Not has, had.
And yes, despite all odds Christianity conquered the world just before Islam came. And all other gods bowed before the Most High!
When exactly did this happen? Was there a competition? Was there a "most high" coronation ceremony? What was the criteria used to judge god as the "most high"(and don't tell me they smoked weed)? What other "gods" were in attendance?

You know na, the nitty griity

The bible publishers will lose the case. The bible will be eventually outlawed or relegated to myth and forbidden in public places. Hatred for Christianity will increase and those who practise it will be publicly ridiculed(already happening). It has been foretold already.
The early writers were indeed aware that their knowledge would eventually become outdated so they decided to excuse their ignorance with the "end of the world" mantra.

Development, change are inevitable, knowledge will always be improved upon and old ways will be abandoned.

Its quite unfortunate that no one thought about suing bible publising companies earlier over scriptures in the bible that promote war, slavery, lynching(the hell fire story), stealing, rape, the threat of eternal damnation, extortion etc.

That mean you are a christain. you love your religion too well and still claims to detest it.

Check your previous post.

You sound agnostic here but later confirmed that you are a fundamentalist Christ..

If you are still having confusions on these so called religion and god, i recommend some books like "the gods delusion", god is not great, how religion poisoned everything ". If you have access to unlimited data, you can hit youtube and listen to some interesting debates.

If the other gods were so powerful then they should have allowed their worshippers to dominate the world. So far Christianity is the only religion that conquered the world despite all odds so their God must be a powerful one.
How has christianity conquered the world? Please elaborate

God should be able to also appear in court and defend the publishers. Afterall, they were only publishing his word.

This should be interesting

The irony is that if people really really believed in the existence of god, prayer would be redundant.

The sun rises everyday whether we acknowledge it or not. It is only something whose existence is doubtful that requires constant attempts at communication and appeasement.

Prayer is an act of doubt, a subtle protest against unrealized expectations from the toothfairy.

If your prayer was heard yesterday, then what is the point of repeating it today, unless, of course, you are not sure whether the message was picked up at the other side.

In this way, prayer is sort of lottery, the more you play /pray, the better your odds APPEAR.
They doubt because they lack faith. In this modern world all they need to do is pay tithe constantly and all will be well.

You are also invited to my echurch where we will meet up with the Lord and channel our tithes and offerings to him.

Amen

The Lord loves you.

All those things you are referring to are in the old testament. Now, all you have to do is pay your tithe constantly and all your prayers shall be answered. The devil is only trying to confuse you so that you don't enjoy the holy paradise.

Remember, the Lord's ways are not yours.

Stay blessed

As a sharp guy, make I book space for your church. Where should I send my CV? I have the gift to heal anything, from mumu-ness to ode-ci-ty.
We are sorry to inform you that we will not be able to employ you into our holy establishment. The major factor for our decision is the fact that you possess the gift to heal mumu-ness and ode-city. These are the requirements we need for our church members and your gift will definitely impede our growth.

We will like to use this opportunity to invite you, as a member, to our launch. We also hope you'd have gotten treatment for your "gift" so as to avoid you "spoiling show" for us.

Business › Re: Can The Poor Be Truly Happy? by hahn(m): 2:31pm On Jul 11, 2015
The poor can never be happy because the only things that can be attributed to poverty are depression, lack, want, low self esteem, inferiority complex, anger(a hungry man is an angry man) etc.

However, being poor is really a state of mind. There are people who have so much material possessions but still possess the attributes of a "poor" person.

Therefore, being poor is not neccessarily a lack of material wealth but a lack of contentment, fulfilment, love(to one's self and others).

That said, a "poor" person can never truly be happy

No be only floating. . . the book was probably written in the 19th century and you know as usual heaped with mythical mysticism imbedded in nonsensical superstition. . . people as you know are too full of fear because the type of superstition they are imbedded with are just pitiful. . . there is absolutely nothing with the book . . .Na im float pass
Kikikiki.

I've often wondered though, why do we even bother? These christians and other religions seem to be happy with their fairy tale. I'm thinking of starting my own e-church.

Let me tell you one funny story. I had thise friend back in the day and we used to meet up in the ghetto to blow trees. Now, this guys was a chronic jay user and when we discussed he often told me of his "website" where he was able to make $5,000.

Well, after much stories, I decided to see for myself. So, after kissing mary j, we went to a cafe and I paid for 1hr browsing time for both of us. Then this guy opened us his website first, it had a picture of a pastor on a pulpit and then some "daily devotionals".

What really caught my attention was when he opened the email box where he had more than 1,000 messages. All testimonies, no spam on how my guy was able to "cure" numerous diseases, some which I couldn't even pronounce at the time, and how grateful they were for the "miracle".

So, here I was thinking to myself, this guy whom I know VERY WELL, who smokes grass like he is a cow and can barely afford to feed himself happened to also be a miracle worker. Never mind the fact that he hadn't been able to go online for the past 6 months. He even told me that an American came all the way to Nigeria and he connived with some "occult" guys to dupe the man of over $50,000. His share was the $5,000 he always talked about.

I'm soon going to drop my concern on whether theists believe the fact that they are only deceiving themselves and start my own business selling "miracles". Its a huge market and as a businessman I feel I'm letting a cool business opportunity pass me by grin grin

WELDONE.

Haba!!! Nigerians, are we this stingy??

Just imagine all those houses you are seeing, none of those houses is worth less than 2million. Yet, none can rise-up to the occassion.
Must the government do evrything for them? When you have the resources to better your Life and that of others, why not channel it there and get God's blessing?

They build beautiful houses, yet they have road that will destroy their vehicles.

A little deeds of kindness doesn't go unnoticed.

The World is a Dangerous place not because of the people who are evil but because of people who do NOTHING about it
@ first bolded. Brother, that's Lekki. None of those houses are worth less than N50m(If you're lucky). A 3 bedroom apartment will cost you 5-10m per annum in Lekki. In banana island a 3 bedroom flat is about $100,000 and above per annum.

Nigerians are not in the business of fixing things themselves. If the government can't do it, neither can we.

Some times, when you even attempt to do it the government will ask you not to, just because there are some people investing these allocations in their pot bellies.

There's this bizzare incidence in my own hood, Mosimi in Sagamu area. The redeemed christian church offered to fix the main road but the "elders" of the community asked them to pay 5m before they can start working on it.

The distillation of crude oil to its various components through which we get our fuel, gas, kerosene etc was made possible through the aromatization of the benzene ring. For a long time, chemists battled with the structure of the benzene ring so as to figure out how it works.
The mystery was eventually solved by August Kekule who said he discovered the structure of the benzene ring after having a dream of atoms dancing around in a circle until they formed a snake swallowing its own tail.

Kekule claims that he stopped writing and dozed off to sleep. He saw atoms whirling and dancing before his eyes. The atoms then began to reassemble themselves into long rows that seemed to move about in a snake-like motion. As he watched the snake dance, the vision progressed until the snake formed itself into an image.

Was this just mere coincidence or did Kekule's higher self assist him in solving the riddle of the benzene ring?
I believe that the subconscious sometimes tends to pass back some information we've downloaded, a deep thought, a solution to a problem visually via our dreams. I've had dreams where I see myself attending to some business problem or when I'm doing artwork. I've shared this experience with a fellow artist and he also said he had experienced such dreams
