Oh my God...I felt bad just seeing this. Ours was a little bit complicated. They sent a mail that they tried to reach my wife but her line was not reachable and they are scheduling her for an interview 3 days later. We replied the mail and requested for the interview to be done earlier. There was no reply to our email but she got a call a day earlier than the scheduled date, and that was when network started acting up. She said they will reschedule after about 36mins into the call. The next day another person called and continued for another 10mins or so. We didn't send any mail after the first interview ended. I really hope this helps. I am so sorry I came in late. lma4real: Please it's urgent, I was in the middle of interview now when the network started doing somehow, the lady doing the interview said he could not hear me clearly so she had to end the call...what did you do when you were in the same situation...I have sent a mail though but I need your experience as you have been in my shoe once...Please all the house @justwise and others... |

The appointment mail... Goddyss: Please did you show any document to the porter before you booked a slot for walk in. I want to know if someone can book a slot for another? |

If you have a choice, I will suggest to try VI. Based on my experienceas a family of 3, I could only get a date for self service for one person as there were no available slot. What I did was to choose assisted service and some dates opened up in August. I then went there for a walk in. Wall in crowd yesterday and today is massive. I got there at 6am yesterday but couldn't enter as the slots for walk in was exhausted. I was able to do biometrics today based on the list the porter took yesterday. Those that got there at 3am this morning have not had a chance to enter as at when I left there. Too much story I guess, but it is just to say...if you have the extra means, please go to VI. otunbanimi: any one with useful info on how i can get a date for biometrics at TLS Ikeja? |

@justwise and @all who can weigh in on this, kindly help.
My International Passport will expire December 29,2021. I have done TB test with the current Passport in April. Can I apply for visa with it in July? Can I fly with it in September? I saw somewhere that you can't use the Passport if it is less than 6 months to expiration date.
Please help! |

Greetings to all,
For those who used Form A to pay for tuition fee, what rate did the banks use? CBN rate or Bank rate? What i have read in pages past on this thread is showing rates higher than CBN.
Kindly advise. |

Thank you ma for your professional input. Should push comes to shove and it is option 2, what is the likely cost of the replacement of the oil control valve? radautoworks: It's the oil control valve acting up.
If you're lucky and it's just dirty oil and filter, option one will solve your problem. If not, option 2. 1) oil and filter change 2) replace oil control valve/vvt actuator |

Good evening seniors and auto experts in the house.
I sincerely need help on this.
My KIA Cerato 2010 jerks when I start it and intermittently (a little though), a Kazeem told me I needed to change the plugs which I did but the issue persists. He later said I might have to change the coil as well.
I did a scan of the engine today and the result is what is shown in the attached picture. Kindly advise on the way forward. I have done a small Google search of the P0012 scan result and I can't find the answers in those pages.
In addition, I noticed the fuel consumption is not economical.

Hearty Congratulations to you ladymarshall, the shower of accolades is only a reflection of who you are to us on this thread. Personally, I find your intelligence and display of maturity unparalleled. Your PPR story is a nice one to read. Weak but keeping others strong, it looks as though you were made of steel; yet it only shows you are human afterall, Thank you for all you do. Keep towering highest in your new found home. Congratulations once again. ladymarshall: First, let me say a big thank you for your wishes and prayers since I first announced. I’m so overwhelmed as I type not just because of the happy shock of PPR but also because I never expected the outpouring of love. Thank you. I really appreciate you all. |

@joo2018, I can try to help if I get the guidance. joo2018: Hiya,
I can do the first, but not the second. I've had help with the Hall of Fame from @raphrulz, but I can see that it is getting tough as the he has not been able to update since August 30.
I also think that the thread will be better served with someone who is currently active.
If an active contributor is willing to commit the next 3 months to updating the PPR Hall of Fame, I'm willing to guide that person.
I think interested contributors should reply this post so it can be public. I think it is better than nomination. The thread has been lucky that when @glitteringstar, @raphrulz and I were nominated in the past, we were able to step up.
If we were nominating, I will choose @ladymarshall as she is the current "boss" in the house. If she is willing.
I don't think the thread should be more than 700 pages though for ease of reading (some people do read whole threads) and for organizing.
If someone has not stepped up by 700 pages, I might open another thread, but the Hall of Fame will definitely suffer. |

She was confident she wrote well but thinking of remark of 43k with MOD, it's disheartening. What if reading does not change? 43k will just waka? E no beta make we make up money and she write with BC? Please don't ask of my own score. I was able to give her 12points with my score.
She has been crying since morning. We are newly married. She is already feeling she is drawing our plans backward. I feel terrible honestly but to give up? Mbanu! I don't give up! Not now and not later.
@Johnnybravo1990, @ladymarshal please we need your divine intervention. She plans to write again on 29th June 2019.

This is the reality of marriage. It is painful but I believe in what prayers can do. Since your husband's primary reason is anchored in God's instruction, I strongly believe you can trust God to talk to him. Most importantly, the your sanity and that of your marriage is more important than the Canada dream. Guide and guard it with all you have. But in all, never say never. Rence22: My fellow nairalanders. I appreciate your help so far despite the fact that I haven't really gone too far. I am just at the ECA stage and registered for ielts next month. It's with a very great sadness that I might have to pull out of this canny dream. Really sad for me. hubby has seriously been reluctant. Says he loves his Naija and God has not instructed him to leave Nigeria and until he receives his heavenly dream from God, he is not going anywhere. He actually said if I want to go badly, I should. But here's the problem, with 3 kids ages 5 3, and 1.5 years old. How do I cope with daycare, job search, mobility, picking up from schools, groceries, and upkeep alone in Canada. To worsen it, he isn't supporting financially. I even offered and begged to have him sit for ielts and his eca with my monthly pay he reluctantly said yes but I thought, one can only force a horse to the river but not to drink. Without his help how will I survive with 3 beautiful kids alone in Canada. He is not even batting an eye concerning the benefits. He's a speedy driver, says cars are meant for speed how will such a person cope with Canadian traffic rules. These and some little others have just weakened me especially my children and the highest I can even leave them is a week. We are that close that they have never gone to bed without my hug and kisses. I dont have any family over there to help with. Good night. |

Just as a piece of advice for those of us still in the valley of decision with respect to the ECA body to use and whether to evaluate B.Sc even when you have an M.Sc.
My opinion is that you should look beyond the immediate CRS score and see into your journey in Canada should things go well with your application. Let's try to look into things like licensing with professional bodies. For instance, in my little research, engineers in Alberta need to evaluate their first degree and for this reason, I decided to evaluate my B.Sc along with my M.Sc which would have been unnecessary if all I am bothered with is CRS points. I evaluated both to make it easier for me to ask WES for a reevaluation when the time comes. It might cost a little more, but it is cheaper on the long run.
In summary, take out time to 'plan out' and look beyond the immediate need.
Cheers to a PPR filled week ahead. |

May 17 about 3am, I found myself awake. I said to myself lemme pray. I checked my work mail like 5 times already and didn’t check my personal mail. I went to IG and spent almost an hr. I wanted to sleep back, and I was feeling guilty that I didn’t even pray, I hope Social media would not be the end of me. I hoped to check my mail before saying a 2 minutes prayer and closing my eyes. ...It was there, the long awaited email has been waiting for me since 11.35pm on 16th May.
Right now I don’t have a passport Cos my dog ate it, and no! I wasn’t careless. The dog picked it from my opened bag on the floor in my room.
