EducationRe: Adepelumi Adekunle: Akure ‘Explosion’ Was Impact From Meteors Not Explosives by Guestlander: 7:46pm On Mar 29, 2020
Daum:
Pictures from the drone posted here on this forum showed destroyed buildings. Infact one roof was blown away and several buildings destroyed. I am not a bomb expert neither am I a geologist but I have questions.
The crater that deep should come from a force at a very high speed at an angle at the same time I don't know if a meteor has enough power to shatter surrounding buildings like that. If it was a bomb carrying vehicle also, then there should be parts of it scattered around and casualties.

The police report doesn't make any sense at all. It just leaves me more confused
A meteorite can cause even much more damage but that doesn't mean this was indeed a meteorite. I am just amazed that something like this can happen near a very populated area and we have no idea what happened.

When all of you were indoors I was outside sky looking - find attached possible evidence to support the prof- the big one is the moon the smaller the meteor
You were outside looking at the sky? If a meteorite is entering the earth's atmosphere wouldn't it have a trail like a comet?

So there was no truck conveying some explosive materials! This is precisely why Nigerians don't trust their government. From truck to meteorite, before the end of the week some will tell us it was a missile from some unnamed enemy.

Are they not health workers? They're supposed to be brave. If every other health workers act like them, we are finished.
It's not about bravery, it's about having the right equipment to deal with the cases. If they are exposed they will be infected as well and things will get more severe.

CanadaOrBust:
Not only that a China is lying. Solid circumstantial evidence suggests they lost about 8 million people to the virus. Which is not much considering their overpopulation (1.5billion) - they used it as a means of population control!
You are lying, stop writing nonsense. 8 million ko, 1 billion ni.

But they are not living in Yoruba land, they live in lagos
True, it is Biafra land. In fact, the entire Lagos was carved out of iboland and towed to it's current location by some powerful and hairy chested men from the east.

HealthRe: Bala Mohammed Tests Positive For COVID-19 by Guestlander: 5:30pm On Mar 24, 2020
It is very sad to know that we could have prevented this from ever spreading in Nigeria. We had at least a month to prepare yet we did nothing. I am worried Africa will come to define this epidemic. If nothing is done urgently while other countries are losing thousands we could end up losing millions.

winkWho visits police station for social reasons? The police should instead practice social distancing by not collecting any bribes at this crucial time. Naira notes to police transmission of the virus is quite possible.
