TravelRe: Returning To Nigeria Is The Worst Decision I’ve Ever Made by hammed71(m): 1:31pm On Mar 21, 2021
Originalsly:
Every disappointment is for a good reason. With all the begging and pleading... the man never saw "sense".... he returned with his entire family... children that knew UK life only... above average UK status.... leaving a dream life because he feared dying in the UK. Mind over matter.
As I see it.... that was his path in life and he followed it ... is like going with your gut feeling rather than intelligent reasonings from the brain. As husband... head of the house... he made the decision. As wife... despite disagreeing... follows his lead ... leaves her job.. ups the kids and remigrated with him ... keeping the family unit together. Is it a coincidence that a friend .... happen to be leaving Nigeria at the same time..... and offer his even more luxurious home for him and his family to use? Things did not go according to his expectations... but he has seen his family has stuck together through the storms of life. What is more important in life than a family that sticks together through thick and thin? He should've stayed... would they have feared better if they did? Today they are all alive... and still a family unit. Many of us... men....wherever we be... in whatever part of the world... living in poverty or luxury... wish we can have a wife like his. And many women.... wish they can have a man literally pick them from off the street ... marry them... take them abroad and offer them a life of luxury.... but to follow him back home?... it surely shall be God forbid... not over my dead body.

"He who findeth a wife findeth a good thing."
would you suddenly leave like that too?

Most Nigerians in the US will try and discourage you from coming with all sorts of lies and excuses because they don’t want more people here, they want to have it all to themselves

Don’t let anyone tell you lies. US is filled with money making opportunities
Bro do you have any plans of changing your b1/b2 to work permit or greencard because without those two you can't work and access those opportunities you are talking about.

No country that meets all that criteria is a black country. Tunisia is not a black country it's an Arab country.

Your post concludes one must immigrate to a non black country - because it is only non black countries that are stable.
Botswana and Namibia are black countries

Holding knife to challenge police in Ireland where Police don’t hold gun is a bad thing.
Only 2 set of police own gun in Ireland
Armed control units and Detectives
An officer was gun down early this year, and something like this happen leads to his death.
So, no more chance for that nonsense again

TravelRe: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by hammed71(m): 12:05pm On Dec 26, 2020
Godisincontrol:
It's been almost two years in this country of ours and the truth is everyone can't be a Doctor, Lawyer, Engineer or a Software developer to make it here in Canada. What works for A would not work for B. This country is a land of opportunities and you just have to harness it.

I am from a regulated profession (Primus Interpares) but it will take me some years to get back into that field and if I eventually decide to go back, question is will I find fulfillment in it?

Most of us due to one thing or the other studied courses back home and at the end found ourselves not even working in our field of study(ies) all to make ends meet. So what is wrong in doing that here as far as it's legal, puts food on the table and takes care of basic necessities plus change left for a rainy day

Like has been said before by others, if you put in the effort and work hard, you will reap the fruit of your labour all things being equal.

I work "survival job" full time and hustle instacart when I am free . I am not where I want to be but I am striving to get there and while it may take a while, we only pray for God's grace which is more than sufficient as well as his guidance and we shall surmount all hurdles.

As a form of encouragement and not trying to brag, attached is a screenshot of my most recent pay slip and amount made so far as well as my instacart earnings (some people doing "office work" didn't make that sum), yet we de do "survival job" abi na any work.

All my years in Nigeria, wearing shirt and tie how much I get/make?

If you like, belittle the work of my hands, that one nor concern me. There is dignity in the work of thy hands, be it flipping burgers, manual labor, construction, trade or what not as far as you are not a burden to anyone or the system.

May God bless our hustle....Amen
Nice one, God bless your hustle bro, any legal way na way abi na, as long as you're not into fraud or yahoo
