These pics are doing a whole lot of injustice to this university. It's simply a beautiful university, silently churning out academic gurus over time. Some of its strongest faculties include theatre arts, medicine and law. Of the 8 of us that that graduated second upper in my set, we have a judge, a SAN, a couple of high profile executive management gurus in banks and financial services outfits, we have a law dean, amongst others. If I had to live my life again, i will still be a malabite |

The only reason you are seeing our own is because this is a Nigerian site and they will post about the Nigerian team NATURALLY
Go to sites for the other countries and you will see their own players 'modeling' as well Spot on. I needed to be sure I am not the only person thinking this. If you ever rely on the examination week to master the syllabus and pass your examination well, you are on a long thing. All they need is focus and consistency. No new skills will be acquired now, they only need to perfect their strategy. If modelling will help them relax and deliver, they should please model more. |

nextstep: I understand and agree with your comment, however, the rule of law demands that everybody has a right to fair trial no matter what, and it is only a jury of peers, having heard all the evidence and arguments, that can legally decide if a person is guilty or not.
The law is blind, and lawyers too, must be blind. Their work is not to decide the case or to pass judgement, but to represent their client at the court and present their side of the story to the jury. The people taking the law into their own hands and issuing death threats to lawyers are actually doing the system more damage than they think.
Even a judge is not empowered to declare guilt or innocence: a judge officiates the court hearing and decides the punishment, if found guilty by the jury.
Presumption of innocence until proven guilty is a strong tenet in our society that we must safeguard, because history has shown again and again that to presume guilt is a slippery slope for all. Well written. However we do not run a jury system in Nigeria. So the judge evaluates the evidence before him and decides the guilt or otherwise of the accused on the preponderance of evidence which in a criminal matter must be beyond reasonable doubt, and not beyond any shadow of doubt. |
Family › Re: How I Caught My Cheating Wife by hardbody: 6:55am On Jun 13, 2018 |
angelboy01: I Am not really good at writing a composition but the whole thing started around last year November when I lost my job at a reputable company, things became really hard that my ex wife started with her attitude, someone I helped through her schooling, even opened a shop for her after our wedding.
She started losing interest in me because I was broke and there was no more love because I couldn't meet up to her demands. She became the bread winner around that time, things didn't go as expected for me, I needed to do a lot of things even pay for the rented apartment we were in and the landlord came with the eviction letter.
Things became really tough that she wasn't sleeping at home anymore, she would leave home for days and come back home and give me some little change and leave again, she started to live with her aunt and I became so lonely and useless in her eyes.
Eventually when I came up with the apartment money and we paid I decided I wasn't going to stay with her for a while and go out and look for a job, so as to avoid fight and arguments. She later called me that her boss from the USA was back and she was to go and meet him because they had a meeting to do so I said OK since I usually speak and text with his boss so I allowed her to go. So after I left home I got a job and I frequented coming home to see her and my baby. I later found out she began to lock her phone and I asked her for the password she wouldn't give it to me so I began to suspect her.
One day I eventually found the password and I unlocked it while she was asleep. I found out through a chat she had with her friend that she had sex with her said boss and she even bought a land without telling me all through the years we were together. I felt so betrayed and angry. I woke her up and asked her about it and she started crying and begging me.
I left home angrily and jilted. I was so devastated that I smoked a lot of weed that day and drank so much beer. I called my mom explained to her and later told her mom too. The next day her mom called me that she wanted to poison herself because of what she did. I sent her boss a message on WhatsApp and that one didn't even answer me because he knew what he did with my ex wife.
It's been months now since this happened and her mom calls me almost everyday begging me to forgive and forget but how do I forget, it's not easy for me because I can be having sex with her and be seeing her boss face.
I blocked her on Facebook and whatsapp but didn't block her calls or text message because of my baby when I need to send upkeep money. She calls me but I don't pick up. I know that I can't be with her anymore but she has the wedding certificate we got at the court wedding. I told her to give the photocopy of the certificate to my mom but she wouldn't do it.
Guys the reason why I wrote this is who has an idea on how to go about a divorce without the certificate because someone told me the certificate is important for the divorce. I don't know anything about it and my uncle even said the divorce will cost me a lot of money about 650k. I don't know it that's true too. Lol.
Please guys help out here. I have the proof of the chat and the audio conversation of the sex escapade with her boss so that will help in the court. My lovely daughter is 2 years now. How do I even collect my daughter from her. I have left all my property's for her because of my daughter and am starting my life afresh. Will the court be able to grant me my daughters custody although am not ready to train her myself but I have my mom who can do that for me.
In addition to all of this guy's if your girl or woman passwords her phone and doesn't show you her password be very careful she might be cheating because not only did I find out she had sex with her boss I also found out she was also on some random social media nonsense talking to some random guys and all that and that she also bought a land without telling me for 3 years we were together.
Thanks for learning from my story and God bless you guys. You don't need a certificate to file for divorce. In any case, when the suit is filed, if she is joining issue, she will respond with a copy, if she is not, not a problem. Your lawyer should be able to sort the evidence out. It will certainly cost you some money. Peace |

