I still wonder why some people feel Africa would had been el dorado if most of the countries weren’t colonised. Africa would have been more crude with regards to human rights, even worst than what the colonial masters did.

Family / Re: Pls, I Want To Know About Nigerian Marriage Life. by Gwan2(m): 6:55pm On Aug 31, 2022
peacefull:
Thank you so much for everyone who gave me advice!

I appreciate everyone!!

I confirmed about my husband is married in Nigeria.
He married in 2013. I'm still not sure.
But at least around 2013, they got married.
This woman is long time I suspected.
I was suspecting, But I tried to trust him.
I'm a really confusing person.

He has a daughter too. I still don't know how old she is. But very lovely little girl.
And they have own business, I should say they have own company? in Nigeria.

I already decided to allow everythings.
But I'm hurt. Very very hurt now.

I'm still not tell him about anything.
I wanna hear the truth from him.
I wanna know about what he wanna do, what is his plan, what about our marriage, our future, what is he thinking about or planning about his daughter etc.
I wanna ask him many many things!
So, I will talk to him.

At least we are still married.
And that woman is a his second wife.
He still not dump me. So, maybe he has his reason.
Maybe he get tired with me, maybe he fell in love with her, maybe he wanted have a kid with Nigerian woman, maybe he doesn't love me since beginning etc, etc, etc!
And I don't know why he still hiding about it from me?

At least he is still with me. Still continue to married with me.
So, he must has his reason and I wanna know.

I hope and I wish this is my misunderstanding.
But I saw pictures.

Maybe many many peoples, maybe most of peoples are their side?
Maybe support them?
Because they are Nigerian and I'm not.
Maybe very funny things to someone?
They are laughing at me?
All of his family and her family are laughing at me too?

I'm a big fool for long time.
But I'm still wanna be with him.
Maybe something wrong with me.

I know I shouldn't write about my private life, my marriage life on internet.
But I didn't write everythings.
I'm always writing only few things. Because I can't write everythings.

Anyway, Thank you so much!
I got to know the truth! I just remain talk to him.
I really really appreciate everyone!! smiley

Reference:

Not the referee's fault.
He didn't see it.
It was VAR that called a pause to investigate and they cleared it.
The referee doesn't have the luxury of instant slow-mo replay so cut them some slack.

If the referee see the agitation from fans, coaching staff and players is way overboard, he has the luxury to pause the game and go check the Tv screen on slow motion

I could cut the referee some slack for cucureller hair pulling but that tackle on Havertz, pure bias or inconsistency

Merit was sacrificed on the alter of religion when Tinubu announced Shettima as his vice and most northern oligarch kept mum on it.

The truth is, Tinubu and the northern oligarch might rig their way into power because this is Nigeria, a corrupt third world country with corrupt leaders, but one thing I can assure you, more regional sect and disgruntled population will ruin his government.

Buhari had only South east as the disgruntled population to manage, Tinubu is going to have disgruntled population of South east, South South and Middle belt to manage…that’s in addition to the top tier terrorism by Boko haram, Fulani herdsmen and UGM in south east

Penguin2:
I was drawn to tears when I saw this video.

Because the picture they’ve always painted all along is how a northerner will never have anything to do with an Igbo man.

I never envisaged that there would be a day that “five Hausa people” will be chanting an Igbo man’s name in the streets of the north.

But here we have a crowd; and it wasn’t even scheduled.

Thunder fire Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Media propaganda.

Trust me, Peter Obi will have huge votes in Kaduna state. El-rufai played politics of religion and tested the waters in Kaduna state by going for a muslim muslim ticket and sold same template to the presidency to brandish at federal level. As such, southern kaduna feel marginalised and are ready to thumb their vote for Obi.

Business / Re: ₦22 Million Stolen From Customer’s Car Parked Inside Access Bank In Kaduna by Gwan2(m): 11:30pm On Aug 03, 2022

Am so sorry about your late mom
My sincere condolences.

You see what makes your case different is that the security men of the plaza you parked were not aware of the said money in your car. If the man story as claimed is true "Which is he informed the security men he has money in his car" and the man can confirm which of the security man he informed in this case. I can tell you categorically that the caveat emptor (Cars are parked at owners risk) might not work in this case and it is gonna definitely make access bank liable for the gross negligence of there staff.

Are you aware the security men at access bank are not contract like some other companies (if I am sure because they are always in blue wear with access bank ascribed on it).

Definitely it would first be proved if the security men are staffs of the bank if yes then access bank can be sued along with the said security man or men.

Thanks for sympathising with me.

Trust me, even if he tell the security men, yes they might secure the car at that point, but they could also give intel to these thieves with the exact customer car description. Some are accomplices disguising as security men.

