The president is not a super human who will personally know all the 43 minister designates that were nominated by state governors and party leaders. There are reasons why the woman is recommended for CS and not because the hospital wants to make money..

1.If the child hasn't turned or isnt in the way he or she should be for delivery..A good hospital would have seen it even before you get close to labour and recommended CS for the mother..

2..If the weight is too big,a good hospital would recommend CS for you straight up without beating around the Bush.. They already know there is no way that baby is coming out through a normal delivery..

3..If during the cause of labour the woman isnt dilating and maybe some other medical reasons I dont know..But these are most reasons they do and those I experienced in my little own experience..

So when I see Nigerian women praying against CS I just look at them and laugh..While my wife was about going into labour.. She was admitted when they discovered she had already dilated..The pains haven't even started at all then but immediately she dilated she was admitted as she went for antenatal that day and she was checked because her EDD was almost near..

In the room where she was admitted,there was another woman there who was already in pains..according to what my wife heard when the doctors came to check her,she wasn't progressing and she was just on 4CM...In labour you must get to almost 10CM before you are wheeled to the labour room..The hospital already recommended CS for her but she was hesitant,Her husband was telling her they should go for it but she was still dragging her feet..

The hospital told her they are giving her till evening to see if she will progress if after then she is going for CS..By evening time,The doctor came and told her point blank..."Madam,We have never had a case of Mother and Child Mortality in this hospital and we dont want to start from you,It is either we do this or we refer you to UCH"

This was more or less like a mission hospital o cos the hospital is owned by a church..They never prayed or claimed one Hebrew women whatever,They told her the situation of things..That was when she agreed and she was taken to the CS room.The operation did not take more than 20mins and the baby was brought out hale and healthy together with the mother.

Now,there was every tendency she could have lost her life and that of her baby if she insisted..
