And even if Ilumoyade's tales by moonlight were true, does it come anywhere close to the Abagana ambush (the biggest ambush of the entire war) where less than a battalion of poorly armed Biafran troops under Colonel Achuzia nearly wiped out a Brigade of the Nigerian army? at least that fact is well documented and even available on credible sources and databases right now... And not some rubbish drunken tales some cynic pulled out of his arse.

It was that catastrophic delay caused by Banjo's sabotage that gave Lagos enough time to organize the 2 infantry division under Colonel Muritala for an effective counter attack against an already depleted Biafran force low on morale and materials.
