CaptainZubi:
I made this thread some days ago,https://www.nairaland.com/6572799/im-traveling-air-first-time

Well, thanks to all nairalanders who contributed. It was even easier than i thought. All I had to do was just follow the crowd or use eye mark one person wey dey go my destination and do as e dey do. cheesy. When you get to the airport (Murtala Mohammad airport new domestic wing ) or as commonly called , MM2. Just look for your airline ticketing booth and collect boarding pass. Then head straight to the departure lounge upstairs where you will be scanned before entering. After that wait for the announcement of your airline and its departure time. Like i said earlier on, just try use eye mark one person traveling to the same destination with your airline too and keep a good watch on him. When they announce your flight, they'll tell you the terminal to go and from there they'll scan you again before boarding. I had no problem with my seat number and seat belt coz i had already watched a lot of youtube videos grin. It wasn't even like my first time mehn I was so proud of myself lol. When you arrive your destination, just follow the crowd and go where others go but do not wait with those at the luggage arrival trolley if you didn't check your luggages in.

unfortunately, i couldn't take enough pics due to shame sha. grin

The beauty about air travel is that you get to meet great personalities , big men and women as well as rich kids both at the departure, entrance, lounge and in the plane. At MM2, I lost count on the number of times i heard sirens and saw police escort with big men coming to travel. I even saw the custom boss , top military officials and a few celebs. Thats just the beauty of air travel, you go see people mehn. Lots of rich kids of politicians as well as beautiful , hot ladies too. This fulani girl who was obviously the daughter of a big man from her looks was just staring at me all through me self con dey feel fly but to approach her na wahala lol bush poor man like me i suppose go find my mates and level to toast. grin

Air travel is sweet, you will meet people as in well to do people, celebs, politicians, rich kids etc. It's one experience i'll definitely try again in the future.

Thank you all, it was worth it

Ohhh, sorry for that. That method (working remotely) is actually the bomb if you want to hit big, you enjoy a low cost of living and still earn high salary.
Whenever you earn high from a place you spend low i.e income being greater than expenses by far, you make a lot of savings.
Basalt please between Germany,Poland,uk and Canada, which should i go for my masters.
thanks

It's quite unfortunate that I stumbled on this post very late (almost 2 years after). However, I am sure that the OP must have made a good decision; and I would appreciate if he could let us know what his final decision was.

That being said, there is a big illusion down here regarding the West. Many people (read Nigerians) think it's all rosy out there and would rather do a menial job with a PhD qualification in Germany or Canada than to make that bold decision of coming back home. They think it's your village people at work. Pathetic!

I do not know what name to call such a low self esteem and I always wonder how we have settled to live with such a low, weak, and timid mentality. Listen, there is an hidden hierarchy of preference in the west, and unfortunately, Africa is last on the scale with Nigeria sitting rock bottom on the list.

Unless you are an IT guru, extremely brilliant and exceptional, your chances of doing anything professional in the west is less than 10%. Except otherwise, you have an EU/US passport. Therefore, in most cases, the best option is to come back home, try your hands on a couple of things, and if it doesnt work, you can then consider going back to europe or any other location of choice.

The crux of my argument is that coming home is a viable option, and if there's any one else in this kind of situation, do not let anyone, be it your family member or friends, force or convince you into living an unfulfilled life that you will later regret, in the name of staying abroad.

My 2 cents!
Going back home is not a viable option

Yes, from my little experience, German girls are usually hard to get. They prefer dating fellow white guys. The evidence can be seen from the couple moving around. It's not easy to see Black/ girl couple kissing and holding hands as whites do.
Before coming to Germany, I heard that white girls use to rush black guys like hot cake because they view them as being good in bed, I even loaded packets of Condoms in my travel bag hoping to buy more when I arrive, my brother those condoms are still remaining in my bag as of now.
On coming to Germany, I found out a totally different thing from what I heard, this is my personal experience, I don't know if Corona virus contributed to it.
Even Tinder, badoo, Lovoo wey I download, shishi I no get.
Most Nigerian girls on the other hand are targeting white men for papers.
So is usually not easy unless you visit a brothel and
I heard that if you are the extrovert type who clubs, you will run into many girls in the club especially if you are a good dancer.
I nogo lie you, I don't really have any tangible love life here.
All I do is work, study, sleep, eat, work.
The cycle continues.
Though I am able to save alot of money but I don't have a life or even have much friends like my mates in the UK and USA.
From next year, I will reduce work and hopefully graduate by the special grace of God.
do you plan on staying in Germany after studies?

Since your school specifically asks you to use etx.ng, you should contact the admissions office if you have a reservation about etx.ng.

It is upto your admission office to decide if they will allow you to use dhl/ups or they won't. But you should email them first.
I already did, thank you

Guys please i have a problem, After applying to Western Illinois university(WIU).
An email from the international admissions office was sent to me to provide my electronic transcripts through etx ng, but the problem is I heard some bad reviews about etx Ng online about how it takes months for them to process transcripts and the deadline for documents submission is approaching.
Please what do I do, should I send the hardcopy of my transcripts directly from my school to western Illinois university.
Please I need your advices
