Hello yall, I have been seeing animes for a while now but I dived in fully in 2020 when lock down came.... Lol
I completed or watched to the latest anime seasons the ffg Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, death note, attack on titan, Fullmetal Alchemist brotherhood, one punch man, hunter x hunter, Avatar last air bender,

I started and stopped the following along the line for different reasons,
black lagoon, boruto, bleach, dragon ball z.
I wasn't feeling black lagoons story, boruto was boring, bleach has hope and good ratings & I can probably continue if there's no other anime to watch, DBZ looks nice but the animation looks old so I kindda gave up but like bleach, I can continue if there's no anime to watch that interests me.

Am currently on Mob psycho 100 S2, Claymore, Goblin Slayer, Samurai Champloo.... I'm definitely feeling mob psycho and samurai Champloo, not sure if I would continue with Claymore and Goblin Slayer.

I loved Naruto and Naruto Shippuden a lot but cuz it's lengthy I would rank them according to my personal preferences like this,
Attack on Titan my number 1 spot
One punch man,
Hunter x Hunter,
Naruto Shippuden & Naruto,
Avatar: last air bender,
Death Note
Full metal Alchemist brotherhood... This series has very high ratings along with death note but I was not as thrilled watching it like the rest probably because I love action/fighting animes and prefer fast paced animes like one punch man.
Pls, can anyone recommend top action animes preferably fast paced, with atleast a decent story line.. Thank u
Christianity EtcRe: Bishop Oyedepo: If You Don’t Pay Your Tithe You Are Under A Financial Curse by hansmond93: 12:07pm On Jul 18, 2020
As a Christian, there are some truth you have to know, the Devil is the god of this World. When u give ur life to Christ, u are personally declaring the devil as your enemy as you accept Jesus as your Lord. The devil remains the god of this world, and infact he holds the prosperity of this World, that was why he could tempt Jesus to bow to him and promised to give Jesus the whole riches of the World.
Luke 4:5 - 7.

Jesus complemented the Jews for receiving tithes, He said they should have done it...Mat 23:23....i guess u can argue that the pharisees and scribes were Jews but Jesus gave His Okay.

Hebrews 7:8 also shed some light about tithing, about how our tithes are received by God.

You also have to know that coming under a curse does not necessarily have to be from God, nothing we do or don't do changes/affects God, God tells us to do things so that Satan does not have access to us, God is the God of all creations and He is Faithful, once u don't do what He says, u can leave yourself open to an attack from the enemy. Whether u pay tithe or not doesn't change God, it doesn't even affect ur Salvation but not paying makes the devil have a field day on ur finances. It's simple, u want ur finances protected from the evil one, u want God to keep enlarging your coast, you want your income secure, pay your tithes.

Pls, never compare a believer to a non-believer, devil doesn't care about an unbeliever, they are all under his domain, he can afflict them with anything he wants at anytime because they are in darkness and under his dominion. A non-believer might be fornicating and still be enjoying his life, a fornicating Christian would never have a strong relationship with Jesus and he/she would know something is wrong. The Devil would have a field day on his inheritances in Christ Jesus. This is how the devil does his mission of killing, Destruction and stealing.... John 10:10. He did the same to Adam, making him sin(disobey) against God and stealing all of Adam's control and Power, Adam was the god of this World but lost it when the devil made him sin, devil said in luke 4:6 that the glory of this world was delivered to him. We definitely know that God gave Adam dominion of everything He created and not the devil but Adam delivered it to the devil through sin.
Sin/disobedience of God's instructions makes us vulnerable/lose out to the devil.

The fact that Bill Gates, Dangote and the likes don't pay tithes and they are rich doesn't matter because they are not Christians, the Devil can mess with them anytime, anybody not saved is under the dominion of the Devil.
See Ephesians 2: 1-3...before we were born again, the Devil was in charge of our life.
See Colossians 1:13.....we were under the power(dominion) of darkness before delivered, the devil could do absolutely anything he wants to people in darkness, he's their lord.

As a Christian, Personally, I believe giving is more important, infact, giving more than our tithes, we see in the new testament how the gentiles were giving to the Saints in Jerusalem, we saw how early Christians sold their lands and laid the money at the apostles feet so that distribution could be done to the poor.

