Politics › Re: Nigeria Among World's Major Investment Destinations - KPMG by HAH: 2:20pm On Mar 04, 2013
Somalia too are very lucrative to invest infact they do better than Nigeria in the piracy sector.

Bull shit may be KPMG is talking of bunkering in that case there is no place like Nigeria.

Where is leventis, where is liver brothers, where are the textile industries in kano and kaduna.

Power alone cannot allow you invest and compete with imported goods talkless of the rampant insecurity in every part of the country no thanks to boko haram, Mend, massob, opc, kidnappers etc etc

We all wish Nigeria to be great but the present realities go in a parallel way with genuine investment.

Politics › Re: Dont Allow APGA Die,’ Bianca Begs Supporters by HAH: 9:46am On Mar 03, 2013
The truth is APGA is already death and they died by committing a suicide of allying with PDP,

The Igbo should hold APGA strongly as their identity, they can never be president if they sopport PDP because PDP has 15 governors in the north and having only 3 in the SE and 8 in the entire south.
Politics › Re: 2015: PDP Leaders Move To Dump Sambo by HAH: 9:31am On Mar 03, 2013
The person they want to replace Sambo with is Shema of katsina, the truth is that they are the same thing apart from Katsina where does shema have any influence,

The governors with cloud in the north west are wammako,Lamido and kwankwaso and I believe all of them will never want to be any VP but the president itself
Investment › Re: How To Invest In Federal Government Bonds by HAH: 7:03pm On Mar 02, 2013
chachal: Buying govt bonds is like gambling on its sovereignty. The returns is high and very close to being risk free. Like its said, no risk no reward
I would rather take risk in other visible investment like real estate, Gold and commodity trading, I have no trust in anything government

Investment › Re: How To Invest In Federal Government Bonds by HAH:
blank: A country cannot default in paying bonds. It is impossible. They will rather issue new bonds at a higher interest rate to pay back. It is a very big deal to default. That is why they are called risk free bonds cos there is no issue of them defaulting.
My friend can you buy bond issued by Somalia or Mali, "once bitten twice shy" I will never invest in anything invincible
Investment › Re: How To Invest In Federal Government Bonds by HAH: 9:28pm On Mar 01, 2013
I will never invest in anything government due to the following reasons

1, Another government can come in and refuse redeeming it.

2, Nigeria is an oil dependent country with the possibility of US starting to explore it oil reserves in 2017 and many other coutries discovering oil there is very possibility of oil going for less than 20 dollar per barrel which means less money to states how can they redeem it.

3, The possiblity of war or riots everywhere due to the present realities in Nigeria

Business › Re: First Bank 'First Monie' Mobile Money by HAH: 4:24pm On Mar 01, 2013
Gudwil: yes you are very correct. If you have an agent in your neighbourhood, you go to him to make deposit (cash-in). You will give him cash, then he will give you the equivalent amount of e-money into your mobile wallet. You can do both cash-in and cash-out at the neighbourhood agent. I hope this makes it clear now bro.
My brother thanks for your response, to be frank you have made me to try this mobile money, I will give it a try, keep the good work and be focused. Cheers

Politics › Is Goodluck Jonathan On His First Or Second Term ? by HAH(op): 9:31pm On Feb 27, 2013
Good day house, this is a question that many are arguing about, I want us in this forum to discuss intellectually if Gej is on his first or second term in office taking cognizance of the fact that he has so far been sworn in twice into office, also on the implications of the possibility of staying for 10 years in office if he wins the 2015 elections against the 8 years constitutional mandate.

The floor is open.

Investment › Re: Interest Rate On Fixed Deposit Accounts In Nigeria by HAH: 7:15pm On Feb 26, 2013
jerk: which bank has the best interest rate on fixed deposit acct.
hrmgr: @jerk my company can give you 14% on N10m for 360days, we have very good rates, give us a try!
My brother considering the fact that inflation rate averagely 12% don't you think 14% is low considering the fact that you will deduct 10% of the interest as WHT and also at what rate are you lending it out I guess something above 24% all in?

@jerk the best rate are in MFB's due to the fact that they lent out most at 10% flat which means 120%pa so deposit rate as well may be high but mind you the risk too is very high
Business › Re: First Bank 'First Monie' Mobile Money by HAH:
Gudwil: Your phone number will be your account number, you don't have to own a bank account. I'm an agent of FirstMonie.
My brother , yes is possible to have your phone number as account number but certainly deposit most be made somewhere weather you call it account or anything
Investment › Re: Interest Rate On Fixed Deposit Accounts In Nigeria by HAH: 9:27am On Feb 26, 2013
Advice : when negotiating for rates always take cognizance of inflation rate, it must be higher than inflationn any investment less than inflation rate means you are loosing money no matter the amount.

Always have it at the back of your mind that fixed deposit is an investment account not a savings so expect returns
Investment › Re: Interest Rate On Fixed Deposit Accounts In Nigeria by HAH: 9:22am On Feb 26, 2013
EMO GROUP: Go and start up a business if you want better returns on your Money, if you are generous and work with leverage, you might even make up to or more than 100 percent of your Money in a year. Just make use of your head or employ professionals to do it for you while you earn your cash. Simple as that!!
Fixed deposit account is an investment account not all people have time to trade by themselves. the risk is less than trader hence the low return, However if you are risk taker make your fixed deposit with micro finance bank as their rates are higher.

Politics › Re: Jonathan To Empower Ministers Against Governors by HAH: 3:45pm On Feb 25, 2013
What a useless thought, who is a minister to challenge a governor, the governors are the strongest bloc in the polity as they control the delegates moreso the northern governors forum which has 15 PDP governors will decide his fate while Gej banks on SS and SE I would like to remind him that Kano delegates alone is almost three time that of Bayelsa or Akwa ibom.

His best bet is to pally this governors and play the mumu so that he can get what he want if not this gragra will not give him second term especially now that most of the governors are in their final terms.
