Stingman: So people in other regions would now depend on Abuja and Lagos...all FG developed..? Mind you Nigeria was founded on the tripod of North, West and East... The problem is with how Nigeria is structured. Yorubas did not create the problem. In fact, it was an iboman who started it. The three regions on which Nigeria was founded did not go cap in hand to Lagos to beg for money. Each region made their own money and developed at its own pace. That was until Nzeogwu and Ironsi and you know the rest. |

Stingman: Maybe you are holed in the failed Nigeria...
There is very little difference between cities, where I live...even in US...there is little difference between New York, Chicago and far away from Dallas...Unlike Nigeria where its either Abuja or Lagos...all FG developed... Of course, there's a very little difference between Detroit and New York. There's a little difference between Baltimore and Chicago, there's a little difference between New Jersey and Dallas. I want you to go and tell people in Detroit or Baltimore that the difference between their city and Los Angeles or Dallas is little. Not to mention the US hintertland which sometimes look like a different country compared with the major cities. You are lying by saying everywhere in the US is equally developed. Not so. |

Stingman: Clowning is allowed...
however...read this part and see if it makes sense...that's after you gbana have cleared...
It's either the FG develop all regions equally...like given each region, something like $1 billion for them to develop their infrastructure, that is most important to them...not just developing only the SW and the north..or allow any region who wants to leave to do so through a referendum. Tribes who are benefiting from the rot in the country, like the Yorubas should not stand in the way of the tribes that want to leave...
That is the probs of the Igbos. Lmao, now I know why you come across as high as a kite. While it is a great aspiration to try and develop everywhere equally, unfortunately there's no country on planet earth to have achieved that ideal. We shall keep trying though. |

MrMaestro: Many Yoruba are contempt because we have been succeeding IN SPITE of Nigeria. But honestly, we can do soooooo much better on our own. We still have the first African to have a Nobel prize, the first African to fly around the world, one of the first industrialized industries in Coco, we had the first television network in sub Saharan Africa, our entrepreneurship has created many industries in Ogun. We own the ICT market in Nigeria: Jumia, jobberman, iroko, konga, etc. Yorubas are as smart, cultured and organized as many european and Asian societies. If we didn't have the dead weight of Nigeria, yorubaland would have been Singapore or Japan by today. So I honestly support disintegration. If we are going to leave Nigeria it will be our own decision and on our own time and terms not by prodding by ibos or anyone else. |

Stingman: How can Igbo leave your region when the FG will take all the money to develop your region and not the SE. For 50 years, the SW has received more than the SE...Just in 2017, the Lagos-Ibadan express and Lagos -Ibadan Rail system has received more than the SE and SS...This is why you will die for one Nigeria... If you don't want to leave Yorubaland then you are not serious about Biafra. It means you are only trying to blackmail Yoruba folks as if we hold the key to your freedom in Nigeria, perhaps we do. |

Stingman: Why are you cousins in Port Novo, not like you? They have seaports and airports too.
Thank God for Igbos who are a blessing to Nigeria...but they deserve to be treated equally. If they have been receiving from the FG like your region for 50 years...You would imagine what the region would be like after the civil war....
On co-existence...Igbos live with more tribes better than you yorubas...How many yorubas are outside of their region? Co-exist peacefully is the code word. Everywhere on the planet where you find a large group of ibos there's a problem, with locals trying to chase them out. This is not a Yoruba problem. All over Yorubaland from from Kwara to Ondo, you will find Nigerians from every tribe, creed or religion living peacefully with the locals. Only ibos for example attempted to challenge the authority of Deji of Akure, thereby drawing the ire of Akure and Yoruba people in general. Before oil, Yorubaland was ahead of iboland, and Yoruba cannot take the blame for a war you started yourself. |

joker, reason is- one Nigeria, no Nigeria. we'll do well we don't have to fight in favour or against. we don't depend on FG we do our own thing and strife to survive. The problem is ibos inability to coexist peacefully with anyone. Before the white man, they grouped themselves into clans, each of them completely independent of the other. It was so bad that if you stray to another clan you could be eaten. Stingman and some other folks would like to go back to that period. |

The real question is why can't ibos exist peacefully with anyone? The Yorubas are about the only people who can tolerate them. Hausa Fulani folks just rescinded their quit notice on ibos. The Ghanaians will like to kick him out. The South Africans wants to kick him out too. The Malaysians think he is the scourge of the continent. The Chinese wants to put him in jail until he can pay for his own flight back to Nigeria. The Thais, the Vietnamese, Australians, Brazilians all start sweating and distressed as soon as they see them. Even in Iboland the few who are good people are scared to go home for fear of people like Osisikankwu and Evans or someone randomly shooting up the church killing everyone. Yorubas deserve commendation for tolerating ibos. May God continue to bless Oodualand. |

smirn: Most Nigerians are so so stupid, so it's the price of rice that is used measure the performance of government. Imported rice for that matter. But if we may judge by that, how much was a bag of rice during IBB and Abacha regime? GEJ no matter how stupid Nigerians are is the most useless president Nigeria will ever have. This is really unfortunate. It has gotten so bad that politicians now know instinctively that if you give Nigerians a little bit of rice they are willing to surrender their lives to you for next four years. This same scenario is playing out right now in Ekiti. No industry, no agricultural projects, absolutely no means of generating income besides the monthly hand out from Abuja. It is like the state is on the dole. |
