Nigeria is a Jungle, please do the military have a patent for camo ? beside these days they wear many shades of green camo infact they even use blue camo.

My guy just avoid it, I have one camo. Trouser which is by hikers i only use it abroad despite the fact that I was once in the military circle, and have so many senior officers friends, especially now with BH .

One thing I like with the ivorians for is the fact that they came with a cup winning mentality anything short of that is a failure while other mediocre country are satisfied with just quater or semi finals

that's the spirit in anything if you want to succeed. Don't ever think of being second.

Amalaaba: Sir,
If it was America that announced this achievement you will not question it, but you have been biased by extreme media (BBC, CNN) that you can not live your life with GOOD stories from countries the west considers enemy.

You cannot dispute the facts. Let me mention a few that you will never hear or see on CNN and BBC: Pakistan is self sufficient in Food production and are at least 40 years ahead of Nigeria. There are 7 car manufacturing companies in Iran for local and export markets. Iran produces over 60% of all machinery and equipment used in its oil/military industries. And so on....... despite sanctions for over 30 years for refusing American hegemony through imposition of leaders on them.
Thank you. You are so on point

Those saying that there is low population let me give you a simple logic on population density:

When you take 1 million people and put into ebonyi they will be densely populated cos of the small land mass now if you take those same 1 million people to Gombe they will be sparsely populated due to the fact that Gombe is like 5 times ebonyi.

My brother ordinary ethiopia o and let me be honest if you ask experts there are possibilities that the match was fixed,

Just go back and watch the game and compare with other games found to have been fixed in the past.

Anyhow am happy that they scaled through but that amount is ridiculous

Boko Haram has been split the government own set up by Ali Modu Sheriff and the Al qaeda one, the goverment arm has ceased fire to start preparing toward 2015, the Al qaeda arm is now JAMBS the truth is that JAMBS is not restricted to north or Borno.
Why must Buhari contest? Don't we have other vibrant and eloquent leaders in the country? I think the old fox general need to chill out and allow younger and more energetic folks captain the ship. Heck, a country with life expectancy of 48 shouldn't be led by an octogenarian IMO.
I agree with you but age is nothing but a number we need him to do only one term to start the war against corruption then he can retire, by the way a lot of world leaders have rules above 70 people like churchill, castro, bellusconi, mugabe, reagan, wade etc

Boko Haram has actually splited, those controlled by politicians and those from al qaeda the politicians controlled ones are ceasing fire to start ground work toward 2015 while the the al qaeda controlled once are now Jamaatu Ansarul Muslimina Bil Sudan (JAMBS)
Foreign Affairs › Re: Mali: Al-qaeda Allies Plot Revenge Attacks In Nigeria by HAH: 4:03pm On Jan 28, 2013
If you check the media they are reporting the malian rebels are running away not being killed now this means that they will re group and use a different strategy most likely gurriella war which is not easy to quash.

Nigeria with its high population and diversity is a good ground to be anonymous and strike later.

Jambs is more concerned with foreigners and have the capacity to go even to the south because it membership cut across ethnicity in Nigeria unlike Boko Haram which is mainly in the north and have a political undertone .

Now this operation is not a military one the mistake being made is using soldiers which can never work, that is why afghanistan is still there with no change, Iraq has never being the same since the war what Nigeria need do is make massive recruitment into sss, and mobilize them everywheren the truth is the the sss is the most effective security outfit in Nigeria, all the gra gra of soldiers can never work, but intelligence.

Politics › Re: Official Politics Weekly Debate #1 - Debaters Wanted by HAH: 1:31pm On Jan 28, 2013
Those who ague along religious line have no case at all cos all their reference is on some religious text which can be a fairytale.

This debate to me should be along moral grounds, now the question is ,is homosexuality right morally ? If yes then make your point if NO then make your point taking cognisance of the fact that you are stopping someone from expressing his personal feelings that has not affected anybody negatively.
Politics › Re: Official Politics Weekly Debate #1 - Debaters Wanted by HAH: 12:59pm On Jan 28, 2013
In the past children get married at an early age but nowadays is a taboo, in the past polygamy is the order of the day but these days is a taboo top many in the same vain homosexuality has been a taboo but it is certain being gradually accepted

The Nigerian government should concentrate on making available the goodies of life rather than wasting on something that is absolutely personal

NB I have never been a gay and will never be.
Politics › Re: Official Politics Weekly Debate #1 - Debaters Wanted by HAH: 12:49pm On Jan 28, 2013
On religious ground homosexuality is a crime and taboo infact in islam it is punishable by death and even a person that see it is punished.

Socially homosexuality has been in existence from creation of man however it is a taboo but gradually gays are now coming to term with their feelings and opening up on their sexuality and in some nation even given rights.

In a secular society ones sexuality is a personal affair and the best treatment for it is the " don't ask don't tell approach"

Nigeria has a choice of either being a religious or secular state, if it is a religious state then it is okay to criminalise gays but if it claims to be a secular state then gays should be given their rights or atleast l don't ask don't tell.
