People investing away from their country has been a way of growing wealth faster than anything else. But I have come to understand that those rules that made white nations superior don't apply to predominantly black nations. I, being an Igbo guy personally wouldn't dare to invest in the north, Abuja included, come to think of it Abuja is fake, what makes a place like Abuja expensive if not for stolen funds from politicians?

That said, every tribe has touts amongst them, all the touts from Igbo land are led by Nnamdi Kanu, why is he a tout? just critically listen to that guy, on radio Biafra saying that he will "get Biafra peace or violence like never seen before" I understand if ojukwu said this, cause he was actually a military tactician and hard conventional hardware at his disposal, but a complete civilian who knows nothing about military warfare making such statements proves he lack what it takes to lead educated people, now if you don't believe me how about him saying that majority of Igbo ladies are harlots. If this does not convince you that him and his followers on nairaland are touts I don't know what will. Most of his followers on nairaland are youths suffering from chronic joblessness and frustration. They are convinced that getting a new country will solve their problems. But they are too daft to understand that putting rotten eggs in a new bag won't change the situation of the eggs.

Yorubas are in my opinion the smartest and most accommodating people in Nigeria , ( let me add that the greatest act of bravery in Nigeria was showcased by a Yoruba man) . , but they certainly have their own touts. Besides under bridge at oshodi the next place to find them is on nairaland. Inciting violence, urging igbos to start a war so they can grab their properties. My advice to you is to go get a job. You are getting old, what you wish might not happen in your lifetime.

Northerners? The biggest problem they have is that there are a 80% more touts in the north than any other part of nigeria. If you meet the right northerner you might want to ask God why he did not create you a northerner.

All Nigerians should try and understand that politicians from all tribes are their enemy and not the next guy who does not speak their language.

You do know the police needs a warrant to search your vehicle right?

You do realise that a stop and search checkpoint need to be backed by a signed warrant from a judge with the appropriate jurisdiction right?

You also realise that you have a right to privacy as per the constitution right?

You also know that the only time an officer has the right to search your vehicle without a warrant is if he has "probable cause" to do so right? And in this case there was none.

Know your rights my friend. This man was well within his rights to refuse that search.

And the excuse of "if you have nothing to hide" does not take away ones right to privacy.

If an officer has no rights to search your bags, house, phones or laptop without a warrant, what makes you think it is okay for them to search your vehicle without one?

Do you know the difference between a legal and illegal checkpoint? Have you tried to see how a police checkpoint affects your constitutional right to "freedom of movement"?

Don't be in a rush to come at me with insults as all I am trying to get you to do is find out more about your rights and privileges under the law and how the Police does not have the powers to violate or vacate those rights without a warrant.


I just find it shocking how ignorant of the law and their rights a lot of Nigerians are. I went through all the comments here and nobody seems to see that the Police Officers were actually violating that man's right by invading his privacy without a warrant. Some people even said "Why not obey order", meanwhile the same people applauded the guy who refused to open the door of his house when the police came to search it at night. The same people saying "if he has nothing to hide why not comply" come here to insult the police when they stop people on the street and demand to search their phones and laptops. I just thought to point out the ignorance of many Nigerians which is why the Police have been acting like there is no law guiding their operations thereby violating people's rights on a daily basis.

If you doubt me, find a good lawyer and ask him.

Real exploring is when someone like me quit my job, acquire a DSLR camera, get a website, and start moving from one place to another to get informations and images.

Sometimes streets, villages, tourist attractions, old structures, hidden places from one town, city state, to another and country to country.

Its quite expensive, ive read profiles of successful adventurers, explorers, travel photographers.

They spent thousands of dollars on transportation, accommodation, food and visas to their destinations before getting their goal.

Most times you pay for capturing some images or getting informations.

Most people willing to be explorers cant afford this.

To avoid that, asuokaa made a suggestion that one can start small from local destinations or getting a job in an organization that can sponsor(BBC).

Firstly, I have to admit I created a new account to get this much needed help.
Ok, So I met my girlfriend sometime last year and just recently we celebrated our 1 year anniversary as lovers.
Truth be told, she is an amazing personality; submissive, loving, caring, intelligent and hardworking. Infact, she's got a large portion of attributes that any man would want in a woman.
When we first met, I noticed really that she has alot of online friends whom she usually chat with as close friends (or maybe lovers sha). I kept cool thinking it ll just pass when things get serious between us. During this period she told me how she got close with one of those online guys that she requests porn clips from him. Fortunately or unfortunately, I know this guy ( he is my friend gan sef), I just allowed the matter lay low and warned her never to ask him or any other guy for such things as it reduces the respect any person has for the lady and she promised not to. This is because I dont want anyone disrespecting and disregarding her whenever she s been introduced to family and friends.
Alas! I caught my babe, requesting porn video from another of her online friends (I don't know this guy tho..) Once more. She assured me that she just did it coz she hasn't seen this guy before so its safe to ask him, Unlike the previous guy that they do see.
After this occurrence, I ve caught her flirting with friends on facebook messenger to the extent that they refer to her as 'my love' some even call her 'my wife'. More saddening is that some of them are mutual friends and are guys I really know. She claims they are the ones disturbing her and she has no feelings for anyone of them except me ; Her First love.
Fast Forward to present day, we started having a bigger issue now which is about to bring the relationship to halt. Four days back while we were chatting she asked if I know any guy answering so so name. I check my friends list and answered NO. That question kept pondering my heart so I decided to log into her facebook account. (I Later got to know her password after I helped her change password once). I came to understand that the guy she just asked about and herself had just been friends and as usual, she is showing this guy green light and flirting seriously with him (someone that she's yet to see o and just met for that matter)..
I decided to break the relationship. But surprisingly she kept reaffirming me that there s nothing between her and the guy that its just facebook friendly chatting.

PLEASE ladies and matured people in the house. Is it really possible that she actually mean what she is saying? do ladies still really behave this way after which they are in a relationship with someone they claim to love Or maybe I am the one overeacting here?