After our incident, we were advised to go to the bank were the cash was withdrawn and interrogate the account officer…but there was long line of people that the approval of the gratuity went through, any of them could had given the information to the thieves..so it was practically impossible to robe them in the mess. I believe is same case with the man.

VERY GROSS stupidity!!!

He even told the security he has money in the car. Why did he have to divulge such info to someone.

Why put the money inside the car instead of the booth (not like it's safe there either though) .

Always keep every bag inside your car away from eye view when parking your car anywhere! Because even if na garbage dey into the bag, your car glasses are at risk.

Smart of you to know even the booth ain’t safe if these men of the underworld are at your heels…if you see the fastness our car booth was opened by these guys to steal our fund, you will understand that once you’ve got such money with you and these men trail you, the only succour, to some extent is them seeing you entering a bank and transferring the funds right away in the bank. Even at that, pray you don’t get visited by them in your residence

It doesn't work that way. Even if the bank is sued I have seen a legal precedence that states a company will not be held liable should incase of any theft in the said company only if there are certain precautions taken eg. Giving the security man of the said company your car key

In this particular case, the man claimed he told the security men he had money in his car. I think those security men should be behind bars by now and the security camera throughly examined. In a nutshell the man should sue them because the CCTV will give the culprit out which am very sure it's a bank official

CCTV will show the incidence clearly but I assure you there’s nothing that will be done about it. This is Naija, where’s the data for extrapolating and interpolating such.

My deceased mum pension was stolen in similar manner, cctv was played…we saw how the thieves trailed us and stole the fund from our car while we parked within a major pc mall to obtain a target…..story long, las las we were consoled with “make una thank God dem no follow una reach house sef”

The earlier southern Kaduna start clamouring to secede from Kaduna state the better…Their voices might not be heard now, with time, that little voice will become too thunderous to be ignored.

El-rufai has already set a precedence that will make it difficult for a southern kaduna political big wig to emerge in the state. It was pre-planned behind closed doors to strategically cleanse kaduna politics from every southern kaduna Christian influence, it was very uncomfortable to the northern Muslim oligarchs that an influential state like kaduna have Christian mix …Reason Elrufai set the ball rolling with a Muslim Muslim ticket, his likely successor too same path…extreme marginalisation of SK is looming

If the ruling party underestimate LP, trust me, their fingers will be burnt severely. The LP frenzy is a movement, movement intensify with time, clamour and rage.

Understand that there are people that don’t give a mess about any LP political representative, be it governor or any platform. You don’t expect people to come show support to probably an Unknown contestant all because of Obi.

The movement that will be generated by people who want a change of status quo and people disgruntled is beyond Obi, Obi is just a cloak..when I mean movement, I mean at federal level…forget all these grassroots hallubaloo…LP ain’t a match at that level

Your Judas Osinbajo that has been VP for 7 years nko? Has the Judas been able to protect you? Just two hours into the election, you all will start crying blood because it will be clear that Tinubu is miles ahead.

I have read your post on this thread but you seem to miss the point or selectively ignored truth for sentiments.

Before Tinubu announced his vice, I was vacillating between APC , LP and PDP who to go with..Peripherally, I knew each candidate’s antecedence, but I wanted to make in-depth research about each candidate before making a choice…

Tinubu choosing a Muslim vice changed the dynamics…This is the highest insult to the sensibilities of every non Muslim Nigerian, I must commend every Muslim condemning such gross and hairbrain decision by Tinubu and APC, they have shown that they are genuinely human. The truth is there will have been curfews imposed in most northern states and bloodbath even before the announcement of election results if it was a Christian candidate selecting another Christian under the ruling party.

Providence might support Tinubu in winning the presidency, which is very uncertain…but trust me, if he wins, Tinubu will be ruling a divided, disgruntled and vicious populace.

Finally, the greatest asset of a political leader is the people’s trust in his government and patriotism in keying in his goals and vision of building the nation…Tinubu will unprecedentedly lack that important ingredient

Let’s see how the drama unfolds

I kinda understand because any parent can do anything for their child. It’s just all messed up all around

Even if the boy never had any intention, he might have met people on board the plane or in naija before travelling that gave him this Japa idea.

I met someone like that on board a flight to UK, though a Ghanaian, but his questions to me suggested he won’t return back on his visit visa and will do anything to take back in UK.

Ekeremadu is learned enough to know that the boy consenting to such operation isn’t enough, his first family will be contacted to give their consent as well. Even if the boy consent and the family decline, the operation won’t be carried out regardless the boy’s age

It's not a mistake, that is the price of the bread. I have forgotten the name of the super mall along Aminu kano crescent Wuse 2, just after etisalat office...I buy bread sometimes whenever I'm in abj, I see this priced bread on the shelve. Surprisingly, it is lighter in weight than the breads they sell at 850 naira
