I will advise A-levels, it's the surest way of getting admission to any university in Nigeria with even ridiculous grades in the exam. I'm nt advertising any skul lyk dos advertising IJMB skuls.IJMB is also gud but most universities in the south don't accept it,only the northern schools accept it. I'm a student of a very high rating engineering course in Unilag and bliv me I entered Unilag with a CDD A-level grade and if u lyk bring AAA in IJMB,unilag won't admit u for even Guidance and Counselling.Even if u av a 5 points out of the max 16 points in A-level,UI will give u any course in science and some courses in engineering,I knw about UI too cos I av friends dia dat entered wit 'ridiculous' grades. I'm using all dis just to illustrate dat A-levels is the best option and it's recognised anywhere in the World. And bliv me, with the exposure u'll get in A-levels, even with getting as low as 5 points,u're 90% sure of finishing the uni with a 1st class!

Nairaland General › Re: The Ten Worst Countries For Women by haftob(m): 9:04pm On Sep 06, 2014
@OP u contradicted urself by putting Saudi Arabia on the list of top 10 worst countries for Females. Just because they are nt allowed to mix indiscrimately wit males and nt allowed to drive themselves does nt mean they degrade dem,it's just dat they value females, they treat dem like gems, they don't want dia females to bcom dogs by sleeping wit different men. Wen u come across a saudi woman without her veil,u'll marvel at the ornaments she's putting on. They don't want dia women to stress demselves by driving so a driver is available to drive ha around infact they don't allow dia women to do any strenous job cos they bliv they are to be revered. Infact I bliv Saudi Arabia shud b the best country for females!

Honestly, I don't knw y tinz are lyk dis in public schools dat's y I think it's just stupid to say dat private schools give students grades anyhow. To me those private schools provide the correct environment for students and lecturers don't play with students grades, bur reverse is the case in public schools.

Education › Re: The Best Engineering Course To Study In Nigeria by haftob(m): 10:33pm On Sep 02, 2014
Chemical Engineering is the broadest Engineering discipline cos it cuts across so many fields. Biomedical Engineering is cool and it's new in Nigeria, just few skuls are offering it lyk BELLS uni(undergraduate),Unilag(masters level),Uniport and Futo(undergraduate but dia's is Biomedical technology but also 5yrs),and I tink ABU(biomedical science) tho nt too sure about ABU sha. The course is an hot cake in the country presently cos graduates of the course are nt much cos even all the skuls dat are offering it started it lyk 5-6 yrs ago.
If u really want to narrow ur mind to the oil and gas industry, go for Petroleum engineering, it is the most paid discipline any where in the world with ur BSc talkless of masters but mind u, it's narrow!
If u want to be versatile, go for Computer,Mechanical, or systems, u'll definitely fit in anywhere. Just my opinion o
