kingbang: This shoes how daft you are! We have heard eye witness accounts and you are here spewing thrash? I hope your idiocy allows you to understand that the catholic church is no longer part of CAN. Get a life kid, you are a making a big fool of yourself here.
You are the biggest fool and joke on this forum.....now your alibi to excuse the position of CAN is to say the Catholic Church is no longer part of CAN? How does that correlates to the indict given out to Obi?

The earlier the governor apologize to the members of the families of the victims for this calamity he brought them....the better for his life and all his supporters.

You ...all your gang...may the blood of those hapless and innocent kids that were killed squarely flow on you.

kingbang: Direct bearing? Please explain that to us kid. We are waiting. You are worse than a scum I swear.
You a bigger fool than I gave you credit for.....read what CAN (South East says) here and tell me who is more intelligent between us:

http://dailypost.com.ng/2013/11/04/uke-stampede-can-bans-political-campaigns-in-churches/

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, South-East chapter has banned political campaigns in churches across the zone.

The ban followed the tragedy at Uke Adoration Ground, in Anambra State, which left over 25 persons dead and scores wounded.

CAN has also asked the Federal Government to immediately set up a panel of inquiry to investigate the remote causes of the incident.

It noted that the panel set up by Governor Peter Obi of Anambra was wrong as the governor could not be a judge in his own case.

Chairman of CAN in South East and the Bishop of Enugu Anglican Diocese, Rt. Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Chukwuma who handed down the order in an interview, on Monday said the group was becoming worried on how politicians come inside churches to campaign.

Chukwuma said that the tragic incident in Anambra is of great concern to CAN, adding that they sympathize with the relatives of the victims.

“It is my own duty as CAN chairman South-East to ban all politicians from attending our churches with their political teams for campaigns. The church should also stay clear of partisan politics because there are different kinds of people in the church that belong to different political parties.

“So, it’s wrong to come into the church and begin to talk about manifestos and begin to campaign. It is not going to be acceptable any more because it causes commotion and disrespect to one another.

“We appeal to priests, pastors, Bishops, clergymen to please avoid politicians coming to use churches as campaign arena. This does not augur well for our spiritual growth.

“We, therefore, urge the Federal government to set up investigation panel to find out what actually happened because we feel very much worried. Since the state government is involved, I think there should a neutral body for the investigation”, he noted.

Chukwuma described unfolding events in Anambra State as worrisome and urged the people of the state not to allow themselves to be bought over by money bags.

“They should be very clear on who they want to rule the state and the wish of God should be upheld.

“So, we hereby appeal to politicians to stay clear of our churches so that peace can reign and people be allowed to vote candidates of their choice. The mandate of the people must be respected in the coming election”, the Bishop stressed.
Let me hear you now insult CAN in the SE...If I will now place a curse on your Igbo.

kingbang: Because he was invited by the Organizers! Is that too difficult for your thick skull to assimilate? What has even his presence got to do with an event that happened 3 hours after he left? Oh, i forgot, his spirit stayed back to cause the stampede. Please make frequent use of your brains kid, its yours and you don't have to pay for it. Gosh!
You are a muttonhead....don't you know there is a primary and remote causes of an event.

His presence had a direct bearing to the eventual stampede.

Not so fast....I wont' allow you to easily scurry off here without placing a curse on your head if need be...

Why did he have to go to a religious ground with an APGA entourage wearing the trade mark aso-ebi.?
PoliticsRe: Uke Stampede (survivors Account) by gurnam: 4:03pm On Nov 04, 2013
kingbang: Senseless urchin! FYI, the stampede occurred 3 hours after Obi had left, so what presence are we talking about here kid? Try and make use of your brains for once.
Keep spinning .....what was Obi with his stooge in toe doing campaigning at a purely religious programme..? pray tell...when has an adoration ground become a campaign ground?

The spirits of the innocent and hapless people killed shall forever torment Obi and all those of you trying to betray these dead souls.

***I spit on your conscienceless soul***....!!

kingbang: Oh, now its the church and not Peter Obi again? Confused APC buttlicker.
Shut up your putrid mouth.....!!!!

The crowd from all accounts was too heavy for the adoration space.....the antics and presence of Obi to campaign just worsened an already terrible situation....it was a tragedy waiting to happen...and Obi ignited it.
PoliticsRe: Uke Stampede (survivors Account) by gurnam: 3:47pm On Nov 04, 2013
The church seems just to lack the organisational logistics to handle such crowd...

I see some paid Obi / Obiano's gooons all over the thread trying hard to defend the indefensible....

