PoliticsRe: 480 Nigerian Soldiers Flee To Cameroon by hansad: 5:51pm On Aug 25, 2014
olapluto: 480!!! WOW!
Well, when they wont get salary on time, have to beg for bullets, and not assured of their family welfare in case they die in action, I dont blame them.
But 480 is an alarmingly high number. The president is not even bothered. He is setting a very very very disturbing precedence here in Nigeria. Never have we had so many deserters.
It is a shame that in a time of war, our leaders are weakening our army.
I fear that by the time GEJ hands over (hopefully next year), he may not have more than 32 states to hand over. Systematic disintegration of Nigeria is going on under a president that is happy to weaken the army to prevent a coup d'etat rather than equip the army to maintain territorial integrity of the country.
Nigerian soldiers desert because they are being sabotaged by insiders for B/Haram. Not because they are not well-equiped. In Gworza, police were asked by superior to drop their AK 47 rifles - more than 200 in number. Immediately after the drop, B/Haram collected all the weapons. Continue to deceive gullible others who do not understand that your lot are marching every Nigerian towards the Islamic Republic of Nigeria. Part of your lot's campaign tricks to get one Islamic Republic of Nigeria is to persuade confused Nigerians to lay every blame on what is wrong with Nigeria on shoeless Jonathan.

PoliticsRe: Boko Haram: Soldiers Mutiny, Demand Better Equipment by hansad: 8:33pm On Aug 19, 2014
RaptorX: All these talk of not having adequate weapons to fight BH is to me just silly excuses, like pointed out earlier the main problem is lack of morale and cowardice. Not weapons or so called sabotage.

I saw a clip on You tube showing BH fighters attacking a Nigerian army base, i dont see the fighters armed with anything the army doesn't have, they had AK 47, some RPG's, pick up trucks mounted with AA guns, what is so sophisticated about those.

These is guerilla war, you dont need too much sophisticated weapons to fight it, ask the Americans how many stealth bombers, tanks, they use to fight the insurgents in Iraq or Afghanistan, and thousands of their soldiers were killed. These is hand to hand combat except the Nigerian govt is ready to bomb the whole north east and kill thousands of civilians.
Those blaming non defeat of B/Haram on lack of sophisticated weaponry of Nigeria Army know what you are talking about, that it is lack of morale on the part of Nigeria army to fight. Because the army had had insider serial sabotage, and personnel killed by B/Haramy. But some people lie to even themselves that lack of sophisticated wapon is the problem. Which army personnel is ready to fight guerrila warfare which is what is required?
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram: Soldiers Mutiny, Demand Better Equipment by hansad: 8:24pm On Aug 19, 2014
ayusco85: Its political
Not political. It is all about FAITH A GROUP OF NIGERIANS HAVE IN THER ISLAMIC RELIGION. THAT'S WHY B/HARAM HAS NOT BEEN DEFEATED BY NIGERIA ARMY.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram: Soldiers Mutiny, Demand Better Equipment by hansad: 7:02pm On Aug 19, 2014
ayusco85: The soldiers are right. If the government want to end boko haram, they can do it within one week. Equip this soldiers and see wonders. Nigerian army aren't that bad, the top officers are just frustrating the soldiers in this fight against insurgency.

Politics stinks in nigeria. This whole insurgency and kidnap is more political than extremism
As there are too many saboteurs for B/Haram in the army, what do you expect?
HealthRe: Doctors Hit Lagos Streets To Protest Mass Sack (PHOTOS) by hansad: 3:47am On Aug 19, 2014
eaglechild: Who do you think signed the memo, it was the permanent secretary on behalf of the dishonourable minister.

Besides GEJ knows nothing about the details of residency training, it the minister's advice that will guide him.
Your jaundiced politics against GEJ which mostly led to doctors strike noted. That jaundiced opinion makes you believe GEJ knows nothing about residency training except Chukwu tells him. You must have attended a university in Mars, while GEJ attended University of Portharourt on earth. If my judgement is correct, you are a doctor. Nigerian doctors have no moral justification to be on strike in the face of ebola palavar.
HealthRe: President Jonathan, Fashola, Sambo Use Hand Sanitizer During Meeting On Ebola by hansad: 10:17pm On Aug 17, 2014
iwonbaoko: We are not illiterates here. Whether it kills bacteria, virus or cockroaches depends on what substance/chemical is being dispensed. It could contain anything from water, to 90% alcohol (which is effective against viruses. Whether it has any effect on viruses depends on WHAT is loaded into the dispenser.

