Merit was sacrificed on the alter of religion when Tinubu announced Shettima as his vice and most northern oligarch kept mum on it. The truth is, Tinubu and the northern oligarch might rig their way into power because this is Nigeria, a corrupt third world country with corrupt leaders, but one thing I can assure you, more regional sect and disgruntled population will ruin his government. Buhari had only South east as the disgruntled population to manage, Tinubu is going to have disgruntled population of South east, South South and Middle belt to manage…that’s in addition to the top tier terrorism by Boko haram, Fulani herdsmen and UGM in south east |
Penguin2:Trust me, Peter Obi will have huge votes in Kaduna state. El-rufai played politics of religion and tested the waters in Kaduna state by going for a muslim muslim ticket and sold same template to the presidency to brandish at federal level. As such, southern kaduna feel marginalised and are ready to thumb their vote for Obi. |
WonderManly:Fans like you are very dangerous and obviously superficial. Your loyalty is more to Ronaldo than the entire football club. You don’t mind the club going through distress just to prove your point of Ronaldo supremacy. Unfortunately, no matter how glorious you think Ronaldo is, he can only flourish is a formidable team. I’m not a United fan, but sometimes dey feel for them, e no easy to test glory com dey eat grass |
Tech tech tech,,,please let passion drive him..that’s the only fuel that will keep him going. The bandwagon effect have got so many half baked tech peeps |
emperorlaqrin:Thanks for sympathising with me. Trust me, even if he tell the security men, yes they might secure the car at that point, but they could also give intel to these thieves with the exact customer car description. Some are accomplices disguising as security men. After our incident, we were advised to go to the bank were the cash was withdrawn and interrogate the account officer…but there was long line of people that the approval of the gratuity went through, any of them could had given the information to the thieves..so it was practically impossible to robe them in the mess. I believe is same case with the man. |
CoolJul:Smart of you to know even the booth ain’t safe if these men of the underworld are at your heels…if you see the fastness our car booth was opened by these guys to steal our fund, you will understand that once you’ve got such money with you and these men trail you, the only succour, to some extent is them seeing you entering a bank and transferring the funds right away in the bank. Even at that, pray you don’t get visited by them in your residence |
emperorlaqrin:CCTV will show the incidence clearly but I assure you there’s nothing that will be done about it. This is Naija, where’s the data for extrapolating and interpolating such. My deceased mum pension was stolen in similar manner, cctv was played…we saw how the thieves trailed us and stole the fund from our car while we parked within a major pc mall to obtain a target…..story long, las las we were consoled with “make una thank God dem no follow una reach house sef” |
gambia:The idioti.c and bigoted mods always do such…on Fridays is strictly Islamic post with restrictions to comment from the general public…but on Sunday, sexual post…sometimes they can even post something as stupid as “can someone have sex after church”? ..opening the floor to all manner of derogatory post to Christianity. Better stop all these rubbish bias |
The earlier southern Kaduna start clamouring to secede from Kaduna state the better…Their voices might not be heard now, with time, that little voice will become too thunderous to be ignored. El-rufai has already set a precedence that will make it difficult for a southern kaduna political big wig to emerge in the state. It was pre-planned behind closed doors to strategically cleanse kaduna politics from every southern kaduna Christian influence, it was very uncomfortable to the northern Muslim oligarchs that an influential state like kaduna have Christian mix …Reason Elrufai set the ball rolling with a Muslim Muslim ticket, his likely successor too same path…extreme marginalisation of SK is looming |

If the ruling party underestimate LP, trust me, their fingers will be burnt severely. The LP frenzy is a movement, movement intensify with time, clamour and rage. Understand that there are people that don’t give a mess about any LP political representative, be it governor or any platform. You don’t expect people to come show support to probably an Unknown contestant all because of Obi. The movement that will be generated by people who want a change of status quo and people disgruntled is beyond Obi, Obi is just a cloak..when I mean movement, I mean at federal level…forget all these grassroots hallubaloo…LP ain’t a match at that level |
naija4life247:I have read your post on this thread but you seem to miss the point or selectively ignored truth for sentiments. Before Tinubu announced his vice, I was vacillating between APC , LP and PDP who to go with..Peripherally, I knew each candidate’s antecedence, but I wanted to make in-depth research about each candidate before making a choice… Tinubu choosing a Muslim vice changed the dynamics…This is the highest insult to the sensibilities of every non Muslim Nigerian, I must commend every Muslim condemning such gross and hairbrain decision by Tinubu and APC, they have shown that they are genuinely human. The truth is there will have been curfews imposed in most northern states and bloodbath even before the announcement of election results if it was a Christian candidate selecting another Christian under the ruling party. Providence might support Tinubu in winning the presidency, which is very uncertain…but trust me, if he wins, Tinubu will be ruling a divided, disgruntled and vicious populace. Finally, the greatest asset of a political leader is the people’s trust in his government and patriotism in keying in his goals and vision of building the nation…Tinubu will unprecedentedly lack that important ingredient Let’s see how the drama unfolds |
