I think we are all failing to see the message in the message

"That (message) is that America should not dream of security until we enjoy it as a reality in Palestine," he added.
The authenticity of the statement could not immediately be verified, said AFP, but Al-Jazeera said the voice was bin Laden's.
"Had we been able to deliver our messages to you in words, we would not have sent them by planes," the statement said.
"It is not fair that you (America) enjoy a good life while our brothers in Gaza endure the worst standard of living. Therefore, God willing, our attacks against you will continue as long as you maintain your support to Israel,” it added.

The lives of palestinians in the Gaza strip is totally deporable, Isreali armed forces continually and in the full glare of the 'international community' evict legal palestinian home owners from their homes, and then right in front of the evictees, move jewish families right in to their former homes, and then drape the walls of the homes with the isreali flag. Isreal built a 'great wall of gaza' to wall off all the inhabitants of the Gaza strip in the name of security, for you to get from point A in the gaza stip to point B just outside the gaza strip you need to go round the wall, thats totally insane and you can imagine how crippling that will be for any economic activity, Isreal carries a countless number of airstrikes on 'terrorsit locations' killing a few terrorsits if any, but a whole lot of innocent civilians, Isreal commits all sorts of atrocities against the palestinian folk, but the US continually supports them, just recently Obama gave an order to Binyamin Netanyahu that isreal should stop building settlements on the gaza strip, netanyahu disobeyed and continued building and evicting palestinians, America did not even blink, Hilary Cliton did chide isreal but it was a very very feeble attempt.

I dont support Bin laden techniques but i must say there is an element of truth in what he is saying, Washington should restrict Isreal and help develop, create & stabilise a palestinian state, then all the terror attacks will stop.

My two cents
Politics / Re: Unbelievable: Ex Nigerian Presidents Gets Pay Raise From N250m To N2bn Annually by hahaha2(m): 5:41pm On Jan 06, 2010
Please stop insulting our intelligence. The original intention was to give these non deserving leaders a salary increase of btw 50-100% but you feed us with this crazy and unrealistic increase that makes everyone scream and then you reduce it to a level that the people then class as acceptable.

Nobody is insulting the collective intelligence of the nation or your intelligence to be more precise, from what i think you were not present while Mr Adeosun came up with this proposal, so you can only speculate about his true intentions and that my friend is not good enough.

Well, I'd like to say to you that not a single one of them is deserved of any remuneration. There is a thing called performance related pay (PRP) which means we should be able to see some form of an improvement in the life of the common man. This is not the case and so the whole pay should be scrapped.

How can you judge if the ex-presidents are deserving or not, what is your means of jugdement.

Let me tell u guys something, these politicains were not sent from the darkest pits of hell to deal out untold horrors on the citizens of Nigeria, they are men and women like us, and they have blood flowing through their viens.

However the gift of wisdom is not eqaully amongst all human beings, so this proposal was developed in all of Mr Adeosun wisdom, and i think its a good idea to reward former leaders of the counrty.

Where i disagree with Mr Adeosun proposal is the %increase in the salaries from 250million to 2billion, which represents a 700% increase that in my opinion is just too much, a 50-100% increase will be more in line with the current harsh economic climate in the country and the world as a whole.

Secondly only deserving leaders should be paid these benefits, not every tom and harry that ruled Nigeria. "Deserving leaders" can be ascertained by an independent panel, this in turn will reward good governance.

Please lets learn to give construtive criticism, am sure Nigeria is not the only counrty to pays past leaders some form of emolument.
Politics / Re: Unbelievable: Ex Nigerian Presidents Gets Pay Raise From N250m To N2bn Annually by hahaha2(m): 12:28am On Jan 06, 2010
Funny *wry smile*, trully and trully funny,

Have got a better idea for them, Instead of rewarding any tom and D i c k(Moderator d i c k na person name as well)who has occupied Nigeria's seat of power, rewards/emoluments are disbursed to only deserving ex-presidents.

How will they achieve this you may ask? Well an independent panel can determine how well the country faired; Outgoing presidents come to the panel to present their various reports, the panel comes to a decision based on the info, and then gives a recommendation to the senate to either include or exclude president from pensions and/or salaries.

That way good governance is rewarded.

Criticism wont work on the worst of fiends, even Alcapone never accepted guilt for his crimes, we need workable solutions not criticism.

♫ BASKET MOUTH DON OPEN MOUTH AGAIN ♪

The Nigerian president Yaradua wants to align Nigeria, with the 'unholy twins' Russia and China, who will support anything the US, UK, UN, NATO, EU ad the entire 'free world' DON'T support, and vice-versa, next thing that will come out of his Eczema riddled tongue is that he is pro-China and understands and supports their oppression of the Tibetan people. Yaradua should watch who he sleeps with in bed, because that may just lead to his downfall and our collective downfall as a nation.

Maybe the statement was made in hindsight that some years down the line Russia and China would be greater than the US AND THE EU combined, which like another total eclipse of the sun, is not happening anytime soon.

