Roboto11: Sharply he has concluded and exempted them without any concrete investigation. The price people pay for silence and denial is what kills and continues hunting people all over the country. Where a spade is called a lamp post.... Truly sad that the officers keep getting killed. Some say he got away at the officers' expense and if it had gone the other way it would be the officers/governement know something about it or were in on it. The lies and a confused nation. So we continue on the match to destruction.... 1 Like 1 Share |

Politics / Re: NEDG 2023: Tinubu, Obi, Atiku, Others Get Nov. Dates For National Debate by hakanai(m): 1:40pm On Oct 23, 2022 |
“During these debates, the candidates will be taken closer to the electorate in the South-West, South- South, and North-West geopolitical zones. “They will discuss varying issues of national importance such as foreign relations, governance structure, national defence and security, education, information technology and health among others,” he said. According to him, the NESG is collaborating with the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) and civil society partners to cohost debates. Emessiri stated that Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital, will host the second debate on December 15, while it will be the turn of Lagos on January 19, 2023, and Kano on February 16, 2023. " How about the SOUTH EAST and NORTH EAST The debates have always been held in certain places, yet people want national votes. If it's Proper the discussions should then be done within the Six Zones. It is only fair that they reach the people of all Zones as they are bonafide citizens and are expected to vote. Also If the leaders can't visit or have programs in such places It tells us that they will never see or visit such places in their usual attitude. Not a single Presidential politician has visited the entire SE to campaign o interact with them at that level. Why are people avoiding certain parts of this country? While they hope for votes from such sections of the nation. I strongly feel its time that the Zones begin to ask for equal and fair participation. Na Nigerian people still dey there? |
Politics / Re: If Muslims Clerics Can Tell Their Fellow Who To Vote, Why Can't Pastors Do Same? by hakanai(m): 6:39pm On Oct 11, 2022 |
ImDStar: In Nigeria, people are motivated to participate for many reasons, from ethnoreligious to party affiliations. Now very few vote based on competence and the quality of an individual to deliver. We are not far from any other democracy in the world. It is the same in the world be it the West or the East. So we are not different. We only lack strong institutions to act as checks toward people in power. The Parliament and the government organs responsible for all that concerns national and state welfare should be empowered to know their responsibility and actively play their roles selflessly regardless of the people in power. We have a Federal character commission to balance things yet people complain about nepotism and lack of inclusiveness. We have bad leaders yet we have national assemblies at the states and federal levels. We are crushed by crime and insecurity yet we have these security outfits. We complain of welfare, poor education or lack of infrastructure name it agencies and laws exist to manage them or address their issues. People say it's about the leaders only. I say it's about everyone playing his part. Citizens can't be praising criminals at the expense of the nation or avoid discouraging patriots and honest citizens at the expense of known corrupt individuals in society. Today we have over 20 political parties and over 10 presidential candidates yet we are mentally stuck on only three acting as if we have no other options because these are rich or big men that have something to buy people with and not necessarily in terms of competency to lead. |

A gathering of mostly PDP party men and some disgruntled APC northern Christians. They are just making it seem like a difficult thing to decide and that they represent inclusiveness but truth be told this is PDP and Atiku loyalist meeting. Imagine Boni Haruna a hardcore Atiku man being fair to other people at the detriment of his person Atiku. Only one thing dey possible for this meeting na to support Atiku or PDP. 1 Like 1 Share |
Politics / Re: Are Muslim Northerners Obidient? by hakanai(m): 4:37pm On Oct 02, 2022 |
@ OP how about you start by finding out who is Obi's running mate and the spokesperson? At least they are visible. Now when you are done, people like you sow discord amongst the people of Nigeria? Which one is Muslim Northerners? If not to segregate and discriminate. If you meant well you should have said Nigerians up north. Continue the masked hatred. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Can Senator Adamu Ridiculously Drag Buhari, Atiku Or Kwankwanso Like This? (Pic) by hakanai(m): 8:45am On Sep 14, 2022 |
floret23: No disdain there and If true it's between him and Abdullahi Adamu or APC stop dragging the entire North into everything that is typical of an individual or groups action. Adamu does not represent the North. He only represents his party and himself. Stop being silly. |
Politics / Re: 2023: Muslim-muslim Ticket Is A Deceit, Northerners Dont Need You.. Gummi by hakanai(m): 7:07pm On Sep 12, 2022 |
Honjoshy4u: Stop generalizing, Gumi align with Atiku his benefactor. People should stop saying North. The North is currently divided in terms of votes between Tinubu, Atiku, and Obi. Some support is based on Political party, others regional, and lastly religious. Just like in the South people equally have that issue. So it's not just about the region. I am from the North and live in the North. I have met people around the area. The greatest undoing of Tinubu will be the abysmal performance of PMB. It is truly destroying the support APC enjoys in the North. That issue of security is the bane and major issue that if not curtailed will make voters kick against the APC in the North, across all levels both state and national. Also, the Muslim-Muslim ticket has also caused issues amongst the APC religious block. Tinubu's chances are as good as Atiku's, the only problem is how can Tinubu distance or insulate himself from PMB/APC without losing what support he currently has in the APC. A lot of people I have met are just confused between the choice of Atiku and Tinubu, that much is a fact they weigh Atiku around trust and weigh Tinubu around the PMB performance. Whilst the Predominant Christian areas are divided between an Atiku and Obi which is based on religion, the PMB factor and then Muslim Muslim ticket. I have seen more Northerners despise PMB and APC like never before due to the insecurity and difficulties with rising prices. In some areas, PDP is capitalizing on that in the North to sell their candidate. Also in the last primaries, a lot of House members and party members in the APC lost the primaries and they are gravitating towards PDP in rebellion, not for any north but to remain relevant in politics. Especially where they are relegated to retirement which they don't want. I feel it will take a lot to motivate voters in the North. I fear a higher voter apathy and also a rejection of APC across levels because people are tired of their failures and are not willing to give them a chance in such difficulties. So it's not so much ethnic or regional If you ask me but a wide range of reasons similar to what is happening in the South which is across party, regional and ethno-religious. |
Politics / Re: Netherland Vs Northern Nigeria Landmass In Agricultural Production by hakanai(m): 1:46pm On Sep 05, 2022 |
Pauldollars: Talking is one thing and doing is another. We have heard every government speak on the need to take food production seriously since Obasanjo. What we have not done is attain our full potential. How we will do that and the commitment or resources to back it up. Today we have NIRSAL and BOA doing their part but simultaneously. We have a problem with security and the technology gap. How do you solve them? We shouldn't assume words are enough. Security and land issues are a big problem 0. It is beyond the FG and just the president. States have a lot to do with land ownership. Farming at a large scale involves more than the noise we make. It involves all, right attitude, ready market, and even infrastructure. Anyway, wish him and them luck getting it right whoever wins. |