Typical African…time is non essential. Just randomness without precision. Just living by grace and insha Allah. Well, Africa might catch up with first world countries but unfortunately non of the present living might witness such day |
These guys take advantage of this beef to keep them afloat…they ain’t the best in the game but they have mastered the art of staying relevant using inconsequentialities like Kwankwaso is always using Peter Obi’s to tap from the social media frenzy Peter is enjoying |
You as a senator with all your knowledge and travelling experience took someone to place like UK for major operation with perfecting your background runnings?? What were you thinking? |
cococandy:Even if the boy never had any intention, he might have met people on board the plane or in naija before travelling that gave him this Japa idea. I met someone like that on board a flight to UK, though a Ghanaian, but his questions to me suggested he won’t return back on his visit visa and will do anything to take back in UK. Ekeremadu is learned enough to know that the boy consenting to such operation isn’t enough, his first family will be contacted to give their consent as well. Even if the boy consent and the family decline, the operation won’t be carried out regardless the boy’s age |
You as a senator with all your knowledge and travelling experience took someone to place like UK for major operation with perfecting your background runnings?? What were you thinking? People wey court stop plane wey don carry asylum seekers already for airport , just at the time of take off to Rwanda,, the plane had to disembark all the asylum seekers against British government plan |
Patriot9:It's not a mistake, that is the price of the bread. I have forgotten the name of the super mall along Aminu kano crescent Wuse 2, just after etisalat office...I buy bread sometimes whenever I'm in abj, I see this priced bread on the shelve. Surprisingly, it is lighter in weight than the breads they sell at 850 naira |
dettolgel:No sir, I went on a visit. |
9jaRealist:You missed the whole point of the post you quoted. I hope it is not out of candidate fanatism or party obsession. I’m yet to choose a candidate, so the post wasn’t biased towards any political party…it’s generic. The post is about time management, the time set by inec I suppose was know to every candidate before hand…if not so, then the post is still valid, the society structure is faulty. If so, then time management of political parties is wack and has knock on effect on the population and society they are aspiring to rule If Obama choose his deputy at the time you stated, I’m very sure it was because the system allows the choice within that time frame..though I’ve not verify was your wrote |
PaedophileProph:Trust me, I’m not against Peter Obi candidacy, infact I just need one reasonable conviction in terms of security to wow me to his camp. You said this is Nigeria and a Nigeria law wasn’t broken, and that’s the premise of my initial post. Why fix time for submission of candidates when it can be altered or replacement used. It is defeating. You see where the structure of society gets faulty? |
I’ve been to several countries, and trust me…the major difference between a develop society and developing or under developed society is time management. To put it clearly, the difference between Africa and the western world is time management. If you use a digital watch, immediately you land in most first world countries, the watch automatically update to the same time with the national clock or time…no room for flimsy excuses like my watch was a bit late or slow like we have here in Africa. I’ve ran from my home to meet a train at a train station, and missed it by just a minute beyond the departure time. I have missed a flight from Paris to Milan by just some few minutes of delay on my part. The western countries peg their salary or wages payment to time, you think they are foolish …not at all. The secret is to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. If I pay you hourly, I will ensure you are more efficient at the job I gave you because I don’t want to waste my money, not like in African that we do monthly payment, people go to work, lazy about for two weeks and put in some work or effort in the last two weeks of the month, because they will definitely be paid at the end of the month. In Western society everything understands time, people understand time, inanimate things understand time in western world.Submission of candidates at a given time is submission at that time..no rigmarole. Why will I set a time if I know parties can fill in replaceable candidates, the aim will be defeated. Every candidate vying for a post should have had his structure in place before buying the forms.,, change will be allowed but on exceptional grounds. That will show how serious minded people are in the change of status quo they advocate. What precedence are you setting as a political leader to time management? This is channelled to all the political parties…Time is of essence |
Afamed:You’re a dunce.. you don’t wish Nigeria well as far Islam is propagated. I’m not from eastern Nigeria, I’m a northerner by geo-politics Though the act of Tinubu is to safeguard his pedigree and party…it is cowardice. In serious climes, politicians nominate their surbodinates and subject them the the rigour of public scrutiny. There are independent researchers that wait for your nominations to do their background checks before they decide whether to hand their destiny to your government or not….. not hide and seek, further heating the already heated polity |