May God give you this type of treatment that Obi is gave to the dead people in Uke...

This incidence has gone to show that Obi is a lying governor.....that will blame every other person but himself.

ROSSIKE: And where is recession ''permanent''? Every country has ''the capacity to bounce back in the long run'', so your comment here is senseless.

Dude, communism was eradicated from those states over 20 or 30 years ago. How long will you keep blaming their poverty on it?

The countries above abandoned communism even before China did, yet look at them.

Tell us more.

Stop making excuses for corruption and mismanagement.

See: Slovakia, 3rd most corrupt nation in Europe after Slovenia and Croatia:

ROSSIKE: ^^ Blame CORRUPTION and MISMANAGEMENT for this poverty, not communism or socialism etc.

Cuba, China etc were/are communist states, yet you rarely see this kind of grinding poverty there.

Guy.....don't compare apples to oranges.....the recession in Greece is temporary....the country have the capacity to bounce back in the long run.

How come most of those countries you listed above have the same economic model in common.

China is leaping because it has seen the light by abandoning it closed economy for a more robust controlled open economy....

Cuba? Don't let's start. Don't judge a book by it's cover.

I still maintain the opinion that socialism and communism are the undoing of those countries.

waternogetenemy: Ideally onitsha is central but Enugu has the airport and it is more of a centre for administration.

All that is needed is solid and regular railway network to connect all states within the region to enugu within an hour or two at most.
How can you say Onitsha is ideally central.....? undecided

Awka or Owerri should take consideration if it should be based on accessibility and centrality....but Enugu is far more preferred.

pacido: All these internet tigers I advise u start by getting a voter's card and attending political party meetings of ur choice so u get a better understanding of how politics are playd especially at d grassroots level. People like amaechi who foolishly play into the hands of northern political masters will always end up discovering that they are mere pawns in d whole political chess game. Whether the northern oligarchs like it or nt,The lecturer from otuoke will have his 2nd term bc NIG is for everybody
The President is entitled and qualified to run for a 2nd term....absolutely no question on that.....but while pursuing that ambition...he should not forcefully stop other from pursuing their own ambitions too....that is the beauty of democracy!!!

When a President uses state forces and instruments of coercion to stop people from associating...having legal meetings and generally inhibiting the tenets of democracy that he is the single largest beneficiary..then people have legitimate right to kick against him.
PoliticsRe: Will My Outstanding PHCN Bill/debt Be Inherited By The Successor Companies? by gurnam: 12:26pm On Nov 04, 2013
area_boy1: Thanks for your response. I thought debts are liabilities and if they are not,the workers being paid off right now should also be considered assets. From my understanding, the successor companies didn't inherit PHCN liabilities.
Recoverable debts are not liability to any company...but an asset. However there is always provision for such exposure and the amount depends on the age of debt and the type of debtor.

There is no where in the world where a company will take up the payment of gratuities and other terminal benefits of the staff in a company winding up as part of liabilities to be taken over (when they were not party to negotiations and agreements on such entitlements), unless they are employing such as staff on their own.

Of course..there would have been liabilities inherited by the successor companies..such as vendors....suppliers/contractors and other creditors.

Absolutely.....debtors (customers indebted to a company) are part of the assets to be inherited by the companies...just like any other assets.

So you should work out ways to pay whatever you are owning.

The sooner you look beyond tribe which infact we Igbos are the most vulnerable if anything should go wrong, the better for you. Why can't you stand for justice and truth for once?
The sentence in bold is what the dunderhead you replied cannot fathom.....Igbos have the largest part of their assets and properties in Nigeria outside of their control if violence erupts in Nigeria.....meanwhile the same fool is advocating violence against leaders of other regions.

Some people will never learn....you did it in Jan '66 and the consequences of that is still living with us till today

You are very quick in typing your usual thoughtless comments....but very slow in thinking.

How would Jonathan and his own people be able to visit other opposition states ( growing daily) and get a great welcome if Buhari....Tinubu and other leaders are violently treated in PH....would that advance the interest of the President in anyway?

The two Ministers causing the greatest headache to GEJ and a threat to his ambition for 2015 are Wike and Oduah.

Use your brain....you don't pay anyone for using it.

You people have always been known to be selfish...covetous and greedy...left to you...Ibos should head all government MDA's

While the talk of relieving Oduah was going up...Ibos are already (rightly) that any successor must not just be any Ibo...but from Anambra.

But here is the Ibo OP asking that not only should the Ibo woman act for a Yoruba slot....but should be confirmed as substantive minister.
