah not 150 ah as advertised. The voltage difference of 0.4 is expected because the batteries have separate BMS controlling the charging profile. You need to actually let us know the run time VI's a VI's your load for us to actually advise better but be not deceived,if I remove losses and efficiency, your batteries are actually 24v 100ah usable capacity!!!

Seems someone on the internet has done this test, and it corroborates your point.

Satellite TV Technology / Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by guente02(m): 10:45am On Dec 16, 2021
some lithium BMS don't like being in series, and some manufacturers strongly warn against this.
Yeah, the manual suggests so but also contradicts itself about it at the same time.

3rdly, I would recommend, you find a way of individually charging both packs full...to 95% to 100%....then reconnecting them back.
I'll try this out.

any idea of what BMS is inside the pack?.. can you communicate with the BMS to see cell level status/information about individual cells
No idea whatsoever and there is no external connectivity to the BMS, a letdown for a 360k battery.

About the advise you want to give me, you can still advice me woth hypotheticals. I'll get a volt meter with shunt to do capacity testing, that should give me some numbers around runtime and capacity.
I'm more concerned about the fact that both batteries might not be charging at the same time optimally. The difference in voltage increases drastically to the extent of shutting down the inverter while one of the batteries still got more juice. I complained to the installer and he came to add o battery equaliser but I'm yet to see both batteries consistently having a volt differential in micro volts.

You'd have to state your load and current run time
My load maxes out at 2.5kw but that barely runs on the battery since the inverter bypasses. The load I use on battery power maxes out at 500w. For runtime I haven't actually done a test for that but ita generally can take me over a day if my load in under 200w.

Hello house.

So i got 2x 24v 150ah blue carbon lifepo4 batteries both connected in series to my 48v 5kva hybrid inverter. The problem now is that it seems that one of the batteries depletes fast than the other, I'm getting a voltage difference of up to 0.4v. I reached out to my installer and he came and hooked up one active battery balancer like but its doubt its doing a good job of keeping packs balanced.

To the experienced guys in the room, how do I fix this issue? The setup is still brand new and if this persist, I plan calling the installer to get me a replacement because I suspect both batteries aint got the same capacity.

Cheers

Finally joined y'all community.

My on-grid inverter setup.
1. 5KVA Glory M5000 HHS-48 Inverter
2. 2 24v Lithium-ion battery connected in series outputting 3.6kwh

I'm using this to power my 2400watts(running) load. The load comprises of
1. 1.5hp Hisense Inverter AC
2. 1.5hp Copper Inverter AC
3. 32inch LG Desktop Monitor
4. 1 MBP Laptop
5. 1 8kg Hisense WM
6. 1 215L LG Fridge
7. 1 standing fan

I plan on add 2 more battery by the new year to increase capacity.
I'd add panels when I move out of this apartment but for now IKDC stay taking me to the cleaners with their bills I'd be incurring charging this batteries.

Nope. Once your tracking number spots anything aside the alphabets "NG", it's handled by NIPOST upon entry to Nigeria.

In fact, NIPOST is already eroding into Speedaf's space sef as they apparently highjack "NG" parcels. Once that happens, the parcel is subjected to the same prolonged imprisonment that other shopping like SG, HK, AU, etc etc suffers.
Damn...Guess I'm in for it.
Thanks.
