HeyCorleone: What so you mean by "...a second class upper student will make a straight first class in other courses."?!
I'm assuming you haven't been to the university, otherwise you'd understand courses are very distinct. It's deeper than the books you read. It's a mindset. It's very possible that someone with a First Class in the sciences won't even make a 2'2 in the Arts or Management Sciences.
As the saying goes "everybody na king for him lane". Don't make such unreasonable statement anywhere again. Please. Tell em bro. I always tried to let people know that a science student by birth and orientation is home and dry with calculations and is far removed from prose and comprehension. It doesn't make the science orientated person smarter or duller than his arts based colleague or vice versa. I am a living example. I was scared of maths so much so that i refused to enter maths class in the secondary school. After graduation and when I went in for MBA, i realized i could handle calculation and did well in topics such as differentiation, dy/dX, statistics was beautiful, calculus, etc. But this was me who couldn't find the size of anything using any manner of formular at all. Pythagoras theorem became child's play. Anyways, i still remain a lawyer and still loving it. |

Your leaders made me rethink my stand.... I don't have to hate all Yorubas because I dislike Awolowo or Tinubu. They may have their views and opinions but those wouldn't necessarily represent the views of every yoruba person. In any case, i deal with individuals and not groups because I still have majority of yoruba friends and colleagues and they haven't shown anything different from what they are as individuals. Having said that, your views and approach to life remains yours, you have a right to them sir. Good day. |

DeRay98: You people should blackmailing Enyeama with what you don't know anything about. Sunday Oliseh was the one who didn't handle the crisis he caused well. Enyeama has paid his dues to the country if he's invited based on form and decides to come, it's simply because we have goalkeeper crisis and Rohr has been keen on bringing him back to help the team. If he comes his interest is not about captainship but out of necessity in the interest of the national team he served from 2002 to 2014. Enyeama is the most consistent goalkeeper Nigeria has ever had. Not even Emma Okala, Peter Rufai (1983-88, 1993-4),(1998) one Nations Cup and 2 WC appearance) was No1 for that length of time. Enyeama is most successful goalkeeper Nigeria has ever had (6 Nations Cup with onw Cup win, 3 WC appearances) The Captaincy is the duty of Rohr to decide and he won't tamper with it. Even Mikel is not threatened by Enyeama's presence. I completely agree with you. My exact views. |

liljboy: 7. They would have a friend with them
Ladies do not like visiting men for the first time alone. They would rather go with one or two friends that would help them break the tension that could be around the place.
Having one or two other girls in the room apart from the main girl visiting would spoil the show for the men. Ladies can be sure nothing would happen then. This is not a problem, the next visit, your friend will come alone. You'd be fighting from outside. |

LUGBE: If you know the premium attached to a certificate, then you then such should be protected with the utmost importance ie, taken to the bank just like money
Some of us here started acquiring certificates since 2008, and yet will continue. That same school you think that they don't issue certificate twice, many has gotten there's. Lol. When you started acquiring certificates in 2008, i already had two masters degrees and the certificates are intact. Stop making it sound like you have achieved a whole lot and no, no degree certificate is replaceable by another original, check what you have again. |

LUGBE: Stop making noise about it, just go to court and swear affidavit, proceed to Police to make entry and finally go to your school to follow procedure to get another certificate.
Is not everything you bother us in nairaland, people have more challenging problem still they resolve it without making it public. Your passion is very misplaced even if your solution is correct. You don't know the premium attached to a degree certificate. Meanwhile, originals are irreplaceable, you only get certified copies, which are nevertheless good as an original. |