If u can't even tithe 10% of your income, which Jesus calls the unrighteousness mammon(worldly wealth) in Luke 16:11, how can u now be entrusted with the true riches of God's kingdom?
If u believe in giving to God, I personally don't see why tithing would be difficult for u to do.

Lastly, why don't people mind their own business, people that are paying tithe ain't complaining, how come people that are not paying are affected? Is it your money? Also, do u think tithers are stupid? Do u think some ain't more educated than u? Do u think some ain't wiser than u?
The Science u trust in can't even agree on an explanation for the human Mind that has been with us since we started existing, can't properly explain Consciousness and many more other things. This World is far more Spiritual than it is Physical.

How come things work in the Church? Churches have the best Schools, 24/7 electricity, good roads, Churches bring foreigners to this Country the most, if not that our govt is stupid, instead of fighting the church, why not benefit from the Church with stuffs like church visa where foreigners can apply for Nigerian Visa based on getting a sort of paper or form from churches where they intend to visit.

If not for Churches that started missionary Schools, most of yall would be illiterates. Why are things working in the Church and the Country is bad? And dumb educated fools would still be shouting? Govt is collecting your tax monthly and u can't call out the govt but churches can be called out for their teachings on tithing. Something that's not by force, u pay your tithe, u don't pay, nobody cares in Church, nobody discriminates, u are all welcome.
Covenant University that was established in 2002 is ranked by the times higher education as number 4 University in Africa with UI, the closest Nigerian University coming in 8th position. Don't u think if the Church was the govt, things would be different?

If u think Christians are that stupid or gullible, please start your own church and let's see how many people will attend..

If your total generation's impact plus ur impact is as Great as Bishop David Oyedepo, then u can continue dissing him but otherwise I simply ask that u be wise and think, 'what has this man done that I and my generations have not done'?
Respect the man, the power of the Flesh can't achieve what the man has achieved biko.

I don't even want to start listing Supernatural things that has happened to people in the Church, those are too much to list, do I start with myself or do I start with how a friend of mine that was poisoned through his alcohol drink, got healed in the Church when even his parents gave up on him, his mother was a nurse mind u. Nobody laid hands on him.
Do I continue with how a woman with terminal cancer that was placed at the entrance of the church suddenly stood up and became healed after some hours while service was on without anybody praying for her?

Pls, my Christian brothers and sisters, we are not of this world, the Bible says a natural man cannot receive the things of God, it is foolishness unto them.
Don't let them dissuade u from paying tithes, it's a Covenant that commits God to your finances. It is for your sole benefit, I would just ask that u follow biblical rules of giving when paying your tithes,
Give it to God cheerfully,
Give it to God in Faith, knowing fully well that as u play your path, God is committed to His path in the Covenant.
Give it in Love, give it because u love God, u want to see His kingdom expand, u care about His kingdom, His affairs.

The first American Billionaire in history was a tither from his first pay check, John D Rockerfeller.... Christians that engage God's Covenant end up setting up new records. Eyes have not seen nor ears heard, neither has it entered the heart of men, what God has in store for them that love Him.
Loving God is obeying His commandments...1John 5:3

Let's relax brethrens, everything is for our God and in turn for his sons and daughters....
May God bless all the true Churches of Christ in Nigeria,
May God bless all the true men of God in Nigeria,
May God bless the Living Faith Church,
May God bless Bishop David Oyedepo!!!!
In Jesus mighty name.
AMEN!!!

Hello everyone,
I got an admission (fall 2020) Msc Agricultural and Environmental Systems at North Carolina A&T University with NO Funding.
I wrote mails to faculty and grad co-ord, and I got this reply from one of the faculty:

Hello Bleep,

First, congrats on your admission. If you are able to secure a visa, I can offer you a Teaching Assistantship in one of my classes. As a TA, you will be paid $8,000/semester but it will be contingent on you getting a visa. I hope this helps.

All the best!

