WebmastersRe: Royal Rumble! Paga Vs. Voguepay. Vs Gtpay. Vs Interswitch. Vs Zenith Global Pay by halimat1985(f): 1:53pm On Mar 05, 2013
The only card interswitch owns is Verve and it is dead. Banks dont issue it again.
Which bank still issues verve cards? Verve is the past and we are talking about the present and the future here.

THE MAIN SINGER IS INTERSWITCH
WHILE VOGUEPAY AND THE REST ARE THE BAND MEMBER.
Interswitch is a mastercard aggregator and mastercard is the only functioning card they process.
So how are they the main singer? Other aggregators too can approach mastercard for license.
Other aggregators have VISA card, interswitch doesn't.

Infact, i read sometime ago that there are now two other aggregators aside from interswitch holding mastercard license in Nigeria. Let's just wait for them to finish integration and we see who is truly the King. A dying king or a growing one?

[Edit]
Ease of integration: GTPay Vs Voguepay

Cost of Integration: Globalpay Vs Voguepay

No of users: Paga Vs Voguepay

No of cards accepted: Globalpay Vs Voguepay

Customer support: Paga Vs Voguepay

Available tools: Voguepay Vs ........

Where does interswitch fit in?

ActiveMan: if they die, others too collapse lol cheesy

Have ever had technical difficulty with VOGUEPAY,MYPAGA,GTPAY support?

FOR EXAMPLE IF YOU HAVE A CASE OF FRAUD AND YOU SEND A MAIL TO THEM, THE RESPONSE AS ALWAYS BEEN

WE HAVE FORWARD YOUR REQUEST TO INTERSWITCH LOL :d
Voguepay processes 3 cards (Mastercard, VISA and Etranzact) if Interwitch dies, they continue with the other two.
GTPay processes 2 cards, if interswitch dies, they continue with the other one.
Interswitch processes mastercard, if they die, all those businesses that went to them for integration goes back to voguepay or GTPay.

Bottom line:
Interswitch is an aggregator
Voguepay is an aggreegator
GTPay is an aggregator

Interswitch does not have a card of their own
GTPay does not have a card of their own
Voguepay doe not have a card of their own.

Interswitch charges N150,000 for integration
GTPay charges N75,000 for integration
Voguepay is free.

Interswitch has no tool to assist merchants
GTPay has online transaction logl for monitoring
Voguepay has Online transaction log for monitoring, Several tools for integration, analytics tool and several other tools.

Interswitch API is only to recieve payment with website
GTPay API is only to receive payments with website
Voguepay API is to recieve payments with website, to receive payments without website, to recieve payment via SMS (Mobile) and to pay your members automatically from your script, to send money to other members e.t.c.

I integrate several payment processors for clients and of all i have done, the ones i used Voguepay for are the most satisfied.
Some clients refused to pay my balance because interswitch has not concluded testing on their site for months now.

ActiveMan: even if they do not even issue verve card again some people still have verve card

have you seen VOGUEPAY CARD lol cheesy (just joking)

but do you agree with me that others are aggregator to them?
Interswitch has the worst support (technical or non-technical).
They hardly reply emails, their email server do not accept incoming emails during weekends and yet they dont remit money on-time.
They sometimes delay your money for up to a week.
It even takes up to 3 months to setup because they have to give you a future date when they will be able to test your site.
They dont have any interface where you can login to check your previous transaction log.

Above all, they require you to have a six month old corporate bank account, a valid registered company and a software developer before you can accept payments through them. How does this help an individual who just wants to sell an ebook? How are they helpful to a student who just wants to sell recharge cards? Even Paypal is not so rigid.

Interswitch is the worst of all. Period!
WebmastersRe: Royal Rumble! Paga Vs. Voguepay. Vs Gtpay. Vs Interswitch. Vs Zenith Global Pay by halimat1985(f): 10:54am On Mar 05, 2013
ActiveMan: interswitch - REAL CARD PROCESSING COMPANY

OTHERS ARE JUST AGGREGATOR TO interswitch.
Point of correction.
Interswitch does not issue any card again. They are Mastercard aggregators too.
Their interswitch card has been discontinued because its not chip and pin. Their verve card is dead because banks have chosen VISA and Mastercard over the dead interswitch card because of CBN compliance.
Also, interswitch does not process visa and etranzact cards like other aggregators. Interswitch limits you to Mastercard only.

