Frankly if there is any Governor that seems to hurt my feelings towards APC... Kogi Governor falls into that category the most. That man continues to fail in his duty. Honestly am disappointed with him and the way he even spends time on things that really do not directly impact the majority in the state ehn! 1 Like |

FarahAideed: No one is gloating about nothing here...Often people don't do the right thing. Lets look at this how does a president in Abuja tell a force man in Taraba or other places not to act especially where the law men are made of all faith and tribe in a single brew. How will he achieve that? An order is not sufficient,we have heard of Maiduguri where the security men protest over allowances.I didn't here anyone ask them to do that! It goes to show you that not all negligence matter becomes the fault of government. Atimes the enforcers fail to be professional and it has nothing to do with the kind of rhetoric people spew. Although a start is report it to the appropriate quarters first with facts and then see it through rather than all the diversions and making of issues more complicated than expected. We have become so use to complicating things and helping the culprits escape under the clog of blaming everything on politics and ethno-religious mentality. |

Abi you get leprosy when it comes to acting through legal means. People just run all over the place with claims assumptions and evil mind set without doing what is right first. APC should simply do them the honors and expel the two or any other member of the party as involved. They continue to clearly engage in anti-party activities and the APC continues to watch them without penalizing them. Also they will keep destroying the party from within.Teh way APC is acting they may even encourage more defections. They have never being with APC, especially Saraki. Don't give them any glory act now! Stop acting cowardly and expel them now! So you can count your loses and start remediation. It's best you accept where you stand and make amends. All the delays or playing into there game will not change the equation. It is obvious and clearly open secret abegiii! Meanwhile the IGP needs to be fired frankly. That man will kill APC with his poor handling of many internal security matters in the nation.I won't blame the army because they are not suppose to be out there. If the police handled its roles effectively than always melting away or shying away from its fundamental objective of internal security, alot will be better. 1 Like |

Amberon11: Personally I think it's the other way around. CAN was in the habit of doing same always calling everything an Islamic plot or agenda. Now that everyone has join the act. Perhaps is a matter of time before both religion realize that they both need to have mutual respect for others. Also allow us have peace. We now have so called activist from both faith (Particularly CAN & MURIC) that will keep picking and pushing at each other for so called equal stake or fairness/justice. I know both faith talk about tolerance, respect for others and sacrifice for one another. I told a friend back in the days. Alot of Schools observed the Lords prayers and many of us pray in the xtian manner regardless of being Muslim and xtian student. Parents hardly cared and students only saw it as normal. My dad as a Muslim told me to join the boys scout or boys brigade in school. No one cared because even the moral content all pointed to good moral values that speak to both Muslims and Xtians. A year back I attended a Xtian wedding of my very good friend since child hood. All I heard was ranting about Muslims taking there women with material things and a whole lot more. That would translate to mistrust.Alot has changed over time, that people will frown at the way others go about there faith. All in the name of becoming more religiously aware. We have gradually turn extremist, fanatics, ethnocentric & bigots It should not be Misunderstood because it happens on both sides. We are becoming religiously intolerable and religiously bias. I wonder what happened to Being your neighbor's keeper. Now a days its about worldly religious conquest and envy. They want to dominate us or we need to protect our own. Although not a bad idea it is worse than the current arrangement. How can INEC check information integrity. At thee moment the best method is still manual for information integrity. Lastly will the phone line tell you the citizen of the voter? I mean that is if other bio data were not captured wrongly. I get why the senator is talking he may have seen his own way of rigging without having to pay many people but hack it from a single source. I salute your idea. But we never reach that's all I can say. As for vote selling,Only the electorate can stop that. Whether na by phone or the current arrangement, if i say I go sell vote to anyone. How do you stop me, since I am not complaining. |

ChiefAzubuike: Your pity should be with the victim. How she was killed and how she will be missed by her family and friends is enough to make you hang that fool. How she will not be there to fulfill her own dreams because someone was so wicked and daft to kill another person to make money.I mean she was about graduating and am sure her parents had expectations for her to also succeed in life and here she is dead because of him. I have no remorse or pity for him and I wish he suffers too. Her crime was to probably trust him, love and be with him. Today she is paid back in a violent way by someone who should ordinarily be protecting her as a normal boyfriend would. I even feel he should be stripped of the so called boyfriend status. He is just ritualistic and an opportunist/fraud. He deserves what ever he gets QED. Although I hope it's fair to the victim and her family. As for the family they have lost a loved one and its really sad. May her soul and many others rest in Peace.God have mercy on us all and guide us away from man or devils evil whisper. 32 Likes 2 Shares |