Please, what should I do?
Congrats, this is great news. I think you should mail the Professor, thanking him for the offer and then mail the graduate school or the international students office or similar. Since it's fall 2020, I don't know if they would be issuing out your i-20 ASAP cuz fall 2020 stil far small.
You should inform them of the Professor's Assistantship offer and dey might ask you to request for a contract letter from the professor and submit to them so they can process your I-20 form reflecting the Assistant offer from the School.
All the best!!!

In Jesus mighty name, I'm going to share my transcripts here on this part 15 by fire by force...
Got admitted into louisiana state university, Msc Computer Science for fall 2019.... Funding not forthcoming. I plan to meticulously shoot for spring 2020, research shcools that may fund me either for spring 2020 or fall 2020.
My profile....
Bsc Physics 2013, gpa 3.66/5.0
Around 3.2 with Wes free evaluation.
Work experience.... Sh*tty
no job for a year after nysc, customer care agent with Etisalat for a year, teaching for about two years and this 2019, I just secured a role as software developer for a software firm, we build enterprise softwares, customize for the customers and deploy them at major banks in Nigeria and outside 9ja. Very nice role, I'm learning every day.
I'm hoping this work experience would help sweeten my profile a bit as it was nt included in my fall applications to Louisiana state university baton rouge and university of louisiana lafayette. (lafayette rejected me on the basis of nt having enough comp science background).

GRE in September 2018, prepared for less than a month as I wasn't sure i was gonna write, I was preparing nd I had no cash to pay for the exam, i stumbled on some cash nd registered for the exam with BY Mayfit three days to the day I wrote it. Some spaces opened up then.
I had 304....verbal - 149, Quant - 155
TOEFL - 96, R- 25, L - 26, S- 22, W-23
I know I can do better on the GRE but am nt sure I can rewrite with this new job, any day i get to watch movie is a testimony, na C#, MVC, web api, angular tutorials full my phone and laptop.

Please I need gurus in the house to guide me on schools to apply to, that can fund my profile, now I know that I have to mail those grad coordinators nd explicitly ask about fundings from them before I apply. I didn't do that in my previous applications.

I have read here that APSU funds a lot but their comp science has focus in Actuarial, financial nd all. I'm not sure the program would suit me at all.

Congratulations to everybody that has gotten their visa for fall 2019 and many more that will still get.

@everyBody kindly assist!!!!

Thank you so much

And a lot of schools offering Computer Science have a software engineering research laboratory to conduct research in software engineering.... So u can also do research in Software Engineering even though Msc software engineering is a professional Msc.

I don't want to go down the route of making an unnecessary argument here because of this issue. The fact that you tried and didn't make it does not mean another person cannot try and make it too. And while I acknowledge most of the comments you stated, it is very wrong to claim that every international athlete that comes to the US achieved their goal through connections. While this may be true in some cases, it is very wrong to make generalizations. There are some people that worked extremely hard + smart and did things you either did not do or things you probably would not like to mention.

Again, I said in my last comment that I'm involved more than just a fan, and through this capacity, I have met lots of international college athletes who did not get in through referrals. Even if a referral is the only way to get to the US, there is nothing stopping the poster to seek those referrals by networking with those people that might give him the referral. The fact you didn't do it doesn't mean another person cannot do it. Success is more about the effort and hustle you put into what you do. I have seen athletes that have traveled far distances on their expenses to attend trials with no guarantee of getting recruited. Your success depends on the hustle you put into it. There are numerous examples I can mention... It all depends on how badly you want the success, how much you want to hustle and how much risk you want to take.

Trying and failing for one or two years, before quitting, doesn't suggest that you really wanted it badly or you were ready to make big calls (take huge risks) to achieve your goal. A lot of people try to become athletes and when they fail after a few trials, they revert back to school or take other safer options. From my experience, most successful athletes never really had a plan B. It was sports or nothing else and while a lot of them fail and become unproductive in the society, some of them end up becoming successful. So, the fact you took the safe route shouldn't make you discourage someone that wants to take a riskier route cos you never can tell if the person can be successful.

Stop putting fear into the mind of the guy. If he really wants to achieve his goal, he can do it! The fact Mr. A or Mr. B failed in achieving the goal doesn't mean he will fail. It all depends on the hustle you put into it.

