When you kick out Jonathan for Buhari, the enlarged Jihad and counter Jihad to follow shall make Boko Haram violence a tea party. For sake of crude oil in the Nigerdelta, most Nigerians do not subscribe to what should have brought peace to the people in present Nigeria, that is divide Nigeria into more peaceable countries. JayJustus: |
BH survives becos of the ethnic and religious divisions in Nigeria. Too many people in far north Nigeria believe in the same aspiration of Boko Haram to have Nigeria governed by Islamic sharia laws. Feramicharles: |
Buhari has funded four very expensive presidential contests since 2003, yet he deceives gullible people that he never looted money from Nigeria's coffers. Buhari was the ideologue of the most corrupt Abacha regime. Buhari did not stop Abacha coruption, he now wants to decve gullible Nigerians. Buhari could not set up factories to employ Nigerians. Worst, Buhari in his mid 70s could not provide for younger ones to become capable of leading Nigeria. Now he must not be having anything for the younger ones except deception. waleadex: |
Atiku is more sincere than Buhari. Atiku recounts thinks he can do for Naija if he becomes president. He even discusses his personal lifestyle as he did here. But Buhari is hidden with hidden agenda, a false saint that pretends to be an angel. Buhari's only manifesto is demonize President Jonathan, then tell you he wants to come and fight corruption. But Naija corruption comes from the unitary govt system we run in guise of a federal system. helvidius: |
Only for Cheats. Gerring out! |
Tell what is there that shall make France fear Nigeria? Divided Nigeria that cannot even defeat Boko? Are you not most carried away by name Nigeria? Ogbon400: |
Your C in C cannot protect u. See as mouth de sweet you. Tomorrow go and fetch firewood infested with red ants to your house, wait for your C in C to drive the ants, and when he comes, you sabotage his efforts as you hope to brand him a weak C in C in order to make way for you to grab the role of C in C from him. Sense man/woman. popcykaylah: |
This time the youths are awake. If they had been equally awake and protested against overzealous Islamists in politics when they .imposed USE OF EXTREME SHARIA LAWS UPON 12 northern states. Boko Haram says it is fighting for a country to be governed by extreme Sharia laws. |
Nmeri17:sometimes this sharia'areporters- sorry, saharareporters may be right. this people now work with female suicide bombers a lot. |
mathskill:A president promoting terrorists to come and fight and even kill him, fight his administration and country? Continue to deceive yourself. |
ITbomb:Pray our lovely better- as-an-opposition party, APC, does not crumble after its presidential primaries. It looks ready set to crumble. Every group that formed APC, from Buhari's CPC to Atiku's nPDP to ANPP to Rochas branch - each has only one ambition, that ambition is producing the next president of Nigeria, not necessarily to better the lot of Nigerians. |
holatin:Is this not talk from one of the cockroaches and wall geckos that are for Buhari? Nigeria has younger and well educated people in excess to lead the country in the 21st century of IT and industrialization, not a religion-toned man who led Nigeria three decades ago and used retroactive laws to execute some young Nigerians. If Nigeria is a normal country, Buhari should have remained behind bars now for using retroactive law to execute human beings. Buhari was the head behind the throne during Abacha regime. If Buhari had provided for younger ones to take over leadership of Nigeria after him, he could not be seeking to lead Nigeria today. If Buhari could not provide for the younger ones all those decades he was on the corridors of power, he cannot provide for the younger ones in this his mid 70s. |
Vikkie14:Make I help you: Boko Haram does not even exist in Nigeria. All talk about Boko in Nigeria na make-up. |
This is like film tricks, sometimes unbelievable, horrifying. Sure, without Yerima leading some northern politicians to adopt sharia criminal codes, like cutting of hands of thieves, stoning women for adultery, etc., Boko Haram could not have emerged in Nigeria. Boko said it from beginning that it is fighting for a country governed by sharia criminal codes
|
allcomage:In short, Guy, you don't seem to understand why Boko Haram persists in Nigeria, you do not understand the politico/religious factors behind Boko Haram in Nigeria. U don't understand that if the fight against the Bokos is conventional type, like Israelis against their Arab neigbours, just one battalion alone of Nigeria army would have cleared Nigeria of Boko. |
PointB:Fear exists that the Israeli weapons can go to the hands of Boko. Sabotage and fear of sabotage are the the primary reasons why Naija forces are yet to chase Boko away from Naija. Boko has millions of Nigerians that sympathize with its religious objective to make Nigeria an Islamic country ruled with extreme sharia laws, like cutting hands of thives, stoning adulterous women, etc, though some of the sympathizers may not like Boko's extreme violence method to reach the same objetive. |
