That's a long route and too expensive
Hustle a 2nd passport from Bahamas or Seychelles and you can travel the world visa free.

That's the best investment. Better than chasing visas every time you need to travel plus the negative attention the Nigerian passport gives you at foreign airports

No it's not required... Renewed on Monday this week, went with it but the immigration guy said it's not needed...
All u need is 1 passport photograph and the expired passport that's for renewal

Hi guy, I started the DIY process yesterday, paid online and have my other docs ready. Although the interview date I was given is Dec 1st (quite far), I intend going to Ikoyi office tomorrow for interview and capture. Seems I read some people say one can go for it any day, would I be queried for going tomorrow?

make me feel like the requirement is different from those on the site, from what I see on their site please add more or deduct or just confirm the list

Though OP has always been a voracious reader considering he talked about reading large chunks of newspapers and books. Notwithstanding, his perception about so many things and knowledge will continue to change cos' he's in a different environment. The more contact he has with new people/environment, the more enlightened he becomes and like someone said, OP is open-minded.
His exposure is only rubbing off, no stress, more adventures and interesting stories to tell. That brain will keep opening up and getting sharper unlike one country like that
