cola: Hopefully, sometime in the future, some blacks from Haiti, Cuba, Guyana, America, etc find the support of some superpower to establish a state for themselves in their 'original' land in Africa. The superpower will do anything to see them migrate because it is 'tired of their drugs and crimes '.
Hopefully they choose fertile areas of Ondo, Edo, Delta, Anambra and Abia and push the current inhabitants to bakassi or somewhere by power of force... bulldozing your homes and taking your lands and waters. The supporting superpower would do anything to ensure the new 'black nation' stands, because if it doesn't stand, the 'balcks' would be coming back with their 'drugs and crimes'.
Hopefully some people in other parts of the world label you terrorists for resisting people coming back to their roots, and who knows, they might also find some old scriptural text to justify your expulsion and killing... Boom! Thank you, please the holier than thou people who worship the colonizers gods should come and answer this one, oh I forgot they are busy defending tb Joshua right now |

ekitimanalways: No, you cannot apply for a renewal at this stage. In order for Nigeria Immigration Service to process your request for passport renewal, your passport must have six months validity. ok shebi I can still get a visa with a 1year validity left on my passport and travel with it without any hassle |

CalmTravels: The year has begun...
For those seeking migration from Africa to Western, Central or Northern Europe, planning is everything. If for instance you want to travel by July, the best time to Begin should be November Last year, the second best time is now!
These are the best route to avoid stories that touch, or having to start seeking asylum:
1. The school route, the easiest but most expensive. But after schooling you still face the task of having to get employment that would file papers for you. If you have money and don't need stress, take that route.
2. Work route. The best, but the hardest because lots of people from Africa and Middle east create bad memories. You must have an employment offer. Your employer must be the one to start the process. However, getting an offer of employment is where the trouble lies. We can try oour best to help as much as possible get menial seasonal jobs. However, I must warn you, it's illegal to buy jobs.
The reason for tightening immigration laws in Europe can be tied up to what two subgroup of people do: 1. People from Middle east, terrorism and gangsterism. Using underage to run hits on fellow gang members. Sometimes innocent bystander are hit too.
2. Africans. These ones try to cheat the system by hording or not remitting money for tax, because they want to send back home to build mansions, or too lazy to continue the hustle, they become disillusioned and stay depending on the goodness of excellent Europe social welfare.
Let share some experiences. I witnessed an assassination attempt on a prison supritendent, a young Swede born by migrant parents from Somalia. A close friend. He was once a gang member, but schooled and got a job with govt as a prison boss. So young to hold such position. It was a blessing as well as a curse. When two rival gang are fighting, they usually target him. The govt is not aware he was a gangster when he was 13. Imagine having to make your former gang members immates keep to rules of prison! We hide him and called the police. He escaped but because the police was now involved, few days later they caught him and gave him broken bones and limps. Last I heard of him was he moved up North.
This is why Sweden the most immigration friendly country on earth is now tightening loopholes for mostly undocumented immigrants or thereabouts.
When you come here, make sure you work and pay taxes. Don't get involved with freebies. People work their ass off making the freebies available. You too should contribute to the social welfare system!
Tack! true France which was once an immigration friendly country is now tightening it. Would you advise someone go to Portugal? |

laivwire: I have always come back to read this thread year upon year before and after getting to France and I better understand what Electro talked about.
Electromagnito, you went through A LOT. How can you spend so much on French class and you didn't get CROUS? I just can't imagine being penniless in such a harsh place.
Something people don't talk about in Nairaland is the low wages in France compared to other top European countries like UK and Germany. At €9.50/hour (€760/month), you have more than simple financial management responsibilities on your hands. 20 hours/week in combination with studies, your body will shake. That is even if you find a 20 hours/week job in which case, you barely have anything to save after removing rent, food, phone bills and sending something back home. People earning 600k/month in Nigeria are living more comfortably than many in France.
I try not to discourage Nigerians from thinking of migrating to France but think deeply about it. Make it a second option if you can. Too many migrants, and the far right are fighting back. Policies are being changed and turning unfavourable. African kids who are raised in-country (Primary to tertiary) and speak French like their mother tongue are having to look for greener opportunities in UK and Canada.
Every person has their priorities as well but learning French solely to get a job in France is not a top of priority in my opinion. You can gain fluency enough to communicate (which can be tasking) but can you learn up to a professional level in 2 years? Like I said, it depends on the person. which other European countries would you recommend moving to apart from France |