The people that spewed malicious lies against Shettima are the liars and demons that took a bribe and choose to be mischief makers all in the name of politics. For the record am not a fan of the duo of BAT & Shettima but it will be unfair to label them wrongly. It does nobody any good. That is how it starts with lies and people hold on to it and act as if it's true. Do remember that you should be fair to all regardless. No faith supports lies and propaganda and surely the truth will set you free. 1 Like |

Komu1048: NO vex abeg na simple opinion! Just saying It's a silent war that may continue to undermine his relevance going forward. Tinubu's antecedents and recent comments suggest he is also vindictive or someone that expects you always pay your dues or face the repercussion. You can ask Ambode, ask Fashola, ask Aregbesola, and many more. Despite efforts to make peace he ensured they were taught a lesson to his satisfaction. It's still early to conclude he is done with him, that's my point. Right now he still needs him to cross the last hurdle and get elected. As it will be unwise to lose any support right now. So if you permit me, am thinking he will also screw PMB after handing over, Just to set him straight. So make una dey careful sha! He is not respected and feared for no reason o! He most have some thing worth pulling to get you in line such as career-killing punishment. |

Politics / Re: APC Presidential Primaries: How States Delegates Will Likely Vote by hakanai(m): 1:21pm On Jun 07, 2022 |
Kizzygentle: Am definitely note it! I have voted since the first elections between Falae & Obj. Just for the records I never regret doing my part even if am wrong. It's about fulfilling your civil responsibility until we get it right. If others got it right, we too can. We are getting there because we learn every time. When it started people sat at home and wrote results with huge margins today that have reduced. Another case is where people are determined no one can manipulate their votes eg. point to Gov. Soludo in Anambra and even Ex-president GEJ( as incumbent) vs PMB. We will get it right someday. the people's vote can work if we are all serious about it. Let's not be discouraged. If we make mistakes we learn and improve them. Not fight about it, become hateful about it, or even fall back and give up on our duties to things in life. We want the best but are never willing to sacrifice anything for it. We prefer to reap where we didn't sow and let our God-given rights and resources go to waste. In every FOUR years, that's 1460 days. All they ask from us is only 2 days at the most to fix our leadership. As people, we instead prefer to keep lamenting, than acting. |

Serious!!! But your information provides little information to work with other than it's a faceless group of anyone willing to join criminality. Now we don't know if it's the acclaimed mysterious Herdsmen, DSS, UGM, IPOB1, IPOB2 or ESN? No evidence was provided beyond the abduction. Na why they warn una. When it gets out of control you will not sleep because of many lawless groups that will use the opportunities to create carnage. It is only the beginning when this thing settles ehn! these people who have tasted and enjoyed the blood lust or power of terrorizing people will do more to remain relevant in your society. This means they will not be willing to let things go and criminality at the least will be there to stay for much longer causing havoc. The sooner it is reversed the better. I also think the security agents are equally not interested in tackling the issues because they see the community as being complicit. Hence their nonchalant attitude toward the violent events. The security agents will rather protect themselves and let the defenseless creators of the monster be eaten by the monster. 11 Likes |
Foreign Affairs / Re: RUSSIA/UKRAINE WAR: The Number That Puts Vladimir Putin At Risk by hakanai(m): 11:42am On Mar 25, 2022 |
All these numbers are people's children. The media also needs to learn about honesty while reporting and avoiding biased reports. The same example of the casualties in battle can be placed on the USA campaign in Vietnam against a much smaller and less sophisticated nation. The USA equally lost to the Afghan Taliban after committing several allied multi-forces, sanctions, advanced weaponry, and over 10years of using all that resources to zero results. The Taliban are still alive and in power. The numbers are not new or the worse. The take-home is that wars are never good and they remain unpredictable and after much the results are never met. Lastly, disinformation is fair game in conflicts and it does nobody any good. It's the last resort with a lot to lose. Russia will lose the west will lose and Ukraine will lose. Humanity will lose too. If only things were just and fair. The so-called UN is rendered weak useless when needed the most and only acts best against weak states. Powerful nation-states with veto power are exempt from any compliance or enforcement. The world has no balance and humanity never learn. 1 Like |
