The 1999 Constitution provides that any person with O/L can assume any position. NYSC question comes up the moment you tender a Degree or HND certificate. In that sense you must attach NYSC Certificate of National Service, NYSC Exemption Certificate or NYSC Exclusion Letter. If you don't any of the aforementioned, better you tender your WAEC Certificate only to avoid Peter Mbah story.

On the issue of NYSC,there is no law that says u must have NYSC before u can become governor,senator or what have u,but the major thing we should not do is submitting fake certificates.

The court does not joke with forgery no matter who u are,hence the reason why I feel that the current governor of Enugu state is a goner.

There is a Law that says If you are a graduate under 30 at the time of graduation, you must do the compulsory national service to work or to hold an office in Nigeria . See below :

Press/Press relations is what you seek to strengthen when you have adverse Media reports rather that displaying aggression towards the press. Have they even tried to find out (research) why the press target the state for bad press? What are they doing that other states are doing differently in order not to attract the kind that Ebonyi State face? This why I say Umahi should hire a media expert.

Be that as it may, even if they report falsehood your media team should be able to shame them by countering the falsehood with truth. As Governor , if your media team doesnot have the strategic capacity to match the press , then disband thrm . its more honorable than banning the press.

quite right. Umahi ought to learn a better approach to press relations. If his Press Secretary is not up and doing , he should hire a better one. In a situation you have a Bad media coverage, you don't attack press, rather you use your media team to present your own side of the story as you deem fit. and then let the masses be the ultimate judge.