Trust me, the choice of Tinubu candidate for VP is the ice breaker for me and a lot of people, regardless whether he hide the candidate till the eve of election…I will switch to the next alternative candidate if the VP doesn’t meet my criteria. That’s even when I decide to go with APC FOR NOW, I have not still decided who to peg my vote to…still researching and fact finding. |
Tareq1105:I pity you. I’m very open minded and exposed, I assume you will like me to see beyond religion right? but that’s a very red flag to a heterogeneous society like Nigeria. First of all, people need to belief in your government, trust your leadership, have a sense of belonging, feel part and parcel of your regime and be ready to positively contribute to your dream project of the country, only then will you actualise those dreams. I go to Kaduna state often, I see the wonderful project of elrufai as regards infrastructures, though mostly one sided as acclaimed by the southern kaduna Christians…but beyond those projects are gargantuan insecurities the state had never witness..He, elrufai further spite the Christians by choosing a deputy Muslim which never happened, he gave free ride to bandits and insurgents by saying the government will not pay ransom or negotiate with any kidnapper, despite the very poor security level of kd. Now, see the image el rufai has among most Nigerians..religious bigot, intolerant and fanatical..all those names overwrite his infrastructural development I don’t want to type much, because it might not make sense to you…The Jews in Europe, especially Germany, thought the governance and politics of Germany was not their business until Hitler came in…They left politics in the hands of the Germans, because they feel it is normal…Hitler started slowly and held the political structure firmly, made sure it was fully with his grip…then he killed 6million of them in the Holocaust. A price they paid for their indifference and political neutrality |
I Stan and re-Stan Someone told me that El-rufai going for Muslim-Muslim ticket for the first time in a very multi-ethnic and religiously volatile Kaduna state was a litmus test for the grand agenda at the federal level, but I took those words with a pinch of salt. They are evidently playing out now. You see, when it comes to political master plan and how to conquer territories or islamise a region, the core northern Muslims have no competition. They could trade off anything on the platter of religion, it’s that sacred to them. How many were bold enough to condemn, Deborah’s murder Infact, many applauded it, though in secret. To a typical northern Muslim, religion comes first, then ethnic background before any other thing. Picking Tinubu out of other candidates at APC primary was to respect the closed door agreement of turn by turn presidency APC had, no option. The only way to appease their religious affiliation and give them a soft landing was to choose a Muslim from South, atleast to them is not a lose lose scenario. El-rufai further divided Kaduna along religious line than he met it. A state that had been fighting religious war since I was 4yrs, and resort to religious crisis at the slightest provocation..a state witnessing massive onslaught of Christians, a state that kidnapping is normal…banditry is commonplace.. the southern kaduna people feel more threatened by el-rufai government than they ever had..Then the only way to bridge the gap is replace their only symbol of belonging and identity with a Muslim deputy, eve though most times, the Christian deputy is deliberately rendered useless or ceremonial by the Muslim governor, but it gives a psychological feeling of being part of the state to the region, further spiting them of their and telling them they are inconsequential. Tell me if that’s not bigotry, evil and wicked. Any Muslim that support a Muslim Muslim project in Nigeria is not to be trusted by his close pals..especially on religious debates. I salute core northern Muslims that condemn such anomaly |
leksite120:I think they would have tested the waters but for the massive outcry from the people that really want the betterment of this country. The debate of a Muslim Muslim ticket was already threatening the fragile bond and unity existing, it has further polarised the population, making Tinubu government take off on a disadvantage slate, perhaps they win. What astonished me was the number of Muslim folks supporting and clamouring for that in a heterogeneous society like Nigeria, displaying data of how Muslim population outnumber Christian population in Nigeria, same data from supposed western media they always criticise and don’t believe on the ground that they are not factual when the bid is against them. I wouldn’t had supported such if I were in same shoes. Lee Kuan Yew said, the founding father of Singapore said, the only asset he had when he started running Singapore was the trust of the people for his government and their willingness to work in building the country. Those assets are very invaluable to any genuine leader with the intention of positively transforming his country |
The reasons are not far fetched… People literally begging for money to eat and all they care about is APC must chose a Muslim northerner if they want to win the north…after being more impoverished under the current Muslim northern rule than any rule in history. |

Tinubu health challenges if true what people are saying is something to worry about for an incoming president that will be faced with unprecedented national challenges Forget tribe or region…The kidnapped guests travelling along zamfara-sokoto road yesterday are likely northerners kidnapped under a northern regime. |
I no dey campaign for any musician again...whether underrated or overrated, GRACE is different.... Na so we campaign for BURNA BOY that year,,now Baba dey ghost us |