Lucasbalo:Perhaps if we meet in Nigeria, we shall talk about issues that have blighted development in Nigeria. Talk about why spent forces still nurse the ambition to preside over a Nigeria of predominantly young and some well educated population. Why a Raji Fashola SAN, Okonjo Iwealla, Babangida Aliyu, and even very eloquent Lucasbalo cannot come this time to become Nigeria's president. At every presidential election, only candidates chosen by a few god fathers are presented to the electorate to vote for. The primaries - if they even take place - are just mere formality. Why this? Because the major curse for Nigeria is its crude oil unfortunately found in just one area of the country. This has enabled Nigerians choose to continue to stick to a despicable unitary govt system whereby a few select persons stay in far away Abuja, collect revenues and share doles to the states, and to some degree, determine how far any part of Nigeria can strive to advance ahead of others. Competition among Nigerian groups to strive for the best thus becomes geopardized. Every Nigerian group instead strives to win Aso Rock central seat of power to enable the group control the country's coffers. Time for selection of the country's president, a few persons/god fathers in the contesting political parties literally impose on the parties who to present to the electorate to vote for. Do we expect the best leaders to ever emerge from such process? Never, under this unitary govt system. |
Lucasbalo:I wish you and rest of your family Merry Xmas in your fatherland, Nigeria. |
Lucasbalo:For the umpteenth time, you failed to point at one instant when President Jonathan or any body on his behalf stole Nigeria's money, other than your hearsay. In your USA, if a govt functionary or person in public service stole public money, do you call President Obama a thief or that he is running a corrupt govt? No. So why must you continue to believe that Jonathan is accomplice to corruption in Nigeria? In your USA, corrupt people are arrested and prosecuted by law enforcement agencies, not by US president. Nigeria's EFCC recently pronounced that at no time had President Jonathan restrained them from prosecuting corrupt people. Repeat: the oposition that comprises mostly your age-old masters simply manufacture rumours of billions of Dollars of oil money stolen by Jonathan or his cronies, in a bid to have your lot join them to retrieve apex political power and continue with business as usual. But this time, if you fall for that, they shall hold that power till thy kingdom come, and finally make Nigeria a Banana country for donkey years to come. You must care about Nigeria your root. Be sincere in analysing issues about your home country. Do not allow hatred for Jonathan or his ethnicity make you fail to see beyond your nose. By the way, if APC brings foward a credible presidential candidate other than the present frontrunners long known for championing ethno/religious cause, I shall vote for the APC candidate. We avoid people who shall win the presidency and throw the gates open for religious zealots. If that happens, the Jihad and counter Jihad that shall follow must make the present religiuos violence a tea party. |
Lucasbalo:Name one instant when Jonathan or his crony transported Nigeria's money abroad or kept stolen money anywhere, you cannot name, you rather still live with your bar parlour accusations of corruption against Jonathan. The opposition manufacture those allegations of corruption to get in millions of semi-litterate and gullible people, including you. That old dictator many of you are rooting for to come and take over from Jonathan, the dictator was the leader at large during the most globally celebrated corrupt Abacha govt in Nigeria. The dictator latter told us that late Abacha was never corrupt. Wise up, do not be swayed by the promise that if you make the old man president, with your tribesman as VP, the old man shall serve for short time and hand over to your tribesman. This is what pushes mnany of you to demonize Jonathan. But be informed that if by any chance the dictator becomes president and cannot finish eight years, his group must insist that their region must complete eight years in office. You cannot do much to stop that. After that eight years tenure, winning the presidency becomes survival of the fittest. Be objective, Jonathan has outperformed his predecessors in office. Take away ethno/religious bigotry, look around and you shall see Jonathan's good accomplishments all over Nigeria. |
olatunji21:List of those who do not believe that President Jonathan is governing Nigeria well: 1, those who unleash violene coloured by religion against Nigeria. 2, those who foolishly believe that their tribesman shall be made Vice President under Buhari president, so that when old Buhari cannot finish eight years in office, their tribesman VP shall automatically become president. But little do they know that in a circumstance of Buhari or any other born to rule president leaving office, born to rule must insist to complete eight years. And after that eight years, becoming president becomes survival of the fittest. 3, the talakawas of far north deceived since 599 BC by their leaders to believe that their reward is in the next world, not on this earth. 4, those who do not understand that those wrecking violence on Nigeria do so to cow Nigerians to submission, in order to vote out the incumbent govt, and vote in those who have similar aspirations to have Nigeria be governed by extreme Islamic sharia laws. 5, those who do not believe that the present govt had since despatched the best of soldiers and weapons Nigeria can afford to stop the insurgents. 6, ethnic/religious bigots who do not believ that someone from a minority tribe or from outside their religion is fit to preside over Nigeria. |
