In recent days, the media has been engorged with reports of commotions in Afghanistan.
this reports are misleading as the truth is normal day to day activities are still going on in Afghanistan, while it is true that some people are running to leave the country, it is most likely they are doing so because they seek greener pastures in Europe and America and they see this as an opportunity for easy entry to Europe and America. they are not leaving because their lives are threatened.

what most people do not know is Afghan just like most other Islamic countries want the preservation of the core Islamic values while seeking to better their socio-economic opportunities.

Survey revealed that 99% of Afghans actually want a Sharia based government and 99.7% of Afghans are Muslims.

we should at least know this before assuming they want to be Christians or are not in support of Sharia based government. Just Like Saudi Arabia admits that they are working to improve the rights of women, Afghanistan also admits that there are rights issues and they are ready to help their people enjoy better rights under Sharia.

Yet again you make a wild assumption. Apostacy and the laws about it is not a discussion he has ever had with any Muslim. It isn't a tenet of faith. What I know of it is based on my own deliberate research on reliable fatwa sites. I know it's the majority view of scholars but I don't even know if majority of lay Muslims I deal with on a day to day basis even know about it.

I agree with you; your observation is accurate if we are going to be absolutely honest.
Since i became an atheist i have refused to join myself to any group despite being invited several times. If memory serves me well, hahn once invited me to just a basic whatsapp group of atheists and i turned it down. while it is true that joining groups would most likely lead to a herd mentality, it is also true that socialization is VERY important if we are going to make impact in our society.

I was at the fringes of the endsars protest and it is absolutely true that the whole thing was being lead by people that sought personal glory and benefits... IT IS FACT. most of them even have no idea of the core of the operations and abuses of the sars offices. you see people taking the lead in the campaign and they are just talking nonsense. they have no core experience with sars and they have no idea of the problem they are meant to be talking, they were a bunch of posers. majority were in for the spoils and that is why it has achieved nothing (sars and police brutality is still a real problem, they are just regrouping).

the problem is inevitable because of the human nature. it is just what it is, we still have to keep supporting groups that are preaching the messages that are good for the general public even if they are posers, we in this way re-enforce the values we want in our society
