I kinda feel sad this creature was killed, i wish it was captured alive and kept in a zoo for all to see because it is quite rare to come across a python this HUGE except in captivity.

It was killed in Epe,Lagos by some youths after it was found lying by the roadside…yep!..it was found lying by the roadside.

Our problem is that there is no proper blend of other races in our society and also the fact that whenever a "white" or "asian" comes to Nigeria, they come packaged. You hardly ever see an average European, American or Asian hustling on the streets of Lagos Island or attending a normal public school, know what I mean?

Also, whenever we eat "foreign" food its always expensive and in a fancy place. I guess those are some of the reasons why we tend to look down on our things. We don't see more of stuff from other races of ethnicities or race.

Let me try. Some of the reasons why we seem to observe this sad phenomenom are:

1) Lack of quality health care: When a Nigerian falls sick or is involved in an accident, really what he needs is a "miracle" because we lack the necessary and up to date facilities to perform successful healing procedures

2) Lack of electricity: due to lack of electricity which makes it difficult to successfully plan your day you have to resort to praying for a miracle to be able to perform simple tasks such as ironing your clothes for a job interview or even drink cold water

3) Lack of quality education: Most Nigerians are victims of a very deplorable educational system. Waec students of 2015 will still answer 1980 questions and study from 1980 textbooks. Imagine people who believe that bathing in salt water can cure ebola. Their minds are unable to process new ideas or detect that they are being brainwashed

4) Religion promotes hypocricy: A christian, for instance, can go to the club, take drugs, sleep with different women, lie, cheat, show envy, burn up "suspects" without a fair trial and will still boldy go to church on Sunday and ask for forgiveness and then believe they are qualified for "heaven". That's hypocricy

5) Lack of proper security: Since one can't dial 911 and expect the police at your doorstep within 5mins ready to "protect" you the only option is to expect help from above

If an average Nigerian can come home to a house with electricity, have access to quality health care, quality healthcare and is guaranteed a stable economy to run his business quality judiaciary system, proper crime solving and security procedures he wouldn't need to pray to god because his "problems" will already be solved

God created lucifer with "pride" which so happens to be the "origin" of his sin. Why did god create lucifer with pride in the first place if he knew it was going to lead him to sin?

Which brings us to the question, how did evil manifest itself in a perfect creature? It may be good to mention that evil is not a created thing—it is not a creature and has no independent being. Also, evil has no standard as goodness does; it is a lack, a deficiency, a falling short of the standard of God’s perfect goodness. All sin, no matter how trivial it may seem, falls short of moral perfection. God is always consistent with His perfect nature (Deuteronomy 32:4). All sin, therefore, must come from the creature, and the desire for evil comes from within the creature (James 1:14-15). Sin was “found” in Lucifer because of a choice that the angel made to seek something other than what God had chosen for him. Any time we seek “other” than God’s choice, we sin.

You just contradicted yourself in this comment. If the creature can be imperfect that automatically means the creator is also imperfect. A perfect being should be able to create perfection. Do you even know the meaning of "perfect"?

To say sin originated within God’s creatures does not mean God was surprised or caught unaware by it. Although God did not bring about sin, He certainly allowed it or it would not exist, since God is sovereign over all things. It’s true that He could have prevented sin, but that would have meant stripping His creation of its free will (Daniel 4:17; cf. Psalm 33:10-11). All His ways are good. In Him is “no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5), and He is right now working all things for His good pleasure (Romans 8:28; cf. Isaiah 46:9-10).

The mystery of evil and why God has allowed its reality with all of the suffering it causes may never be fully known in this world, but Scripture assures that evil is temporary. Once the culmination of God’s redemptive plan is complete, Jesus Christ will have destroyed the devil’s work forever (1 John 3:.

This last two paragraphs only point out god's incompetence. What happened to all the magic and "miracles" he is known for? So he could part the red sea, turn 5loaves of bread and 2 fish into millions and other crap but he couldn't take the initiative and NOT create lucifer with pride or even simply forgive lucifer and replace his pride with something else. Instead he has chosen to keep malice with lucifer and sentence the whole mankind into an endless battle of whom to serve.

I remember some years back....My father took me and his friend to a Chinese restaurant. I was so excited to try out some Chinese delicacy, as a result of been my first time at a Chinese resturant.

Then; Some waitress brought out a plate of soup and some meat inside of it....Calling it our first course....I remember looking at the plate with joy, and couldn't wait to dig in.

Then, i realized i had to re-adjust my glasses, just to make sure i actually wasn't hallucinating.....There it was....A frog with its let's wide open...stirring at me....My eyes were glued to the plate for a few secs
, then I finally recovered back to my senses, and kindly told her to take the plate back.

The waitress kept coming back to ask me if I wanted anything out of the menu, and even went as far as trying to tell give me other options with chicken in it....All I kept saying was "No thank you"......I ended up eating nothing at that restaurant. ....I even pushed away my drink. To really to duscribe the extent of disgust I had while sitting in that restaurant.

Ehya. You really missed out. Frog legs taste better than chicken. I love it

The concept of god is easily believed because deep down inside a "believer" they can actually justify killing or burning people who are "guilty". Just look around you,whenever a "thief" is caught all the so called "saved" ones are always quick to beat him/her up, strip them and then burn them up. With no sense of remorse or respect for fair judgement and still go to church/mosque on Sunday/Friday

But anyone who has really tried out WP and understand how it works will agree that Blogger is just mediocre.

I believe most Nigerian bloggers are attracted to blogger because of adsense. They are mostly ignorant of other methods of earning money via their blog