After Yaradua's 4yrs as President it will take Nigeria 8 yrs to recover from the harm he has done to our collective being as a nation and our image internationally. His policies and stances are very anti-progressive, anti-human, anti-masses, and anti-social, you aim to attract direct foreign investment from the west, yet you make statements that will only attract Investment from Russia and serbia.

OBJ foulest deed as President was to impose this clueless chemistry teacher named Yaradua upon us.

If i were in an employer of labour and someone came into my office looking for a job, 32 yr old,OND holder, and zero job experience. The first que i ask the guy is "WHAT WERE You DOIN ALL THE WHILE" no certifications, no extra degree, no nothing, that clearly shows a distinct lack of ambition on the guys part, no matter how much he wants the job or how fast he thinks he can learn on the job, i wont give him the job.

But if on the other hand i see a 32yr old,OND holder, zero job experience, but a truck load a certifications to buffer the zero experience factor, and he can prove to me that those certifications were no fluke, then i will be willing to give this second candidate a chance over the first. "just my view"

So Bottom line put yourself in a position were someone can actually help you, do a course, do something, anything u can to better your resume.

One of my most memorable April fools, happened when i was back in school, it was early momo and the whole hostel was starvin waiting for the bread sellers to come relieve our bellies of the absolute torture they were going through, the next thing we heard over the speakers was the porter announcing the bread sellers were around, and believe me if u don't get in that line first u probably wont get any bread, so you can just imagine the melee that followed, the whole hostel rushed downstairs, boys in towel, boxers and every.
Imagine like 200 hungry boys trying to get into one small line it was absolute chaos.

Only for the bastard porter to shout "APRIL FOOL" with a big smile on his face, which immediately evaporated once he saw the look and intent on our faces, before he cud say J O K I N, , them bundle the guy out almost beat him to a comatose, and warned never to try that again.

Lesson:Never play APRIL FOOL with an hungry man.

Happy "April Fool" guys.

You made some good points but,

Most of the young players you mentioned got a large number of their caps in 'B' team friendlies as well as subs appearances.Domenech is a very pragmatic coach and to a large extent no matter what these young guns do in training or how exceptional their talent is malouda, henry, ribery, wil still start ahead of Them(Ben arfa, benzema and Nasri). Domenech dosen't like to stir things up.

The reason why evra has had a few caps for a long time is because he was an average player trying to get into an exceptional french team, but now its kinda the other way around considering the fact that Patrice has improved is game over the last two seasons or so. Some players are late developers and usually peak when they are between the ages of 27&29 probably Evra is one.

You can tell us Abidal was outdone by Odonkor, In the EPL how many outstanding skill full and pacy winger play against Evra the only one in the EPL plays in Man Utd - Ronaldo
I hope u aren't insinuating that Odonkor is actually an outstanding player, as regards to your question there are a lot of outstanding wingers in joe cole, malouda, lenon, bentley just to name a few. Wing football is an endeagered tatic in spanish football, none of the big teams actually make use of wingers anymore, but wing football is still alive and kicking in England, england defiantely has a lot more and a lot better wingers.

and what makes evra good in offensive,ho in that crap league of yours.abidal was raped by a garman machine, that is the quality of the liga,if he was good then the french coach whould have used him, against england, instead he opt for abidal and they where strong both offensive and deffensive grin

My crappy league as four teams in the UCL quarter finals, yours as only one.

Raymond Domenech is the kind of coach that does not like to try new things, once he has his mind made up on a particular starting 11 its very hard to break in. Ask Trezeguet(France top scorer this season after Benzema), Evra provides more of an attacking threat.

I didn't say the Bristish are not capable of match-fixing what i said was that if there was any hint of any such activities, it would have been in the papers by now.

Essien was booked twice and did not see red(liverpool-Chelsea at anfield)
the same ref gave Chelsea controversial penalty.
the list is endless.

English refs are generally poor, thats why they dont call many of them to ref any important matches outside England checkout Graham Poll in the world cup, or was he match-fixing then as well?
Sports / Re: Between Evra And Abidal by hahaha2(m): 2:43pm On Mar 30, 2008
Adibal's short comings are clear to see when he is up against a winger who posses any form of pace and guile, most recently David Odonkor(remember him from the world cup Germany's Ikedia) in the Betis - Barcelona game, once Odonkor came on he caused Abidal all sort of problems, so Abidal ain't so solid defensively, and in an attacking sense Abidal dosent come anywhere close to Evra. Patrice makes that whole left flank is domain boming from one goal kick line to the other, and he aint so bad defensively either.

So taking that into cognizance i will pick Evra ahead of Abidal, Abidal just edges Evra in the defensive aspect, while Evra is leaps and bounds ahead of Abidal in the offensive department.

So its Evra for me.
Note:Not a Man u fan

if there was any report of match-fixing in Britain, be it confirmed or unconfirmed reports, them tabloids would have definitely carried the story on their front pages to sell papers, the British press will print anything from Alex Ferguson gambling on a horse that was indicted in a match fixing scandal to David beckham and ferguson having a dressing room bust-up.

But once it comes to the royal family they are a tad bit reluctant to release any incriminating news reports.