I am back here to give an update that life has been extremely wonderful, I am doing well, everything is working fine and I am getting there, I have my work authorization, my SSN, my state drivers license and to crown it all I just bought my dream car, (I financed it to build my credit) indeed “America is the best country in the world”
If you didn’t go to school and did not learn any hand-work you can still be earning and saving millions in naira monthly, it can only happen in America.
if you work hard in this country your chance of making it is 99.9% I can confidently tell you that, I’ve seen a lot of guys here buying houses in less than 5 years they arrived, it is possible. I will go into more details later.
Now I just want to give back by blessing the first 10 people with 10k naira each for Christmas.
To qualify, you must have less than 10k in your bank account, take a screenshot of your balance, including your account details and I’ll credit you with 10k.
Note: please we don’t want no spoiler here or bad belle, or negative energy, if you’re in America, the best you can do is share the good things about it. |

Enculer2: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-67762119
The French parliament has passed legislation toughening France's immigration policy.
The amended bill was backed by both President Emmanuel Macron's centrist Renaissance party and Marine Le Pen's far-right National Rally (RN). The vote divided Mr Macron's party, and Health Minister Aurélien Rousseau resigned in protest. Leaders of a third of French regions said they would not comply with certain measures in the law. A previous draft was rejected by parliament last week when the National Rally as well as the left voted against. In response, the government redrafted the bill, making some of its provisions tougher. The new legislation makes it more difficult for migrants to bring family members to France and delays their access to welfare benefits. It also bans detaining minors in detention centres. A controversial provision discriminates between citizens and migrants, even those living in the country legally, in determining eligibility for benefits. The tougher version appealed to right-wing parties, who backed it on Monday. Ms Le Pen welcomed the amended bill, calling it an "ideological victory" for the far-right. "This is our bill," said Eric Ciotti, the leader of the right-wing Republican party. He called it "firm and courageous".
But left-wingers said Mr Macron was enabling the far-right. "History will remember those who betrayed their convictions," Socialist party leader Olivier Faure said. 32 of France's 101 departments, including Paris, said they would refuse to implement the provisions of the law on benefits for non-citizens. The French vote came hours before an EU agreement to reform the asylum system across the bloc's 27 member states. The new pact, agreed by EU governments and European Parliament members, includes creating border detention centres and enabling the quicker deportation of rejected asylum seekers. Hailed as a landmark agreement by Parliament President Roberta Metsola, the new system allows asylum seekers to be relocated from southern member states, which have the highest numbers of arrivals, to other countries. It still has to be formally approved by the Parliament and member states. The new French legislation exposed divisions within the governing alliance. 27 MPs voted against while 32 abstained - almost a quarter of pro-Macron MPs. Health Minister Aurélien Rousseau, who was a member of the Communist party in his youth, stepped down in protest at the immigration law. "Some measures in the bill make me very uncomfortable," said Yaël Braun-Pivet, the president of the lower house of parliament and a member of Mr Macron's party. The bill would have passed if Ms Le Pen's party had abstained, though not if it had voted against. The government pointed to the size of its majority to argue that it did not depend on National Rally votes. Speaking after the vote, the prime minister accepted some measures in the law might not be constitutional. "We will ask the Constitutional Council," she told French radio, referring to a top court which upholds the constitution's principles. Human rights groups denounced the new reform as the most regressive immigration law for decades. Mr Macron's party lost its majority in parliament in elections in June 2022. Since then, the government has frequently found itself unable to win votes in parliament. bro it's not only Nigerian students it affects all students and all nationalities |

sukkot: its a very brilliant question but the answer to the question ? You have to be very spiritual to accept it or else you will think its rubbish. Well here is the answer
There are demonic and angelic portals all over the world through which demons and angels can access our three dimensional world to influence people and get people to do their bidding. So every where on this planet has these portals. But you see ? The whole world can't be a shit show all at once, it doesn't work like that. It can't work like that. At any point in time of history there has to be a beacon of light for the whole world to see and follow and so a shield is put up against all the demonic portals in that beacon of light territory. So the demons cannot tamper with their leaders and their people. So the white man and his territory has been that beacon of hope for the past 600 years after the European Renaissance. All the demonic portals in his territory are neutralised . So there is order and no corruption and everybody working together for the common good so you're telling me that the situation in Africa is due to this? |