Please do not expose ignorance arrogantly. There is no evidence that they are "ignorant leaders" as you so flippantly claim.
There are many antiviral hand foams on the market and in hospital use e.g

What is more amusing is the number of IGNORANT likes you have got so far
aresa's huge number of likes shows the picture of high level sub-standard education in Nigeria.
HealthRe: President Jonathan, Fashola, Sambo Use Hand Sanitizer During Meeting On Ebola by hansad: 9:19pm On Aug 17, 2014
SirShymex: No pun intended - but I think you're the dimwitted oaf spouting drivel on the thread!

This is the caption for the pictures again:

"President Jonathan pictured using hand sanitizer during on-going meeting on Ebola virus with state governors at the Aso Rock Villa."

^^^^The use of the hand sanitizers in context of the bold is self-explanatory.

So, what's the point of taking pictures with hand sanitizer, at the meeting?
Their using hand sanitizers self-explanatory? What did it explain to you? To prevent ebola use handsanitizers? If tharris what you undestood, sorry. Obviously, those three people washing hands with sanitizrs did not leave the impression that washing hand with sanitizers prevent viral infection. To prevent HIV INFECTION, Do you wash your abunnang with sanitizers? Repeat, for people like you to understand: those three people publicly washed hands with sanitizers to send message that SANER attitudes are necessary in these days of ebola.
HealthRe: President Jonathan, Fashola, Sambo Use Hand Sanitizer During Meeting On Ebola by hansad: 8:40pm On Aug 17, 2014
aresa: Using hand sanitizer is good hygiene practice, but hand sanitizer have zero effect on Ebola.

Hand sanitizer kills bacteria, it doesn't kill virus. sanitizer kills 99.9 % bacteria and not virus, bacteria is different from virus.

These ignorant leaders need to quit the stupidity and stop sending the wrong message.
Significance of hand sanitization they did was tell Nigerian public to maintain sane and clean habits in this season of ebola. They did not tell you that washing hands with sanitizers prevents viral infection like ebola. Only dimwits would read it like you did. You insinuated that Jonathan with a doctorate degree in Zoology, an Architect Sambo and a Senior Legal Advocate Fashola, do not know the difference between virus and bacteria. And you are the one that knows. Wake up, Nigeria's leaders are not all dimwits.

mcgaius: Fashola and APC are saints.GEj is a devil. The state of Ago Road Okota.
Yorubas that root for APC are mostly Muslims who want Buhari to come back at age 78 or so to rule them; notwithstanding the fact that Buhari set the hands of clock backward in Nigeria. Because the religious faith of those Yorubas make them not believe that any one from among themselves is capable of ruling Nigeria. Those APC Yorubas are not necessarily rooting for Tinubu or Fashola.

Jonah to leave 2015 for a supporter of APC rule in Nigeria, preparatory for Nigeria as part of ISIS Caliphate. You go carry your part of Nigeria go join the Caliphate. Be prepared to leave alone the other parts of southern Nigeria who must refuse to join your Caliphate.
PoliticsRe: Aregbesola Wins In Osun Elections With Wide Margin by hansad: 8:24am On Aug 10, 2014
dontjealousme: Why should the rascal Aregbesola announce himself winner in an on going election? Causing voters to either vote for him or give up and return home. APC is a sick party. The election will be settled in court.
Is there any proof that Aregbesola camp publicly pronounced Aregbesola winner when voting was still going on? If there is, it is enough for the court to invalidate INEC declaration of Rauf Aregbesala winner. Nigeria has entered the hall of free and fair elections, such electoral fraud as announcing oneself winner while polling is still going on must be redressed.
PoliticsRe: Aregbesola Wins In Osun Elections With Wide Margin by hansad: 8:02am On Aug 10, 2014
If OBJ is president, Omisore would have been declared winner. Buhari and Tinubu can at best head to the courts. Hope this APC victory shall make Tinubu and Lai Mohammed appreciate President Jonathan's unrivalled democratic credentials, instead of daily telling ridiculous lies against the president. A few days to this election, Tinubu lied that Jonathan kidnapped the Chibok girls. As for Lai Mohammed, well, his official duty in his party includes manufacturing and spreading of false information to gullible Nigerians. So, Lai has lied himself to be regaded as a joker in the park. Congrats Aregbe.
PoliticsRe: BREAKING: APC’s Aregbesola Wins Osun Governorship Election by hansad: 7:29am On Aug 10, 2014
Imagine OBJ being president now. PDP's Omisore would have been declared winner of this Osun state election. At worse Jagaband and Buhari would go to court.
PoliticsRe: Osun Poll Today, What Is Happening In Your Area? by hansad: 11:37pm On Aug 09, 2014
Desola: What da fork! Speak English Okolo!
So you couldn't understand a statement written in English language in such a simple manner? And you earlier claimed that you are from a most learned and sophisticated group. Shophischicated indeed, when you want to take the good ones among you back to political servitude - bowing rankadede before Born To Rule for any simple favour in Nigeria. It shall hugely pay you to gerrout of here, instead of exposing your most lowly intelligence quotient.
PoliticsRe: Osun Poll Today, What Is Happening In Your Area? by hansad: 10:46pm On Aug 09, 2014
Desola: One will think that will the length of time you sub humans have had to integrate with the enlightened Yorubas in our land, our intelligence would have rubbed off on you a tad bit and you will have learnt to be coherent and intelligible. Alas all those years spent in civility has been futile. There still remain one habitual space for the gorilla and I'm afraid to say that it is the jungle.