Lucasbalo:Nigeria is being turned upside down by religious extremists/terrorists from the far north of Nigeria, not by President GEJ. Corruption talk spined around Jonathan govt are mostly lies, unverified, unveriable; the corruption spins are from an oppostion group which wants power by all means, it is like an opposition tying corruption rope around Jonathan govt to drown it. They exploit the low literacy condition of Nigerian masses who cannot verify information. In your US, you will agree with me that any opposition party that spins such level of falsehood against a sitting president must get drowned instead by the electorate. You also will agree that in your US, if any opposition party is seen to contain people not condemning enemies of the US, the opposition party must get drowned by the electorate. APC contains most of the northern politicians that introduced use of extreme sharia laws in their states. Boko Haram says that it is fighting for a country governed by extreme sharia laws. Do you even see the nexuses between those politicians and Boko Haram that turns Nigeria upside down? GEj had since dispatched the best of soldiers and amunition that Nigeria could afford, yet because there are too many believers in the religious cause which Boko Haram is fighting for, sabotage of the fighters against Boko Haram remains the greatest obstacle to winning the fight. Think deeper, instesad of making President Jonathan a scape goat. |
Lucasbalo:in the US, Americans team up and fight terrorists. A group of Americans do not terrorise their country with the hope to make their leader guilty so as to have him voted out, so as to make way for beneficiaries from that terrorism to be voted in. In Nigeria, terrorists from a section of the country attack the country, but Nigerian lowlifers and power grabbers, including you, blame the president with the objective to sack him.. Your lot in Nigeria capitalize on poor education of Nigerians and spin unverifiable rumours of corruption against the president, all in the bid to grab power from him. Buf00n, who perhaps lives in the land of democracy and equality, but still gets weighed down by ethnic/religious bigotry. |
cocoduck:US economy is not rich or sustained by agriculture. US and other rich countries are rich through inflow of revenues from industrial output and hitech services. Agriculture in the US or in any rich country only supplements the economy. Lazy drones in Nigeria depend only on doles from Abuja. The worst of the drones live by greater share of the doles they unduly get through a purposely created 36 stsates and Abuja political structure that favours them with a unitary government system; a unitary govt system being wrongly practiced in a multi-ethnic/religious Nigeria. That is why, some Nigerians including perhps you, spin the yarn that agriculture can tomorrow make the money for a country to be rich. Unitary govt system makes Nigerians focus on Abuja doles and ignore Agriculture which is supposed to supplement the oil-driven economy. Repeat, no rich country, including the US, is rich from its agricultural proceeds. |
blemon44:End? When? We use oil money to arm ourselves to kill ourselves, from Biafra to Odi to Gbaramaturu and to now the north of Nigeria; instead of returning fiscal federalism and regional autonomy to Nigeria to end the cause of the infighting. Beginning four decades ago, military dictators sympathetic to the cause of a northern group presided over the political restructuring of Nigeria by creating too many states and Lgas in the group's domain. The group thus overprofits from revenue allocation and from political over- representation in the polity. The group refuses return of regional autonomy to Nigeria, but struggles to take up control of Aso Rock 2015 to sustain Nigeria as it is. Thus, Nigeria's groups fight and kill themselves, as in this case, over who shall preside over Nigeria's purse. |
GodMode:Bundle of deception. Agriculture can only make you feed well, but not fetch enough local cash or foreign money to build even a rail line from Abuja to Kaduna, or run Nigeria under present unitary govt system. Move over to developed Western countries, there a basket of Banana or groundnut from Third world countries sell for less than one Euro. In any case, there is no part of Nigeria that cannot produce enough food to feed people in its area. Reality is tht once crude oil cash stops coming to Nigeria, today's apostles of one Nigeria shall declare independence from Nigeria - take this fact to the Central Bank. |
OrlandoOwoh:Every Nigerian must have freedom. If you do not like that, join your kingdom to Kanem-Borno and the kingdom of descendants of Othman Dan Fodio for a new country where freedom is being restricted and poverty propagated by religious beliefs. Off your eyes from the SS, SE and parts of the Middlebelt kingdoms. A fool at 40 is a fool for ever. How come your masters that restrict freedom shall continue to fool you till thy kingdom come? |
