IMO that's a greedy set up. Besides, the updates are distributed into a veriety of folders on your system when the update process is running; thus, copying from one system to another will be a not so good an idea.
Alternatively, you could download a trial resetter.
Its job is to reset the kav trail once it expires.
You're thus able to get updates as long as you're still within your trial period time frame.