How much more aid must Yorubas extend to you new discoveries?
If 50% of Yoruba are like you, it would have been glad and easier having you in your country of Arewa Islamic Republic.
You pretended you did not understand what I wrote that your lot stewpidly believe that ALLAH welded you and some others in Nigeria together by force.

You are not being drenched because you have solace under the umbrella of real and reasonable Yorubas. But there has to be a limit to tolerating unreasonable people like you.

PoliticsRe: Osun Poll Today, What Is Happening In Your Area? by hansad: 10:11pm On Aug 09, 2014
Desola: Surprise me and say something your Igbo brothers and sisters haven't said.

Nonsense! E don tey wey yansh don face back. If you misbehave I will show you that I have pankere for your size.

Flogging ibos is a task that must be done.

Awon omo eran!
You just have that false belief that ALLAH welded people like you and the others in SS and SE forever in one country. And it is like flogging Ibos is your favourite tune, and you strive to be in one country with them. You are still living in the 1960s. Next time you want to flog Ibos, sure there MUST be no more alliance of global forces to enable you flog Igbos, like in civil war. You sef, you are not current, only insult full your mouth, so exchange of words with you is waste of time. Out of religious bigotry, you were insulting the senses of your fellow Yoruba kparakpos in Ekiti state, so I expected worse from you.
PoliticsRe: Osun Poll Today, What Is Happening In Your Area? by hansad: 9:38pm On Aug 09, 2014
Desola: Look at this religious bigot! You must think I'm one of those simpletons are are continually being churned out in the se and ss part of the country. I am Yoruba and that automatically makes my IQ light year away from yours. I don't subscribe to your stupid religious divide and rule agenda most of all concocted by the dumbest president Nigeria has ever had the misfortune of producing. Unlike you fvckwitts, I will vote a Hausa candidate a million times before considering less humans from the ss or se so naff off you simpleton! I don't particularly take pride in suffering fools gladly but you are pushing the envelope!
You said you are Yoruba and must vote an Hausa man president a million times before any candidate from SS or SE. You mentioned bigotry. Do you even know what bigotry is? You do not. Because your stand on who you can vote as president set you out as an incurable religious bigot. If not for the millions of reasonable Yorubas, it would be ideal to merge people like you to Sharia Islamic Republic of Arewa.
PoliticsRe: Osun Poll Today, What Is Happening In Your Area? by hansad:
Desola: Asunu! Ekiti people are only hungry for rice and not blood; the kind your evil Ebola Jonathan is sharing. Come 2015, the whole Yoruba race will come together to resoundingly kick your demented president to the creeks of Otuoke!
Most probable that religion leads your senses. That Osun state is a Muslim state judging from pictures of voters in queue today. Is that not the state that wanted Ribadu as president in 2011? Born to Rule which Buhari represents dealt with Yoruba for the decades which Born to Rule led Nigeria. You now rush to return Yoruba to lick the asseeeee of Born To Rule again, and perhaps for up to the next 50 years? Look, once Born to Rule is handed Nigeria's presidency in 2015, neither Yoruba, nor Igbo or Ijaw or Tiv or Bini or Igala shall occupy Aso Rock many decades after. In fact, if Born To Rule wins presidency in 2015, any body not from the clan of Born To Rule cannot occupy Aso Rock, perhaps in the next fifty or even hundred years.

dhamstar: ONLY GOD KNOWS WHAT'S HAPPENING TO US THESE DAYS!

Fellow Nigerians, I've been asking this question for a while now,"Where and when did we get it all wrong"? People are being slaughtered on a daily basis like a cow in abateur by some unscrupulous elements. The massacring of innocent souls in the nation is now a normal routine. God! Where art thou? Come help rescue our dear country that is gradually crumbling and falling apart.
15 innocent people killed, and perhaps, their killers may never be apprehended. The killers operated from 9pm till daybreak, no policing. Your dear country has been bleeding and crying for it to be divided into smaller, peaceable and manageable countries. But interest groups and politicians ignore this because of oyel money- NOT FOR THE INTEREST OF DEAR COUNTRY. If Nigeria were to be in Europe and Ameriaca or even Asia, Nigeria would have since been split into many peaceable countries. 160million people perishing and held hostage in One Nigeria by a few interest groups.
