Education › Re: What Do First Class Graduates Do Different From Other 2.1 Students? by hardbody: 6:36pm On Mar 23, 2019 |
BabangidaHamza: Please my only advice is that grade don't matters when it comes to university nowadays.. You might graduate with first class and still got no job.. Some first class students always believed that their grade will help them get automatic job from the university which is not true.. Just graduate, if u can invest in business invest, if u c work go do.. But if u allow first class mentality take over u, d person wey dey push wheelbarrow get future pass u I will employ a first class who performs well in an interview ahead of you. First class helps you get a foot in the door ahead of others. It provides uncles no opportunity to refuse to help. Make a first class and then let's worry about unemployment later. |

Business › Re: Business Advise Needed by hardbody: 10:31am On Mar 22, 2019 |
This is a clear case of putting the cart ahead of the horse. You should have made this enquiry first before committing cash to shop acquisition and refurbishing. Anyways, you can hardly ever go wrong on food business. Just ensure you have a good cook and deliver top notch service excellence. If you can, supervise sales yourself and familiarise yourself with your regular customers. If call a few by name, they will be stuck with you. All the best. |
Travel › Re: The Problems Travellers Face At Nigeria’s International Airports by hardbody: 10:17am On Mar 22, 2019 |
Citizen0: Thank you op, it's terrible. Not only in most of the airports in Nigeria. Even those guys that checks Ebola, very shameful indeed. Bros when last did they do this, it's been a long time ago na. Having said that, I personally do not have any of the issues above mentioned. If you factor in the traffic, then try and leave early enough to get to the airport in good time. I'd rather spend 5 hours lounging around the airport than rush to meet with boarding requirements. The closest I had been subtly asked for money in Lagos was when I was going to Kenya. One idiot asked what I was going to do on Kenya and i retorted, what is exciting in Kenya to attract me? He asked how much I had in me, I brought out my course invitation letter that states that my trip was all expenses paid. The conversation ended. The next time I got a similar silly question was in Heathrow. A co.ck.y english girl asked what I came to do, and I told her I was there to review documents and agree terms with my colleagues in her country. That rubbed off badly. She then asked red faced, how long do you intend to stay, I said if I can get this agreement signed today, I will leave with the next flight out of London. She went on, why the urgency, I said I had a job to go back to. She did not look up, just stamped and handed over my passport. My point, is, if you plan yourself well and your trip is legit, you don't have to be late for your flight and you you don't have to succumb to any manner of extortion. You could, on your own, appreciate any personnel of your choice depending on the level of service rendered to you. |