Infact, i think interswitch is the worst because you can only accept mastercard through them. No VISA, No Etranzact.
WebmastersRe: Royal Rumble! Paga Vs. Voguepay. Vs Gtpay. Vs Interswitch. Vs Zenith Global Pay by halimat1985(f): 10:48am On Mar 05, 2013
Voguepay is the obvious winner.

Support:
Interswitch, GTPay and Globalpay all have very poor support.
They dont even offer support on weekends.
They also do not offer technical support. Although GTPay recommends some freelancers to offer technical support but the support cost is too expensive.

Tools:
Undoubtedly, Voguepay floors their competition in terms of the tools available for integration and monitoring. The most inspiring is their new webview tool. My marketer can monitor sales without knowing my voguepay login details.

Cost of Integration:
I don't know how much paga charges but Globalpay and Voguepay are both free.

Overall
I choose Voguepay. Its d best.

puzuwe: Voguepay is good, but www.payfas.com is better.
Payfas is rubbish with their copy and paste job. I will never recommend payfas to anyone.

Its www.voguepay.com all the way!
WebmastersRe: The Best Web-Based Businesses To Start In Nigeria? by halimat1985(f): 4:20pm On Feb 13, 2013
How about https://VoguePay.com ? Any info on the local payment processors?
I know VoguePay is Nigeria's largest payment processor but i doubt if they are profitable because of their very slim charges.
WebmastersGtbank Sends Out Scam Email By Mistake? by halimat1985(op): 11:32pm On Jan 28, 2013
I got the email below from GTBank recommending their payment integration partners.
On checking, i found that a partner they recommended is a p.orn site : Fokafdot Systems ( http://fokafdot.com Ayanfe Adegoke 08034070669 adegokeayanfe@fokafdot.com ).
Did GTBank mistakenly send out porn or is someone trying to scam me?
Did any other person get this email?
The company sounds like fu.cker-dot and their official website is a p.orn site. It wouldn't have been an issue but gtbank was copied in the email.

WebmastersRe: Ranking Of Nigeria's Top Payment Processors. by halimat1985(op): 11:48pm On Jan 19, 2013
I tried simplepay4u.
It's just not worth it. Its even the least in the competition in terms of merchant base, transaction volume, general adoption level, reputation, ranking, recognition, going concern/entity concept e.t.c.

I would not recommend it to anyone. I suggest anyone who wants to choose a payment processor should do his research online before deciding which one is worth keeping his money lest your funds just dissappear one day.

Be sure that the company behind your payment processing has a reputation online, have a solid capital base and a functional office location.
Don't give your money to any one-man-business.

@lojik
I heard 4rm ur ground-floor office that Afrisoft has sold its shortcode business. How true is this?
Shouldn't your shortcode clients be informed? The service has been very poor for some weeks now. It was when i complained to your support that i was told the project has been sold. If it has been sold, then the new owners are not doing a good Job and need to be told.
WebmastersRanking Of Nigeria's Top Payment Processors. by halimat1985(op): 2:17pm On Nov 05, 2012
I used a google chrome plugin (Page Rank Status) to generate the data for ranking Nigeria's payment processor and i realised Voguepay is winning the battle for Nigeria's top payment processor with over 2000 alexa backlinks while the next highest is just 104.

Does that mean that aside from Voguepay, no other payment processor has up to 100 ecommerce websites linked to them for payment?

What is voguepay doing that the others are not and why have they grown so fast?
Can someone with experience tell me what i need to do if i want my website to rank so high?

See the image attached. I used a chrome plugin (Page Rank Status) to generate the data.
I think the real battle is between VoguePay and Eyowo. However, Voguepay seems to be winning the battle for Nigeria's best payment processor. I've seen so many threads and it all seems to favour VoguePay over Eyowo.

@softchase,
You should be ashamed of yourself for stealing someone else's blog post. People like you dont use their brain for anything except for robbing others of their Intellectual Property.

I saw this post on http://lekeojikutu.com/my-blog/113-things-to-note-before-starting-bulk-sms-business Saturday, 25 August 2012 18:10 | Written by Leke Ojikutu and you have the guts to put your name on it. How do you ever hope to make it in life with your dark mind? Someone is busy doing legit work and you are busy stealing his work. You can be sure that i will point his attention to this thread.

I sincerely apologise to Eyowo for coming out to make a comment like that. It was wrong and very unprofessional to make those unguided comments.

The incident that happened was very unfortunate and deeply regretted.

Kind Regards
Its OK. But next time, choose your words carefully. You may not have the opportunity to swallow your own words once they have been spilled.
Above all, i think your company need to rethink its policies especially how it relates to clients. This forum is filled with very bad reports about u guys.
