Faber:ok sir. at least your comment is constructive. would be good if you can point the loop holes out so i correct them. |
michael77777:part of the low iq i was talking about. telling me scam is real as if i ever said scam was not real. if scam was not real would i even write this article? as for intelligence, i only said even a person with low iq can be a fraudster. afterall there are also "clients" with low iq he can defraud. My message is people should stop assuming that "yahoo boys" are Highly intelligent, most of them are just average or even below average |
Preciousgirl:the meal is superficial. just rice and fried pomo. no dodo, no veggies. nothing special here. nonsense food |
Prosperous111:shikena |

o Boy, Seun you seem to be ignorant of the problems of this country, be like too much money dey worry you |
ivolt:thank you my brother. so people dont know how it goes. one is already venting cos he wants people to respect him as a yahoo boy. they want people to call the "Baba", "Agba Awo" , they want people to think they are special because they are following a format and taking advantage of people |
Prosperous111:even a reasonable yahoo boy can write this article while still in the business of scamming. he could just write it to educate others, it does not mean he is not into it or would stop doing it,... sometimes after making money, people want to just give back to the society and that could come in forms like this. |
6. MYTH : They are into fraud because of poverty Truth: They are into fraud because they have no conscience While it is true that most of these fraudsters started due to poverty, they actually continue because they have no conscience. they are driven by greed. PLEASE NOTE: They are not the only thieves in our society. Bankers, Lawyers, Ceos of comapnies and industries, Politicians etc are also scammers. |
Prosperous111:the thread pain you abi? |
Prosperous111:na so. i see i have struck some nerves. stupid boys |
The5DME:i did not say there are no intelligent fraudsters, i said most of them are as average as the general population is. there are several factors that must come into play to be sucessful in a scam, even a very stupid person can succeed in scaming a person of millions or making some one fall in love with them. jsut saying the word "i love you" is enough to get some women or men hooked and ready to spend. Stupid silly girls are playing on the intelligence of rich old men and collecting millions from them by just telling very simply lies, it does not take a lot of intelligence. most of these formats are extremely simply and monotonous. |
Tenrytega:do you know how many highly qualified engineers have died while working on a project? or you think only dropouts die like this? do you know that NASA lost their Astronauts in an explosion just few seconds after takeoff in 2003 in the Columbia Shuttle disaster? you obviously dont know anything. |
DDDEnterprises:thank you sir |
The5DME:you think only highly intelligent people can scam? |
Darkerberry:exactly what i am saying. there is no where that money appears. you work for the money legally or illegally, you still work and get paid. juju does give money, it gives confidence and the users are highly motivated with is what we need most times to succeed |
Joysticks:touch and follow are all stories sir. you would be surprised how many girls would remove their pants if only you ask them with confidence. girls also want sex. i had guys when i was in akure that toast girls for fun and you would almost think they were using juju, cos i could not believe how many girls were so willing to have sex with them right from the start. before i knew it i was also catching fun with this guys until i outgrew it as it was just a waste of time and focus. sex is extremely easy to get. as for the "do as i say" charm, lol. bro, forget it, confidence is very key in human psychology. same thing pastors use. this is why Scammers are called "CONFIDENCE MAN", which was a term used to describe scammers. juju gives scammers here in nigeria a lot of confidence and this in turn helps them get a lot of result not the juju |
muller101:you dont need school to be educated. saying school na scam can be right but saying education na scam is where the problem would start. people get educted at home, online etc, you dont need school before you can be educated. school is scam in most cases. what you learn in 4years in school can be learned perfectly in 6 months at home. do you know how many highly qualified engineers have died while working on a project? or you think only dropouts die like this? do you know that NASA lost their Astronauts in an explosion just few seconds after takeoff in 2003 in the Columbia Shuttle disaster? you obviously dont know anything. |
SouthCaroliina:you are the one that should not be stupiid |
kestolove95:you seem to be into it already. |
elonmuskbaby:lol. you know as e dey go |
by Yahoo boys, i mean the Nigerian Internet Fruadsters. 1. MYTH: The are very intelligent Fact : Most of them have average or low IQ It is popular accepted that "yahoo boys" are very smart, so much so that people would say, "why dont they use their intelligence for better things?" the truth of the matter is these guys are not as smart as you imagine. Most of them are actually less intelligent than entrepreneurs and working class people who have to be innovative, book smart and street smart to make it. What people dont know is that Yahoo boys only follow what they call a "FORMAT" meaning everything is already laid out, somebody intelligent comes up with this format and he teaches others. There are different Formats, Romance, Alibaba, Credit Card Loading, tax return, car wrap, Come-and-carry, etc. you dont have to be smart to follow any of these formats. Hushpuppy is a proof of how unintelligent even successful Yahoo boys are. he was using his direct (personal) line and personal email address to communicate with his clients and associates with lots of incriminating materials in his personal email and personal phone line. without these, the FBI would not be able to prove he was a fraudster. so stop respecting these guys, they are not intelligent. 