The problem with Nigeria is when people did not see Nepotism as corruption. The President yesterday said that his appointments were not merely based on Merit contrary to what APC, Adeshina and Lai Mohammed has been feeding Nigerians but as a form of reward to people who have stood by him in bad times and good times, who remained loyal to him. I like the explanation, but is that not Nepotism and favouritism?

Did Nelson Mandela choose only ANC members and Zulus into his cabinet? Even Whites who were behind Apartheid were given prominent positions which helped in cementing unity in the country, he never told his countrymen that his Presidency is about rewarding cronies first.

I hope that PMB will focus on providing quality education to people in North although the northern elites will not support him as they will lose a core support base used to harass their opponents during elections and southerners during riots.