No be human being dey write the referral? Mtchew
Nobody is saying the boy should nt try. He's just being adviced not to put too much hope on it and study hard to get good grades in SAT so in case the athletics scholarship doesn't work out, he can fall back on good grades.
Nd again the boy should probably research athletic scholarships in schools that may not be as tough as Duke so in case duke doesn't want him, other schools may consider him.

Luck,

if you get rejected
If u were so sure about his profile, u wouldn't even mention rejection. I was sure of what he is walking into.

plan B or retry again.
Plan B is not always a fall back plan. Sometimes, it runs simultaneously with plan A. I have told him to ace his SAT n apply to multiple colleges, but u r indirectly telling him to be prepared to waste some years of his life on "try again later."

If u r 7feet, n u can't even bounce a ball, I guarantee you, u hv a very very good shot at an athletic scholarship. If u r just at the same height with most other kids in America, hmmmm.

U can teach a poor 7feet basketballer how to play, u cannot teach a 6feet 2inch basketballer how to be tall. There r always high demand for heights.

Dude's moniker is "PointGuard", I can guess how tall he is.

To d OP, if your guts tell u to apply, then apply. but u deserve to know what u r up against. Duke's Point-Guards r NBA players "masking" as college students. U will need to train hard cos d kids u trying to beat hv been training hard since age 5 or 6. U will also need a coach, because if all u play is just 3v3, u haven't learned d game. Besides, I personally know a guy who got into a Tennessee University from 200level in a Nigerian University based on basketball ALONE, dude was a freak. That's another possibility. Loads of other guys r also drafted to go play highschool basketball, n then switch to college basketball. U can also try the basketball camps like Ejike's camp, u can get exposure to foreign coaches. Between me n bracelum, u can deduce d person who knows what he is saying. This is not some phantom motivational quote.

You can always play professional basketball, but don't hang so tight onto this Duke's ticket.

Please read Mark 10:29-30.
Jesus rewards here on earth first, that's why He gave the commandments in the 1st place. He's a Covenant keeping God.
"Do this and you get this in return"
See example of Abraham, he was very rich even unto old age,
David had abundant of gold
Solomon was rich, glorious,
Joseph became a prime minister in Egypt
The Israelites were blessed even till this day... Isreal is still formidable
You can't serve God and be poor... He doesn't have a choice than to bless you because He blesses every one that serves Him here on earth and still rewards them in heaven.

His undergraduate degree is in Mathematics/statistics.
He just submitted an application to university of new England in Armidale for a master's in Information Technology(business).
While reading the forum here, I came across some things which I don't really understand. I noticed that some schools are AL1, please what does this really mean? Does it mean that visa is easier to get for them or they are highly ranked.

I would also like to know about how long the admission takes if anybody has applied to that same school before. We submitted the application yesterday and the deadline is March 5 for the June intake he applied for.

Also, what are the chances of PR after studies with that course?

Thank you so much for your time.

The requirements is..

"Financial and any other documents you believe will support your application and which give credible evidence that you have enough readily-available funds to meet all expenses for the first year of study and that you have access to funds sufficient to cover all expenses while you remain in the United States."

The fund in the account should definitely cover at least your first year tuition and living fee as stated on your I-20 but you must also have access to funds that cover all expenses while your schooling in the state.
A statement that covers only your first year may not be sufficient, probably a statement that covers at least two years or more... My opinion tho, you can get better light from the requirement above.

Goodmorning beautiful people ,i love the work you guys are doing here thanks and God bless. Please i am confused and need the best suggessions ,please dont read my post and pass without helping. I am a mum of two toddlers 4 and 3 years old and we have a running b1/b2 vis a and plan to further my studies in the usa ,i have a bachelors degree in chemistry from a nigerian university with a gpa of 2.6/5.0 .My initially plan was to go for my masters in chemistry but i feel it will be very tasking and almost impossible running a masters with 2 kids all by myself and the possibility of getting a good paying job is not that high and someone suggested my going for my PHD after my masters,im not sure i want to spend that long schooling,my second option is to go apply to a community college for a chemistry programme (just to get a an f1 visa at the embassy),or do i just get to the us and then get a school and apply for a f1 visa instead of passing through all the hurdles in nigeria embassy then when i get to the usa i change it to nursing (run a 2 year programme in nursing ) and upgrade my RN to BSN with time. I still dont know if this is a better option for me and please what are the best ways to get assistantship for this programmes. please help me out.
From what I have read here, conversion from B1/B2 visa is a tough prospect so I think traveling with your B1 then changing to F1 over in the states might not be an option.