2. MYTH : They can hack Truth : 99.9% of them dont know anything about hacking To be considered an hacker, you must actually know how front and backend program interfaces work, then be able to exploit weaknesses, bugs or loopholes in how the program is scripted. This means you must be able to understand programming languages, able to access source codes, able to build tools "executable files" that would compromise target scripts. Trust me all these boys shouting "hacking" up and down your street cannot even write a "Hello World" script in any program. in fact most of them dont even know what i mean by "hello world" because they know NOTHING about how computers or computer programs work, talkless of being able to hack. most times you read news about some local boys hacking bank systems etc, it is all rubbish. for them to gain access to your credit card or bank information, they use basic tricks to actually steal the information from you through "social engineering" - calling you and asking you questions pretending to be from the bank or just getting basic information about you such as your Date of birth, place of birth, your schooling information and they can use these to "recover" your accounts. Dont be afraid, they cannot hack anything, they are posers and only rely on your carelessness to steal your account information. NOTE: there are hackers, but these guys are very rare. they are 1 in 10,000 fraudsters you will meet. 3. MYTH : They are successful because of JUJU "Yahoo Plus" Truth : the Juju is psychological Most Nigerians already believe that boys claiming to be into yahoo are actually into JUJU. this is a big lie they want you to believe. There is no Yahoo boy that gets a kobo without "working" for it. Yahoo Plus or Not all boys have to hustle to make the money. they have to lie, they have to bomb, they have to follow up. Juju only gives them moral. It is true that most successful ones are into juju, but not because the juju makes them successful, it is because it takes a desperate and highly motivated person to go into juju. They are into Juju (yahoo plus) because they are desperate, highly motivated and focused on their Yahoo career, because of these they are more successful than the other boys that are just freelancing and not so desperate, hence people are mislead to think they are successful because of the JUJU. Secondly, JUJU is a fraternity thing for Yahoo Boys. if you are in a fraternity, you are more likely to pull big scams because you know your guys would not betray you because they fear the JUJU bond between them. if you have a picker for example that is not in your fraternity, it is likely he would run away with your money, hence the juju part comes to play for the big time scammers. here is an article by the Guardian Newspaper titled Ritual does not give us money, Yahoo Plus boys confess https://guardian.ng/features/ritual-does-not-give-us-money-yahoo-plus-boys-confess/ 4. MYTH : Only greedy people fall for their scams TRUTH : Majority fall because they are trusting and not because they are greedy while it is true that greed can make people fall for cheap scams, truth me; majority of victims were not victims because of greed, but because of trust. when you are a trustworthy person, you tend to trust other people easily and this makes you vulnerable to exploitation and that is what these boys do. they exploit people who trust them. Stop mocking people who are victims of scams, because most times it shows they are good people who trust easily. 5. MYTH : Only gullible people fall for their scams TRUTH : Everyone is gullible, experience is what most victims lack. i mean it, EVERY DAMN PERSON ON EARTH CAN BE SCAMMED. i have an uncle who is a lawyer, he would boast that no body can every scam him, yet he is one of the most scammed person i have ever met in my life. this man gets scammed by everyone around him. he was scammed so much that his mechanic made him spend over N1.3 million to repair a fault that would have cost him only N120k to fix. His electrician collected over N200k to just fix his meter (nothing was wrong with the meter). There is no human that has ever lived that cannot be scammed, that you know how some scammers work, does not mean you know everything, you only know what your experience or experience of other people teaches you, when something new comes up, that fits your fancy or need, you will fall for the scam

budaatum:your comment is ridiculous. so you expected me to lift all the comments from the thread and post here as evidence? my experience living in several states of the north with muslim majority counts for nothing right? it is a FACT not my opinion that muslims passionately hate those they feel are apostates and it is a FACT that majority support such people being killed and it is a FACT that other muslims that do not support such killings and abuse of fundamental human rights pretend they do not know that dismissal of these fundamental rights is a problem for majority of muslims when it comes head to head with their religion. i dont need to reply your other mentions as they are absolute nonsense |
cooooooks:you are right that liberal christians are confused. I agree 100% why? because christianity requires you take a solid stand with the full expectations of the religion, you cannot be on the fence as a christian. so homosexual christians for example are confused set of people cos need to twist the scriptures to support their liberal belief. you say fundamental christians are honest, well to a large extent, but only when it comes to validation of their religion. are they honest about the problems of their religion? Absolutely not, they are extremely dishonest when they must defend their religion and only honest in matters that validates them or their religion. |
techtechh:interesting. i am interested in your story. 1. were you born an atheist? if no, how did you become an atheist? 2. if you are no longer an atheist, what God so you subscribe to and why? thanks |
fieryy:why dont you ladies contribute to discussions in the religion section? Surprised to see we have so many atheists on nairaland. |
1Sharon:you are talking to stupid people |
fergie001: @ PE teacher, but we escaped. would be mocking the "P.E teacher's" fans tomorrow |
fergie001:what a relief. |
IMAliyu:it would depend on how god is defined. for example if you say you believe god to be the energy that keeps the universe alive. i could accept that. if you say your god is the sun, i could accept that. if you say your god is the conscience in every human, i could accept that. these are definations that are within a scope that is realistic. the moment you start adding attributes to your god that you cannot prove, then there is a problem. for example if you said god is the sun, that is good... then you take it further and say the sun created heaven and earth, you begin to get silly,.. then you say this sun talks to you and commands you to do things,... hmmm... that is were religion comes in. religions make claims that cannot be substantiated, that are illogical and impractical. you can choose to just worship the sun because it is integral to life on earth, no problem because i understand why you made that decision even though i would not go along with you to worship the sun. so it totally depends on how you define god. |
ItsReal:i do not agree with you sir. in islam, a woman's testimony is worth half that of a man. this is a fact!. it is a fact that muslim men think they have the right to put women straight even to the extent of beating them. just to mention a few sir. |
ItsReal:you are right. i do not dispute this that other religion are also guilty. but why are muslims still blood thirsty in this day and age and live in denial about the blood thirst. |
DoggoneDogg:i am yoruba and yet could not help laughing at this comment. |
