It's simply inconceivable that anyone with a brain would think a non-Igbo speaker who barely just learned the Igbo language would single-handedly translate a whole biblical volume into Igbo... Haba! make una take am easy with the fabrications! even the most accomplished linguist on earth would still have needed help from the core indigenous speakers considering how languages have their dialectical variations, complex structures and meanings... Igbos at that time didn't even have a central language yet as Igbos were scattered into various clans, tribes and subgroups, so there's absolutely no way in heaven or hell Bishop Ajayi mastered the complexities of the Igbo language in such a short time..

Who said he didn't get any help from the local speakers of the language? How does that change the fact that he wrote the first primer for the Ibo language and then translated the Bible to Ibo language?
My only question here is how he got around the fact that there's no word for love in Ibo language when the Bible talks so much about love.