Going for Msc with that cgpa should be possible but Assistantship may not be possible with that cgpa but u may write GRE and ace it well to increase ur chances of an Assistantship. Taking care of two children, Msc + Assistantship duties won't be a an easy task if u wanna get good grades.

Since u already have a BSc in Chemistry and u are interested in Nursing, I would advice you go for an accelerated nursing degree in the Usa. They allow you into the program with a Bsc degree then u complete like 4 semesters or more to get a Bachelors nursing degree. Not all schools offer it but u have to Google and check requirements for accelerated nursing degree in those schools. I think you should be able to defend the reason you are goin for an accelerated nursing program at the embassy as chemistry is a research course and nt a career course like nursing that will boost your job/career prospects.
I know Truman state university has an accelerated degree program in nursing but u have to read info thoroughly on their web page, mail and call them to fully understand the process. Understanding the info about their accelerated nursing degree is a bit tough, I am trying to do the same for my sister with a kid also.

But pls research other schools that offer accelerated nursing as their process might be easier than Truman state's own.

Concerning Assistantships, it's virtually impossible, but scholarships might be an option but I would erase that cuz of ur cgpa.
I hope gurus in the house would contribute and give you other options.
All the best ma'am!!!

Hi guyz, I have 3 admissions(2PhD and 1Msc) and one pending decision(Msc) for fall 2019. I am still waiting for graduate assistantship decisions from the three schools. However, I have been asked to send in SOA for the three schools in order to process I20. My question is, can i send one SOA to the three schools to generate three I20s because i don't know the exact school that might give me assistantship before fall 2019 resumption. thanks.
Congratulations on your admission decisions.
From what I have read here, I think your I-20 has to show that you have funding for the VO's at the embassy to actually believe that a school has decided to fund u during your interview.
If you go ahead and forward SOA to receive ur I-20s, your I-20 may likely show that you have a sponsor different from your proposed funding. You may later need an updated I-20 to show that your have Assistantship/funding when u end up getting funded. So, why not relax till you get funding before requesting for your I-20...

I stand to be corrected as this may not be entirely correct.

Good evening everyone,
Profile.
Gre : 320
TOEFL: 100
Experience: 2+
GPA: 2.2 (3.47)
Intended course of study : Industrial engineering
Two admits: Tamuk and wvu ( no funding)
Awaiting University of New haven.

I feel i am doing something wrong in relation to funding
This GRE score is HOT.
Your GPA should be around 3.0/4.0 when converted. How solid were ur recommendations and SOP?
Then your undergradaute course is....?
UNH would likely fund you with Assistantship but their funding does not cover your whole tuition. 75% I think.
You can also mail those schools you were admitted to, to enquire about other types of funding like Graduate assistant(different from Graduate teaching Assistantship and Graduate Research Assistantships).

Obyknow:
For those interested

Georgia Southern University is waiving application fee for most of their grad program, offer on till 17th February
This is very nice but I checked their MSC computer science, some other science and Engineering courses. It seems transcript evaluation by a NACES accredited organisation is Compulsory for International students.
I like the fact that they also don't need official TOEFL and GRE scores before they consider applicants for admission.
I applied tho, it doesn't hurt to try.
Thanks for the INFO smiley

Good day everybody, please I have a brother who wants to apply for a technical program in the USA at the Universal technical institute. The visa required would be an M1 visa for vocational students. Please I would like to know if M1 visa students can work on campus during the duration of the program. Google has been giving me inconsistent answers and I would really appreciate input from anybody that has info about this or is in the us and knows about this visa class wella. Thanks alot.
