LaClicKLaBenDin: That "dude in Israel" who 'allegedly' died for the sins of the world, is the reason why you can afford to call the Almighty God a dummy and still breathing.
May God have mercy on your soul and that of those who are in support of your ridicule of God, by liking this piece of writing.
I have long decided to stop engaging people like you here, but I can't help but pity you.
If you honestly regard yourself as being wise, being able to discern between right and wrong to the extent of knowing how silly Christians are and their Creator, and yet you believe that that wisdom of yours came from a random fusion of atoms to form a very intelligent being as you, then you should honestly question that wisdom of yours...
It's quite sad that the very minute and infinitesimal wisdom and intelligence that God gave to man, has become the biggest problem to man himself to the extent that he now thinks he knows more than God. Now, who is wondering why God asked Adam and Eve not to eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, that's because He knew what man would become with time.
It's that same 'knowledge of good and evil' that has led to people like you to think that they know what is right and wrong more than the One who gave you that ability. That is why you can afford to call the Almighty a dummy!
May God have mercy on us all... A tirade of nonsense I expect nothing less |

Christianity Etc › Re: Christians Was King Solomon Really Wise?? by hahn(m): 10:40pm On Jan 13, 2017 |
op, the thing is Christians and their god Jehovah are not very wise themselves
First, Jehovah created man then regretted and drowned everyone, allegedly because of sin, but the same thing it drowned "the whole world", including innocent children, still persists till today.
Then the dummy went ahead to burn everyone in Sodom and Gomorrah, allegedly because of homosexuality, including women and innocent children, who were not homosexuals, and homosexuals still exists.
Now, you have to be a real dummy to believe in such silly stories and also believe, as Africans, that a dude in Israel died for your sins even though himself, the dude in Israel, will still burn people in hell for sin. Silly isn't it.
So, when Christians say King Solomon is wise they are only judging based on their own foolishness because only a foolish person can refer to stupidity and mediocrity as wisdom |

Christianity Etc › Re: Who Is A True Christian? Let's Ask Some Major Christian Sects by hahn(m): 5:19pm On Jan 13, 2017 |
Junia: A dictionary definition of a Christian would be something similar to “a person professing belief in Jesus as the Christ or in the religion based on the teachings of Jesus.” While this is a good starting point, like many dictionary definitions, it falls somewhat short of really communicating the biblical truth of what it means to be a Christian. The word “Christian” is used three times in the New Testament ( Acts 11:26 ; 26:28 ; 1 Peter 4:16 ). Followers of Jesus Christ were first called “Christians” in Antioch ( Acts 11:26 ) because their behavior, activity, and speech were like Christ. The word “Christian” literally means, “belonging to the party of Christ” or a “follower of Christ.” Unfortunately over time, the word “Christian” has lost a great deal of its significance and is often used of someone who is religious or has high moral values but who may or may not be a true follower of Jesus Christ. Many people who do not believe and trust in Jesus Christ consider themselves Christians simply because they go to church or they live in a “Christian” nation. But going to church, serving those less fortunate than you, or being a good person does not make you a Christian. Going to church does not make you a Christian any more than going to a garage makes you an automobile. Being a member of a church, attending services regularly, and giving to the work of the church does not make you a Christian. The Bible teaches that the good works we do cannot make us acceptable to God. Titus 3:5 says, “He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.” So, a Christian is someone who has been born again by God ( John 3:3 ; John 3:7 ; 1 Peter 1:23 ) and has put his or her faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8 tells us that it is “…by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” Therefore, a Christian puts faith and trust in the person and work of Jesus Christ, including His death on the cross as payment for sins and His resurrection on the third day. John 1:12 tells us, “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” The mark of a true Christian is love for others and obedience to God’s Word ( 1 John 2:4 , 10). A true Christian is indeed a child of God, a part of God’s true family, and one who has been given new life in Jesus Christ. At least if you will copy and paste junk add the link to where you got the write up from. Ever heard of plagiarism? |

Christianity Etc › Re: FIVE Sons Of God Almighty And Their Attributes by hahn(m): 5:08pm On Jan 13, 2017 |
Junia: Religion is “the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.” In that respect, Christianity can be classified as a religion. However, practically speaking, Christianity has a key difference that separates it from other belief systems that are considered religions. That difference is relationship. Most religion, theistic or otherwise, is man-centered. Any relationship with God is based on man’s works. A theistic religion, such as Judaism or Islam, holds to the belief in a supreme God or gods; while non-theistic religions, such as Buddhism and Hinduism, focus on metaphysical thought patterns and spiritual “energies.” But most religions are similar in that they are built upon the concept that man can reach a higher power or state of being through his own efforts. In most religions, man is the aggressor and the deity is the beneficiary of man’s efforts, sacrifices, or good deeds. In that regard, Christianity is not a religion; it is a relationship that God has established with His children. In Christianity, God is the aggressor and man is the beneficiary ( Romans 8:3 ). The Bible states clearly that there is nothing man can do to make himself right with God ( Isaiah 53:6 ; 64:6 ; Romans 3:23 ; 6:23 ). According to Christianity, God did for us what we cannot do for ourselves ( Colossians 2:13 ; 2 Corinthians 5:21 ). Our sin separates us from His presence, and sin must be punished ( Romans 6:23 ; Matthew 10:28 ; 23:33 ). But, because God loves us, He took our punishment upon Himself. All we must do is accept God’s gift of salvation through faith ( Ephesians 2:8–9 ; 2 Corinthians 5:21 ). Grace is God’s blessing on the undeserving. Christianity is not about signing up for a religion. Christianity is about being born into the family of God ( John 3:3 ). It is a relationship. Just as an adopted child has no power to create an adoption, we have no power to join the family of God by our own efforts. We can only accept His invitation to know Him as Father through adoption ( Ephesians 1:5 ; Romans 8:15 ). When we join His family through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside our hearts ( 1 Corinthians 6:19 ; Luke 11:13 ; 2 Corinthians 1:21–22 ). He then empowers us to live like children of the King. He does not ask us to try to attain holiness by our own strength, as religion does. He asks that our old self be crucified with Him so that His power can live through us ( Galatians 2:20 ; Romans 6:6 ). God wants us to know Him, to draw near to Him, to pray to Him, and love Him above everything. That is not religion; that is a relationship. Funny but Muslims, Jews and adherents of other religions say the same thing |
