I wanted to paste the original here before, but after seeing how angry many of them were, I just smiled and moved on.

I was at the towers to return the signed copy of the offer letter on Monday and pick up the introduction letter for my pre-employment medical, I met about 6-10 people waiting there. On the list we filled for before we submitted, my name was number 83. I know many people who got may not be closed to Abuja, so they will probably wait until the deadline to go. Interestingly too, all the people I saw, and the names on my attendance register page were all northerners/muslim except mine.

It's possible this is being done in batches though or we that were called are for a specific location which needs urgent manpower (cos my father-in-law said something like this last month).

In all though, I give glory to God, ur doubts and anger will not take away from me the APL which I already have. I pray as many of us still waiting will get ours soon in Jesus name.

I won't comment on this thread again after this though, too much toxicity

Upon checking the previous email I got from NNPC, everything here looks legit except for the NNPC logo which is a little bit eclipsed in the yellow bar beneath the logo.
Also, this gmail looks like one that was opened on a desktop/laptop. Does this mean the guy was already on his gmail with his laptop/desktop when this mail dropped? I was expecting it to be a screenshot from a mobile device.

That's the main point. The amount spent is not NNPC business.

So for people to justify the mistake of multiple payment as covering for the cost they incurred does not hold water since:

Not everyone received the multiple payment even same date and location.
Those that travelled from outside the country couldn't have been paid more than that 20k. And they must have incurred much more in cost.

Good analysis but it doesn't justify anything about the amount. NNPC is not covering your expenses. They are paying based on their defined rate.

What about those who came from outside the country? How do you justify the 20k they received. My best guess is some received 3k since they used Abuja centers.

The fact that not everyone got the double or triple alert is enough to conclude without doubts that the pay was a mistake or reasons to do with list adjustment.

Everyone's decision to return or not is theirs to make.
We should just stop the false justification of certain decisions.

If multiple alert guys like, they try to find genuine means to return or they prefer not to. It's their call.

In my opinion, I don't think d double/triple payments were made in error. Think about it logically.. For a candidate that went to Abuja from portharcourt, let's assume the person travelled by road,
Tfare to and from is approximately 20k and dat person had to spend at least 2nites in a hotel.. That's another 20k approximately depending on where the person stayed..(i stayed in Bolingo Hotels and it was 15k per nite) So a payment of 20k flat is gross underpayment..hence d 2nd/3rd payments might just be to make it up.
Am sure each PH candidate spent at least 40k on hotel and road transport(that is a very conservative estimate)
Anyways, e pain me sha that I am yet to receive even the first 20k which would have at least covered one quarter of my expenses.
Las Las, I pray it ends with APL for me and us all cos it will be very painful that one doesn't get a Tfare refund and also doesn't get APL

Every non sentimental individual who didn't even participate in the recruitment process would know that up until the last moment the recruitment process has been very credible.

To even think that I praised them during my interview and they told me how they are on a positive transformation mission.

By Allah, I was even surprised that they lowered the standards of a recruitment test for whatever reasons known to them. Still people won't be satisfied.

I wonder what would have happened if they conducted rubiks and dragnet standard test!

Funny how we let emotions be our guide instead of been factual.
Even with the age limit NNPC has put in place we have more than a million applicants and 9k+ interviewed for the jobs, how many will get the APL?
Like my interviewer mentioned "we are looking for the best of the best".
My point is even when every Nigerian in Nigeria applies, not even 1/7th will get in. So what's the point of not having requirements that includes age?

We just have to revamp our entire education system to meet proper standards not keeping hold of mediocracy.

My dear, I know graduate trainee are for graduates that will be trained . In fact I'm also aware that the age is fair but we shouldn't use international standard to judge national standard. All nation have there own problems and they should map out methods to curb it without international interference. Using age to disqualify graduate is not something that will favour many in Nigeria .Our academic system is not as balance as that of the first world country, so there standard of graduate trainee can never work here.

The main issue is that some people have received zero payment for their tf while some others have received for the third time.
Does this mean those yet to be paid have lost their payments to those paid twice or thrice? A moral mind would query this and he has done that.

Anyone writing to NNPC on multiple payments is just plain stupid, i'm sorry to say. The erratic payments by NNPC as an established organisation can/should easily have been detected by now, they honestly don't need you to remind them. If you were not on nairaland, i am sure you would definitely be unaware that some people were/are yet to receive payment. As a matter of fact, you'd assume as a norm that the streams of payments are being made in batches. If you want to display your modesty, kindly contact anyone who hasn't been paid and do a transfer, as simple as that.

FYI- I have only been paid once.

If we are to use logic. Then no 3 inference holds most because a company that will still reward it incoming employee won't spend all that money to refund their tf.

Logical deduction:
1. An error was made hence double payment. The 3rd payment however prompts the question; can Nnpc make a financial error twice?
2. The presidency approved the new salary scale hence transport funds were increased. This implies that the newly alerted folks might be the successful ones. Seeing that candidates that were paid twice and thrice surpassed the 1 percent inference, shouldn’t this be flawed?
3. The unpaid candidates are being neglected because they are successful and their transport allowance would be woven into the funds paid after induction. However are they not the ones that need the allowance the most seeing that they have to travel a second time?

What the hell is that . If that was how He wanted to create us then who are you to question His abilities.

If you choose not to hope, fine. Others choose to hope, fine also. APL will come (or not come, God forbid ) whether we hope or not hope.

In a sane country people cannot come and be making this kind of ridiculous claims about people resuming backdoor for a massive recruitment process like this.


Even at that, these claims of people resuming backdoor are false. We are just gullible to even believe. When APL drops for NNPC 2019 GT/EH recruitment we will know.

That been said, I can see we are moving on gradually. It's a good thing. NNPC will meet us in a better position if they delay too much. Funny how we want to build our country but continue to choose corruption over merit and hardwork. I still believe NNPC will do the right thing.

God willing with or without NNPC, I, you, everyone of us will be great. We will find ways in our capacities to build a country that works for our kids. I love being in Europe but I love my country more.
