Hanabian: The fact that you placed Absu in 12th position means you are misinformed. Absu should be between 1st - 3rd in that list as long as Law is concerned!!!
I have a 2.1 graduate from ABSU who beyond not being good admitted that the school is not the best place to study law, I am currently grooming her.
Having said that, I don't denigrate schools, I look at the lecturers over time and the students alongside their interest to learn and study. Truth is some schools just don't cut it, my LLM in UNILAG was a waste of my time and resources. Certainly not all lecturers would have been like the ones that took me.

charliejose: Your comprehension of the message passed across is what's important. And I do hope your "prowess" in English language is adding anything to your account.
Brainless.
On your second question, yes. I earn money playing with words, both oral and written. Any further questions?
charliejose: If you were in the same position as these "corrupt" leaders of ours, I'm sure you wouldn't be any different or even do worse self. Corruption is in our vains. It's like the food we eat.

zeke100: I've been active on LinkedIn for a while now, although I've seen job posts through the LinkedIn job application but I believe I've not been noticed enough maybe due to the fact that I don't want to abuse the platform by searching random names to connect with them.
Please, how have you been doing this that singled you out of the multitude of your peers on the platform. Thank you
Honestly I am still below the 500 mark, but i consciously accept invites from recruiters and headhunters. I specifically only seek their connections too, that way, the chain of their other links get to see me. That simple and i am not even on premium
koolg: Short-sighted assertion A worker with average salary of 10m per annum has 100m in 10 years while an entrepreneur may not even make 20m in same duration
OriginalKogiboy: Bro, no big company staff get that time. na scammer dey call u so. u go tell us more latter
You are wrong. My last three jobs were from LinkedIn. I have turned town a few others since my last job that I am currently on. It so happens that after I read, people are looking at you on LinkedIn, within days, i receive mails through the box and on a few occasions calls. They almost always attach a JD once there is a contact with me
DWJOBScom: An acquisition to make it stronger Am out for anything that will make deceptive and disillusion stance towards customers as displayed by Jumia and it's staff sit up

If only that clueless, Daura, deaf old man invested in Education like this, Nigeria would be a little better than it is now.
Instead, he choose his people & cows over Nigeria.
How can you invest in an asset you don't know exists? A school drop out can only act within the level of his literacy and in his instance, he left school with NEPA bill.
He is investing in cows and marauding. ...those are level playing field for him
Andy2274: . You just judged yourself. Tell me what preparation is. I am not surprised if you are one of them that put graduate through written test and 3 oral interviews and the only time you see them smile at the applicant is when they want to tell you that your salary is #30,000 and you will work from Monday to Saturday. Go to good companies if they do all these nonsense. They give you time not those idiots that will send you interview message by 7pm for interview the next day by 8am at lekki when they see Iyana ipaja in your address. I have attended interview with 2 oil firms they serve breakfast and pay me. Ask anybody that have attended interview with Total and Saipem like 5 years back. HR people like you that graduate with 3rd class and was manipulated to be in position will be looking for first class and second class upper with 25years of age and 3yrs experience for a job of 30k.
Yes bro, beyond the buffet i ate at Shell, NLNG, chevron and one other i can't remember now, they picked my bill for the flight as I had flown from Lagos. It is all these mushroom roadside companies that come up with all these sinister unilateral tests that are unknown to standard human capital best practise. A potential employee is not a beggar, he is bringing his services which will be paid for, so he also has rights ab initio
wristbangle: Bro, I am equally perplexed like you when I read the story.
For crying out loud, why would a recruiter judge a candidate based on her starving stomach knowing that they were the one that caused it by delaying her.
Some organisation judgement to access potential employees is horrible.
As for me, I totally disagree with her HR friend
Madam, this method to test her competence is archaic and seriously flawed. She might pretend and eventually collapsed during the interview session. On whose account would that read for. She didn't do anything wrong
In all my interviews with the upstream oil and gas companies, buffet was always part of the bargain and i will assume it's part of the assessment only to the extent they want to know how cultured you are and not to test my focus on the job. It will be arbitrary and unreasonable to remain hungry when I have food and the time to eat it. I have, on my own, requested for coffee a number of times in the course of an interview and it has never been used against me.
On Sunday 14th January, 2018, a big Uncle, Adekunle Ajayi called on phone to tell me a story:
"My brother, how are you? Am sorry, I know I have offended you but I will pay my fine whenever we see"
I have a good news for you, I am now the CMD of FTH, Ido-Ekiti.
"Wow!", I said.
He continued:
"Its like a miracle to me. I saw an advert in Punch Newspaper last year, calling for application for the position of Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Federal Medical Center, Ido-Ekiti and I applied.
"22 of us, including the Acting CMD applied. However, 18 of us were shortlisted for interview. We sat for a very rigid aptitude, oral and computer tests.
"Alas, the Minister of Health recommended the THREE people with highest mark to Mr. President to pick ONE from.
"Fortunately, I scored the highest MARK but unfortunately, I do not have anyone to lobby for me.
"When I saw the rate at which people were lobbying, I gave up.
"But last week, I got a phone call that I was picked on MERIT. I didn't lobby anyone, I didn't call anyone, God did it. I got it on merit."
What a mighty God we serve!!!!!
I join all lovers of Merit to Congratulate this dutiful, hardworking and Principled Adviser of Mine as he resume today as CMD, Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti.
Meanwhile, Uncle told me a story before he dropped the call:
"I rejected appointments at Shell and Chevron in Lagos to accept an offer in Ado-Ekiti about two decades ago. I also rejected a juicy offer at OAUTH to remain in Ekiti. My instinct told me I will reach the pinnacle of my career in Ekiti and here I am today. I was the youngest among other the applicants"..
Congrats once again, Dr. Adekunle Ajayi, an Ekiti Man that doesn't take NO for an answer!!!
jayson87: remember seeing this babe one time with my photographer, i was chatting her up before he told me she's a celeb and she's married. she's a cool lady i must confess. she didn't even rub the regalia of being a star on my face, impressive if you ask me
Did you just say star? My dear we are all stars in this firmament. What people perceive may differ. I see individuals and humans doing well in their callings, same as I am doing in mine. I don't recognise anyone as a celebrity or a star. Before you ask the usual question, know me and google me.
I am proud to be part of this noble profession, no matter what people say.
Noble by birth, noble by inclination, noble by calling....
I feel bad for ogunba.....he was doing very well....but that's part of the tenets. I almost got one SAN derobbed but he came to his senses and apologized.
