It is very sad to know that we could have prevented this from ever spreading in Nigeria. We had at least a month to prepare yet we did nothing. I am worried Africa will come to define this epidemic. If nothing is done urgently while other countries are losing thousands we could end up losing millions.

It will surely disappear but that doesn't mean you shouldn't take precautions, and aggressively work towards eliminating it.

Who visits police station for social reasons? The police should instead practice social distancing by not collecting any bribes at this crucial time. Naira notes to police transmission of the virus is quite possible.

Nonsense. China was more aggressive than any other country in stopping the virus. People were arrested and forcibly confined, apartment buildings welded shut.
Before Corona, there was SARS, Bird flu, Ebola etc. These things happen, all you have to do is be prepared.
