Sorry this is coming late guys.

So I woke up early on December 9, 2018 as I couldn’t sleep because of too much excitement to finally settle in my beloved Canada. My Lufthansa flight to Toronto via Frankfurt was scheduled for 11:40 PM, I got to the airport just in time to check in. After the much dreaded checking in, I had a huge relief. From AoR to PPR to CoPR, village people still wanted to at least try their luck again at the airport. My dad’s car broke down just as we arrived the airport.

I have landed in praise. God bless you all.

I wrote mine on 22nd Jan at same place, guess that is the only place where computer based IELTS test is done in Lagos. We were told the result will be out by 29th Jan but i logged on my profile today and saw a message that results will be available to view in the Test Taker Portal between Friday, 01 February 2019 and Wednesday, 06 February 2019.

I pray it is released Tuesday ...

It will end in praise....

I'll advice you to let the ongoing ECA for your spouse to continue, concentrate more on maxing out IELTS, by the time that is done then its easier for you to make the decision on the aforementioned

If I may ask, why don't you want to go through the PNP route?

My Understanding of the email is that you will only be excluded from FSW route only when you accept the nomination.

It's also stated that the expression of interest does not mean automatic nomination.

My advise would be to pursue the two options.. PNP and FSW.. My two cents

Harjeehbaday its very dicey, you have to gamble. scores might drop, it might not drop. Good luck with whatever decision you make

It simply means you have been nominated for Ontario PNP.

If you accept, you will have a defined no of days to submit your application for the PNP.

If you don't accept, it does not affect you getting ITA directly. What is your crs score?

Yes, you also have the opportunity to choose the time for your speaking test while registering for the exam.