Asking him to decamp is not the only way.I though there are penalties for anti party activities APC should take the bull by the horn. They should sanction any member with anti-party activity where it's proven. They can suspend or expel them for there anti party activities. It is obvious some folks have remain in the APC to sabotage it or remain the conduit for negotiations/opportunity.They may also be doing so to ensure they don't lose out incase plan A fails. It is up to APC to find and clean all those with anti-party tendency. Don't expect them to decamp like that, cos some are like thick. They will suck the host until they kill it... 16 Likes 1 Share |

Politics / Re: Ben Bruce Faults Buhari On Commissioning Abuja Light Railway by hakanai(m): 6:45pm On Jul 12, 2018 |
Wallade: Its worth commissioning because alot more was added under the PMB gov. Especially the completion of more metros, rail lines and bridge on the project. The Abuja airport metro was not even 1/3 done during the GEj time. So yes it is worth commissioning.Even for the metro stations alone. That Picture of GEJ was for the IDU station to Kaduna and not the Abuja Metro leading to the satellite areas in Abuja as listed in the commissioning. Meanwhile am for such continuity. If projects are outstanding, they should be completed. No need to start new ones. Especially where they are far from finish. We have over 500 FGN projects uncompleted from previous governments. It will be stupid to initiate new ones if the abandon projects are important to national development. Complete It and take credit since it may have being a failed project if you choose to ignore it and start another. The approach of continuity is a wise one. I have not heard the current government take complete credit in anything regarding initiating projects but rather that of completing and commissioning which is also a credit. Initiating doesn't mean execution/implementing,completion etc it takes all the process to have a successful project. So na colobo.... 4 Likes |

The senator lies sha. When GEJ was in power, most of the metro stations, rails and bridges were not near completed to a large degree. The Pictures he shows are from the launch of the IDU station for Kaduna and Abuja rail line. Not the Abuja Metro as the senator lies about. If one is in Abuja the metro rail lanes, stations and bridges that connect the services can be seen to be largely done under the current dispensation. Using the Kaduna-Abuja rail service you can see alot on it was done under GEJ,although someone had to complete it.The present government indeed complete what was left of it. Folks in Abuja will note that the new extention of the International wing and the metro was never there during the GEJ era. It was more of site clearing. Also the metro station behind world trade center close to church gate was not near completed. The Metro close to the city gate after Wuye was not completed as well. The rail lines and the bridge after wuye were just excavated sites with water ponds. So to claim it was completed then is a blatant lie from the senator. Being in Abuja I have watched development on the metro rail to see how it would impact the populace in Abuja. All governments have tried to see it come to life but i can say it had gained far more traction and progress with pace under the current government. With completion of the stations, connecting the stations rail network and now kick-starting the service proper. Although the lines have largely excluded the heart of the city. Where people still struggle to get Nyanya,Karu and Masaka etc transit. If they can extend it that direction, the impact will be felt the most. People still find it hard to connect between the satellite towns and business districts causing grid locks and all that in the morning and close of business, despite the road expansions. The best means should be a mass transit option such as the rail service. It would have made sense also to have a station built next to Ministry of Finance behind Christian Ecumenical Center. That would have brought it closer to people from the secretariat and Central business area. Seeing the work on that part only for motorist. Abuja really needs an effective mass transit system. Since El-rufai left the FCT the public mass transit system has gradually become non-existent.Perhaps the metro will change that sha! 8 Likes 1 Share |

kraftyiyk: You are rather mistaken with your remarks. As it stands the FGN and the larger section are against the shitte and that includes even the government. If Israel were to have interest it will be to even support the FGN like they have always done in terms of military training and equipping. If you do the maths, the USA and Israel will definitely be trying to stop an Iranian influence. So a Syria doesn't happen in Nigeria. where Iran and co can take over. If the report is true the factors will definitely only get Israel,USA,Gulf allies and co to even help Nigeria more to deal with the Iranian/Shitte influence. So don't be worried just yet about Nigeria getting involved in the middle east. At the moment our allies are all anti-Iran. If I had my way that is the kind of news(true or false) you spread to get free help (money, intelligence, security, weapons etc) from world powers . 1 Like 1 Share |