Kongi/Wole Soyinka ought to know: 1, Nigeria Police got adequately informed that Tambuwal and his APC lawmakers had before jumping the fence authored a sinister and illegitimate process to impeach elected President Jonathan. 2, that Tambuwal and his APC goons had to be disallowed entry to the Parliament by police, because if they were allowed in and they started their sinister impeachment process, blood would have flowed and anarcy would descend upon Nigeria. 3, the Tambuwal/Buhari clan's unwritten agreement to hand over power to a SW Vice Presidential candidate after old Buhari has served a short stint is a mere trick to get the Soyinka clan help to hand over Nigeria to the Buhari clan, for the clan to retain apex political office for the next donkey years, because after Buhari's anticipated short term, the Buhari clan must insist and get eight years in office irrespective of what the constitutioon stipulates; and there is nothing the Soyinkas can do about it. After that, occupying Aso Rock shall be for the fittest. Prof Ango Abdullahi from Buhari clan said a shartwhile ago that his clan has the capacity to retain Nigeria's presidency for as long as the clan wants. The Buhari clan had led Nigeria for about 40 of Nigeria's 54 years of independence, rearranged the political structure and governing system of Nigeria and now use their consequent over-representation in the NASS to resist needed return to regional authonomy/true federalism, as well as bully rest of Nigeria. Buhari insisted that Boko is fighting a just cause.. Boko is ighting for sharia extreme laws which 12 northern states, including Buhari' Katsina state also dopted. No condemnation of adoption of sharia laws that cut hands of petty thieves and stoning death of women for adultery by the Buharis. 4, If Nigeria out of fear of insecurity concedes the country via elections to Buhari clan, the fiercer Jihad that must follow and the counter Jihad must make the present Boko Harm violence a child's play. |

Why are people making foolish and clueless statement. If Obj is just contesting for his first term, some of you would have invited him to a presidential debate with GEJ. Firstly, let me tell all of you, that is a dream that will never come true. Buhari, quote me, will never appear for any debate with GEJ. They may appear separately. Muazu who is giving GEJ a hope now after he was almost humiliated and frustrated out of governance at the last hour of Tukur as the chairman cannot even suggest that. Until peace is restored to Nigeria and looters of economy brought to book, no debate, even with who? Umari Dikko, a Fulani man from the same area was to be brought back for questioning at all cost by Buhari a realist, nationalist and detribalised leader. Oduah scandal, Petroleum industry scandal all other scandals are swept under carpet because the suspect are from two particular regions. No wonder, anybody traveling from the two regions to Lagos will observe that good road stop at Ore (Ondo State). Under Obj, those SW people penalized for corruption are tried. I remembered how Prof grange was humiliated because of 20M granted to National Assembly committee on health under Yaradua. The money was later returned. Until there is a proof that GEJ can manage economy under falling oil prices and peace returned to North. Otherwise all those mirage statement - till 2019, till infinity is wishful thinking. Forget about Buhari sitting for debate with anybody.
] ] Unquote. Buhari clan joined ACN for purpose of finally taking over the presidency for another donkey years. The unwritten promise that Buhari shall hand over to a SW Vice President after Buhari serves a short term is a trick. From Oba of Ilorin to Emir of Ilorin, must the Buhari clan always fool the SW? Buhari clan must insist and get eight years in office even if old Buhari serves only one term. Wake up. Buhari was the leader behind the throne during the Abacha most corrupt govt ever in Nigeria. Buhari later said that Abacha was not corrupt. Buhari said that Boko Haram is fighting for justice, but Boko Haram has stated clearly that it is fighting for a country governed with sharia extreme laws such as cutting the hands of thieves and stoning women for adultery, and other harsh laws. 12 northern states, including Buhari's Katsina had since adopted the sharia extreme laws. Buhari has never condemned the adoption. A Buhari presidency must bring up more bitter Jihad, and the counter Jihad that follows must be bloodier than the present violence of Boko Haram. What is the point for a debate over what majority of Nigerians of goodwill know already about Buhari and Jonathan? |
davdandam:Balloteli's fast move to remove the post immediately after placing it should have shown his accusers that he did not understand that the post could be offensive when he made it. NB: but you mf davdandam merits and risks jail time over your mf racist comment. |
davdandam:Badest. |
Haqq4young:Buhari of blood of dog and baboon has his only manifesto as fighting BH. But Boko is fighting for the same extreme sharia laws Buhari believes in because Buhari said earlier that BH is fighting for justice. So you people are using violence to force Nbigereians hate GEJ, and vote in BH sympathizer as Nigeria's president. Allah khiayi, God Forbid. |