The girl abi na guy or whosoever is behind that moniker is a troll I am not joining issues but need to clarify that sometimes circumstances may affect a student. I was sick throughout my first year in uni and struggled to write my first and second semester exams. Even the Medical Health Director of the campus clinic advised me to defer till the next year, i assured him i could manage and i did. A number of colleagues did very well, i struggled with my results. But i had no resits or carry overs. My second year result came out better than the first and the third year was better than the second. In my third year I was sitting on top of a comfortable second class lower result and i started socialising in earnest, joint a number of clubs, catching the fun i missed and never losing focus. In my final year I came out with a second upper, alongside 7 other guys. I guess the advantage i had was the fact UNICAL then, your first and second year was cummulated at 40% while your third and fourth were cummulated at 60%. In the final analysis it makes sense to take the sails when the tide is high. If you know you know. |

Crime › Re: 'I Buried 20 People In Libyan Desert'- Nigerian Deportee Confesses. Photos by hardbody: 3:58pm On Jun 09, 2018 |
BoneBlogger: A Nigerian deportee who just arrived from Libya has given a startling confession at T.B. Joshua’s Church in Lagos, painting an alarming picture of the death toll of African migrants seeking to illegally enter Europe.
Efe Alimi, an Edo State indigene, revealed how he had participated in the mass burial of 5,300 bodies in a single day on the Libyan shore, decomposing remains of those who had drowned while attempting to cross the Mediterranean Sea to Europe.
“Most of the bodies washed up on the shore had decayed. When we picked them up, their flesh peeled away to the bone. Some were without ears, eyes or breasts. All were my African brothers and sisters,” he recollected in a shocking revelation posted to T.B. Joshua’s official Facebook Page.
According to Alimi, the bodies were dumped into a mass grave, crushed by excavators and then covered by the Libyans who had picked him and a group of other migrants to do the “dirty job”.
Alimi travelled to the North African nation via Niger in 2013. 29 embarked on the dangerous journey through the Sahara Desert but only 9 reached Libya.
“I actually buried 20 people in the desert,”Alimi recalled, adding that he only survived by drinking urine after they were stranded for five days without food or water.
After an unsuccessful attempt to cross the Mediterranean to Italy in 2017, he was imprisoned in an underground dungeon for one year before the intervention of the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), who facilitated his return to Nigeria.
Another deportee, Johnson Imonigie, equally shared distressing details of how the makeshift boat he was in capsized en route to Italy. 121 were on board and 87 drowned.
Even prior to his attempt to cross the ocean, Johnson had been kidnapped and sold into slavery three times in Libya.
During his incarceration, one of his close friends was beaten to death in his presence.
“They decided to beat me on my manhood,” he vividly recalled.“I can’t even begin to describe the pain. I was there the day they hit my friend there so hard he actually died.”
On Tuesday 5thJune 2018, 171 Nigerians were voluntarily deported from Libya, over 90 of them deciding to visit Joshua’s famed Church in search of aid.
Hearing their plight, Joshua and his ‘Emmanuel TV Partners’ gave the group N3m ($8,500) to help them start their lives afresh in Nigeria.
The news comes on the heels of the United Nations imposing sanctions on six leaders of human trafficking networks in Libya.
