DeHEIGHTS: This lecturer, Sha wanted to prove he has seen the Black Panther.
Just because one of the consultant medical doctors, who doubles as a lecturer, and one of the examiners in the ongoing Final Professional (Part III) MBBS Examination for final year medical students, in the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, wanted to prove to his students that he has seen the Black Panther movie, he was just writing Wakanda, Wakanda "upandan"!
Imagine 5 Wakandas in a single question!
In a way, he must have helped the students relieved some tension during the exam. I think it's cool. I can actually pass this paper without having studied medicine at all. Chai... Well maybe my background in pre-med is making it look cheap. As for the wakanda man...well... |

Seriously speaking, how can a woman beat a man. At 42 that man should be able to break iron with his hands, although the lady is at the height of her strength at 28, especially if she is still childless. Wahala is, if you beat a woman in a fight, you are a woman beater and if she beats you silly, you are a wimp, you just can't win.
The man should cover his shame indoors, lock door, collect beating and beg the woman and no one hears of it. He must be super petite |

If it's not a full fledged call centre please don't deal. Make sure you see the phone physically and don't deal with any third party. Be sure any recharge is made direct into the said phone before you part with your money and be sure to take your phone away when leaving, don't go and come back for it. You may make some enquiries first to be sure. Good luck.
I suspect that message tho...it did not explain what you did to win the phone and why a ph address. The fact you are in ph notwithstanding. |

I was the smallest and i think the youngest too....
That meant the teachers liked me and quite a number of the older students hated me
I was either not strong or i was plain scared so the big girls used to beat me up...
.....Until my dad registered my brother and i to learn taekwondo first and later judo.
I became popular and later notorious for fighting other people's causes and screwing up bullies. |

nextstep: If you were to find out how wealthy around the world people remain wealthy, it's that they live way below their means, allowing the money they have to keep growing. Rich/aspirational people are often too quick to spend and flash their clothes or cars and find themselves unable to sustain their money. Just because you see a person poorly dressed - plumber in rags, or a book seller in tatters, or small kiosk owner in a dirty singlet, or an akara seller in old wrappers, a billionaire wearing cheap jeans - does not mean they are not stacking chips and spending their money on more meaningful things (e.g. someone's education, or growing their business)
You know how many young boys trading in small shops become the big men of industry? They don't do it by frittering their money on clothes. I've seen poor-looking men commanding inventory in their various shops worth 100's of million Naira. Spot on. There is this massive pharmacy shop in my hood that most people patronise. There is this young man amongst others that I'd normally interact with when I walk in there to pick OTC drugs. I never knew he was the owner of the business until I met him inside an aircraft and we got talking. I was very impressed . |

I have mixed feelings when these soldiers die. They were the ones acting pythons and killing unarmed civilians, they are the ones that will hide under the power of guns and be beating up innocent civilians, but when they are in the theatre of war, i also sympathise with them.
It is clear in my head that their job function is kill or be killed. He just got the result of what could be expected. It's unfortunate but these things happen.
I empathise with his survivors. |
